@Potemking: I feel as though you may have a masochistic compulsion. I've broken many a controller over Soulsborne games.

Redguards are technically the Arabians of Tamriel, so wouldn't shouting "Haji" make more sense? No disrespect to my Muslim buddies out there, just sayin'.

[2] It can also be effective in subverting the person's expectations. Take for instance Spec Ops: The Line. Looks like a boring military shooter, but is actually a grim look into the horrors of war.

Kinda have to agree with the Unicycle on this one. This....I don't even know what to say about it. I was honestly thinking of joining this, but one glimpse at the IC and I'm surprised my eyeballs didn't pop out of their sockets and commit seppuku! Yes this is the free section, where anything goes, but still. You want your posts to be legible and understandable at least. I couldn't make heads or tails of that clusterfuck of verbal spunk.

Secondly, if you're going to do a fandom RP for Fallout or for any, it is very important that you stick to the lore already established. I get you wanna add a new twist to the formula, but enough drops of sodium into a bucket of water will just burn your pubes off. Instead of Australia, what about maybe a setting in California or Texas? Hell, why not just stick with the original DC wasteland?

Lastly this. I understand you're probably trying to capture the sandbox feel of the Fallout series, but truth be told, even those games had an underlying narrative for all the faffing about in the wasteland. What about two factions duking it out like the Enclave and the Brotherhood of Steel or Caesar's Legion and the NCR, or better yet what if the wastelanders had to band together against a rising threat? Maybe there was some new faction coming into power, quickly gaining influence until it began full scale conquest, and it was up to you and others, just a couple of bandits, marauders, and other undesirables to face it head on? I'm just throwing some shit out here to help you.
@Z2010Deadmeat Yeah... on free balloon day!

EDIT: Well...they had a good run at least.

Requiescat in pace friends
And I'm off to work. See you later tonight, lovelies! ;3

-Personality-
Candy's a charming southern girl with a big heart, and she's not afraid to get her hands dirty, though she is greatly traumatized by all that has occurred to her since the epidemic struck her hometown. She can be stubborn as a mule sometimes, and often times she goes with her gut feeling rather than what someone tells her to do. She is friendly with everyone she meets, but due to certain circumstances, it's hard for her to trust others. Candy's great at holding her own, but sometimes she can become scared and confused, often to the point of panicking.

-Bio-
Before the bomb's fell, life was simple for Candace. Born into a family of ranchers, she lived most her life on a fifty acre horse ranch just a few miles outside Whitesboro, Texas, where she grew up loving to ride horses, going fishing and camping at the lake, and going hunting with her dad. She had a close knit group of friends at her school, made straight A's in most of her classes, and was just weeks away from getting her driver's license.....then it happened. News began to spread rampantly of the attacks, the most destructive hitting the East Coast. At first, Candace and her folks ignored it, thinking it was just a terrorist attack and that it wasn't going to hit Whitesboro any time soon, but as the days dragged on, Candy's optimism began to fade. She would see jets and helicopters and other military vehicles storming through her quiet little town and even past the ranch. Soldiers with guns were stationed at her school and scanning all of the students, some Candace never saw again. It was a nightmare becoming all too real for her, but she was sure the war wouldn't hit anywhere near her home, not when she lived virtually miles away from anyone....but she was wrong. One night, when Candace could barely sleep because of the helicopters thundering over her house, she heard her mother scream. Quickly, Candace darted from her bed and to her parents' bedroom, only to discover the horrible truth.

Her father had been gunned down in cold blood by soldiers in all black military gear, the very same dragging her mother out of the house kicking and screaming. The soldiers soon took after her and chased her all through the house, finally cornering her in the living room. By the way they spoke, she quickly figured out they were Chinese. The troops had her pinned to the floor and were about to violate her, until she was rescued by Jonah, their next door neighbor. Jonah helped Candace escape out the back door of the house, and across the ranch they made their way, pursued by more soldiers. Once they made it to the highway, Candace quickly turned around hearing gunshots. Much to her horror....Jonah had been shot.

"G..go..." He uttered weakly, handing his revolver to Candace, still wet with his very blood. "Run!"

And that's what she did.... sobbing uncontrollably, she ran...and kept running.

Since that horrific night, Candace has traveled far from her home, seeking other survivors or at least a place to rest safely. She took with her a small rucksack full of some essential survival items, such as a first aid kit and rations and ammo for her revolver, but what she had taken...doesn't add up to all she has lost. Her family was gone, her friends...likely dead. She had no home anymore, and with all the horror, all the grisliness, the disturbing and tragic things she has witnessed over these past few days...she had lost....her innocence...

Cold, tired, weak and hungry...she finally collapsed in front of an old gas station out in the middle of nowhere, after such a long and harrowing journey. It was here tonight she decided to rest. Maybe tomorrow she would find someone....or...maybe she would die...

The decision was made. We would go left.

It would have been a bit more plausible anyways, other than taking a path that was already searched by one of us just moments ago. However, I still get this feeling we should have chosen right instead of left. I don't know why honestly.

I follow behind Will without any more qualms, well, any more visible qualms, but then I hear something, faint in the distance. It's another voice, a girl's. Then I realize, there was a girl I had recognized, one of us who hadn't woke up yet. She was awake now. "Will, wait." I say to him almost urgently. "Did you hear that?"

I'm wondering now if she would keep pressing forward or return to the clearing to greet our newly awakened acquaintance. Then again, Josh and Jason should still be there trying to climb the tree. Maybe they would help her.
Still open? ^___^ I like the premise of this RP, and I think I has two characters that would be good for it.
@TheHangedMan

Yu gon die.
Oh well. At least I didn't die in a pose that would confuse future archaeologists. Thanks for watching my back dipshits! <.<
@TheHangedMan Eh...it could go that way. But you do bring up a good point...that I didn't think of earlier terribleGM Either 1. I could play the hapless victim myself, or 2. Just pick someone at random, unless they wanna volunteer.
