Valentine went over to his chest and smiled at its contents. This would be a welcome addition to his hoard. Prepayment was always welcome, it was a good way to show you were serious. Valentine was very much willing to hear out this guy on the first order. It would probably involve raiding a major town. It would be nothing less for a reward like this. This was going to be a pain.

"There is where your target lies. You target is the Pokemon Rayquaza. You must eliminate him for my plans to continue, and for you to receive your next job."

Scratch that, he would much rather raid the village. Valentine grabbed his teleport gem and closed his chest. This was one interesting employer to say the least. Valentine braced himself for the coming battle and activated the teleport gem.

God's Shattering [Concluded]

Chen raised an eyebrow at Mikoto's statement, blushing as he suddenly realized the implication. "I- I would never-" He was suddenly interrupted by Ruxen basically saving his ass. "Thank you Ruxen." He said politely as the blush faded from his cheeks. What a perplexing situation for him, being attacked and being unable to attack back. Thank god that was over with.

"Miss Mikoto, please stop trying to sell to the person trying to kill us." Chen asked as he began to let his shield melt. Then an arrow shot through the woman's head. Chen's eyes widened as he was sprayed by blood, some of it got in his eye, but that didn't matter. A grey man emerged from the forest, the killer in question. "You dare! How could you kill this woman in cold blood!" Anger bloomed on Chen's face as he slowly let go of reason. "She was injured! She was scared for her life and you took her life! How dare you! How dare you!" Ice began to spread all across the ground, but suddenly stopped. Chen was breathing heavy, his eyes were slowly going half to their usual blank stare. "You will pay for your crimes. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a life for a life." Chen took a deep breath and the ice on the ground melted. The man made some hand signals and more people emerged from the forest.
Chen put his hand into his jacket pocket and grabbed the Green Relic, pulling it out and holding it tightly. "Here's hoping I don't turn into a vegetable." And then Chen pumped Mana into it. A lot, enough for a good amount of spells really. And he prayed that it would work.

Ryan had almost gotten lost on his way to the warehouse and had luckily been saved by a passerby. They directed him towards the warehouse with a knowing smile, likely assuming he was going there for some teenage mischief. Ryan shivered as he passed into the Mirror World, it felt strange. He met up with everyone and stared at the three destinations that lay before him.

There was the Moritomi Home For The Disturbed, the Hall of The Slain, and the... Super Magical Runway? Ryan resisted the urge to laugh, this was a life and death scenario. Seriously though? It couldn't be more out of place. Rui decided to lead the party for Super Magical Runway and Ryan died a little on the inside. Of course he was going to get put with one of the creepier dungeons. Was his dungeon creepy? A question for another time.

Ryan turned towards his group and put on his best smile. "I guess I'm going to be working with you guys. I'm Ryan, it's nice to meet you all."

More Pokemon arrived after Valentine, each one looking powerful enough to match him. A Salamence, a Machamp, Hippowdon, Beartic. The best of their typings some would say. He might have to work with some of them judging by the number of Pokemon here. The Bisharp seems the most tolerable.

"You six have completed the challenge I have set for you. Good work. You six are truly worthy of my presence, but I will not reveal myself to you yet."

"Who are you even? And why bring together a bunch of random Pokemon like this?"

"A good question. Why are we here?" Valentine wasn't a fool, he didn't like to work without purpose. That's the best way to get screwed over.

"You may refer to me as "The Master." And I have brought you all together to complete a number of tasks for me. Believe me, if completed, you will be greatly rewarded for you efforts. Money, Power, Eternal Life, all of it can be yours. Just do as I say from here on out. If you disagree with these terms..." Suddenly a boulder rolled away, unblocking a nearby cave that presumably led to the ground.

"You may leave. If you agree, then listen to what I have to say. I'll let you make your choices."[/i] This "Master" person was shady. Shady beyond all belief, yet Valentine was intrigued. Everyone slowly agreed to join, leaving only Valentine. A moment passed and Valentine closed his eyes. When they opened once more, they were filled with conviction. "Your cause is my cause. I will join."

Valentine confused yet another Pokemon who was attacking before vanishing through a wall to a somewhat safe area. While it was a tough dungeon, nothing would stop him from this job. He ascended yet another staircase with a Shadow Ball at the ready, searching for threats. It was at that moment that a voice echoed through his mind, startling him and causing him to fire off the Shadow Ball at a nearby wall.

"The first acceptant has reached the Peak, there is now a time limit on how quickly you must arrive. You have one hour to reach the peak now, after that, no others will be allowed to join."

Damn it. This dungeon was hard enough as is, a time limit was the last thing he needed. Valentine shook his head and floated through the hallways in search of another stairway. He was almost at the peak, he could feel it.

Current World Time: 1:30 PM

Valentine made it to the last staircase with about half an hour to spare by his count. There weren't as many Pokemon on the final floor, likely because of the mystery first acceptant. Not that Valentine was complaining, this had been one of the harder dungeons he's had to go through. He chomped down on an Oran Berry and ascended the final stairway, ready to take on the world.

Valentine reached the peak and saw a Bisharp sitting by himself, likely waiting for the contractor. "I'm guessing you're the first acceptant." Valentine floated towards the Bisharp, stopping at a relatively safe distance.

God's Shattering [Concluded]

Chen stayed on guard, paying little attention to Ruxen and Mikoto. The ice in his hands turned into a knife and the ground around him froze, making a quick getaway easily doable. It shouldn't hurt his allies either, Ruxen being far away enough that she wouldn't be on the ice and Mikoto being able to fly.

Suddenly a song echoed through the forest, female voice, somewhat young, hurt, no not hurt, tired. Something was being dragged as well, but it wasn't heavy. Then the mystery voice showed herself. His initial thoughts had been correct, she was very hurt. Chen dropped his knife and began to step forward. "Excuse me miss, you need to stop moving. You are only exacerbating your wounds-"

Suddenly she jumped at him with the now very noticeable steak knife, aiming to cut him open like a bag of flour. Chen hopped back as quickly as he could, forming a shield in his left hand to block any further attacks. He certainly wasn't going to attack her after all.

Valentine was just heading out of the village when he suddenly was passed by a group of pokemon led by an Excadrill. They were severely wounded and had likely failed at whatever task they had been sent out to do, judging by the looks of intense misery and self loathing. That had nothing to do with him though, so he carried on out of the village. That was until some random voice interrupted his thoughts out of the blue.

"You, who have been deemed worthy. You have been chosen by me, soon to be the master of all, to aid me in my quest. I shall bring an end, and start anew. Come to the peak of Infinity Mountain. Those who make it will truly be worthy of my presence. Until then, farewell."

"Who's there?" Valentine called out as he searched for the source of the voice. He scanned his immediate surroundings and clicked his tongue in annoyance. It would appear as if some psychic pokemon was contacting him for a job. And they were testing him, sending him to the peak of Infinity Mountain of all places. Normally he would disregard something like this, brushing it off as a prank, but this voice... It held weight to it. A purpose. Something Valentine had sought for so long.

"Time to prepare I guess." Valentine pulled out a coin and began to roll it over his fingers. This was going to be one hell of an adventure.

I have no idea what to have Valentine do right now. He isn't exactly the type to just interact with someone out of the blue. Any suggestions?
