I'm interested in Lancer or Berserker. Had a cool idea for Lancer Altera.

Good times were had by all in the cafe, Rose in particular had fun evading Cait's efforts to catch her with a butterfly net, but all good things must eventually come to an end. With only one flyer on the board everyone took the same mission to the "world cast in shadows", once more diving headfirst into mystery and a world filled to the brim with adventure!

Rose was the first of her group to get their bearings, immediately snapping to attention at the sound of distant sirens. Police, the eternal enemy of every pirate extraordinaire. She turned to her group, getting a good idea of the resources she had to work with on this adventure. Kanbaru, her ever trusty second in command, Elijah, the muscle of the group to be sure, and Clair, a sneaky Rogue. Much more tolerable than the last rogue for sure, though her usefulness remained to be seen.

"Alright crew, we got work to do. We know nothing about this city other than that it's at least somewhat modern, which is both good and bad. Good because we can adjust quickly, bad because being a pirate and looting in the middle of the city is really hard." Of course the only thing on her mind was money. Adventure was what was most important in this cool Tower of adventure, and adventure usually lead to money! By that logic, money also lead to adventure!

"Now then, normally I would suggest I go scout around with my cool new Ryne card-" She quickly flashed the card proudly, smiling brightly at the sweet deal she got. "But I don't know if fairies are really normal around here, so I probably shouldn't. Yet. Any other ideas team?"

Something curious Kanbaru would note, Henry had returned to his card as soon as they left the bar. Seems he isn't interested in this city, or maybe he's still sulking about the tongue lashing he got from Cait.

Lin's group would consist of four people, same as the other group whether they knew it or not. Lin, the drunken monk, Akiko, the cat eared bard, Caprice, the sweet warlock, and most importantly of all, Takara. Who is for once, actually awake and beside Lin. The kid looked as sleepy as ever, but the fact that he was awake at all was a genuine miracle considering Lin had never actually seen him not asleep. Takara tugged on the hem of her shirt to get her attention, clutching onto his pillow with one arm and yawning. "Hey big sis? Do you know where we can get something to eat? I'm really hungry." The low rumble of his stomach would confirm his words, seems he skipped eating while he was at the bar in favor of sleeping.
This still open?

Rose lounged on top of a table lazily, smiling as she shuffled her cards about to admire their luster and sheen. Well mainly the one card with the fairy on it, she wasn't a big fan of this maggot woman on the other card. Not to say she wasn't happy with it's powers, it was very cool and all! Seemed to be the perfect card for tanking and frontlining in a fight... but did it have to be a maggot woman? Being a pirate meant that she was had to be cool with gross stuff sure, you can't be a prissy pirate when you're sailing the high seas... But maggots are just gross.

Best not to dwell on the Suparna card. Rose turned her attention to the Ryne card once more, smiling as she admired the pretty fairy. Now for most, this card would be objectively terrible considering she had traded in Solanne to get it. But Rose was a clever pirate, she recognized the capabilities of this card. It had no offensive capabilities whatsoever, but what it lacked in offense it more than made up for in raw utility. Incredibly fast, nearly indestructible, stealthy as all hell, this card had it all in terms of out of combat usage!

"Alright, let's do this!" Rose cried out as she sat up from the table, flourishing the Ryne card and focusing as she absorbed the fairy and became one with her. Ryne had little objection as she merged consciousness with the pirate, she was happy enough that she had actually been kept instead of getting immediately traded away! Just like Kanbaru, Rose too changed forms in the middle of the bar, yet her change went even deeper. Whereas Kanbaru merely changed outfits, got a little edgier, Rose had completely changed into a fairy! "WOAH! This is like, so cool!" Rose flew around the bar to observe the world from this new point of view, briefly buzzing around Kanbaru as she suffered what must be the worst headache known to man.

As Rose flew around the room, a face she didn't recognize showed up in the bar scored with myriad injuries. A lot of that going around today it seems. Regardless, it was only polite to go introduce herself to the new girl! Rose quickly fluttered over to Elijah with a smile, landing on her shoulder to sit down and talk. "Wassup muscle lady! Woah, this fairy has a weird vocabulary." Rose shook her head and continued. "Anyways, I'm Rose! Don't mind the fairy wings and stuff, just testing out a new card I just got!"

The energy in the room drained quickly when he was summoned, the Prince of Greed making his debut in the Tower as Kanbaru's card released it's prisoner. A dark red light emanated from the card as the demon floated above it, slowly descending to the floor with something akin to grace. He straightened out his suit quietly, adjusting his tie as he looked around the room with a critical eye. "So this is the situation then... How infuriating." Henry ground out as he glanced back at Kanbaru, appraising the owner of his card. He leaned in close to her, an aura of absolute death permeating him as he looked her in the eye. This was the absolute strongest the Nexus had to offer, a dimension of war and bloodshed that was perpetually reset to breed the greatest killers in the multiverse. This was the boy who had bathed in bloodshed and flourished from the second he was old enough to carry a blade.

Kanbaru of course knew none of this aside from what little she could glean from his memories, his mind an iron trap that let little of his past escape, but what she definitely would know is that this Demon wouldn't even hesitate to kill her should he find her lacking in any way. This staredown would last for a few moments, each one seeming to last an eternity as all eyes were on the duo. Then he sniffed her.

Whatever it was he seemed to smell was satisfactory as he leaned back and sighed, crossing his arms and speaking. "Alright then. From here on out, you are my servant, the arbiter of my will in this Tower. As such, I shall graciously allow you to use my powers. You may now thank me." Henry nodded to himself and grinned, satisfied with his judgement. And just like that, the room was back to normal, almost as if Henry hadn't been debating whether or not to bathe the room in Kanbaru's organs.

The efforts of Emerald greatly contributed to the continued survival of the Golden Guardians, her shields holding up fairly well under the assault of the zombie horde. Yet the horde was unending, for every zombie they slew yet another emerged from the thick fog to add to the continued onslaught. Soon enough the Golden Guardians would find themselves being pushed back by the assault teams, slowly pushing them to a certain building.

Thea's gunkata was impressive indeed, were any other player to even attempt the aggressive style that the Scourge deputy had adopted then they would have quickly found themselves in a shallow grave as the horde used their superhuman prowess to smash the fool. But Thea's aggressive style would eventually take a zombie out, no doubt giving her a great sense of satisfaction for out gunning the superior foe. But as the rest of the playerbase learned, taking down one zombie was simply not enough, as every one defeated was replaced by two more. The horde advanced onwards and pushed all factions to a central location, a certain building that Royal Ranger built his nest on.

As for that sniper and his cowardly spotter, he would soon find his position compromised as the first zombie reached the top of the building. A rotting hand grasped the ledge of the building near Ranger, the zombie's other hand grabbing at his sniper rifle to push it skyward, stopping any motion to shoot the zombie as it pulled itself onto the building.

As Black Cat retreated into the floors below, noping the fuck out as any sane person would do, he would hear several loud booms below as the first claymores Royal Ranger had planted were detonated by the ascending horde. Seems his sniping had caught their attention, as they were now advancing up the building from both within and without.

"And we're back! That's one successful adventure under our belts, eh Kanbaru?" The pirate threw an arm over Kanbaru's shoulders cheerfully, completely ignoring Akiko as she directed the duo towards the bar and sat them down next to Lin and Caprice. "It's a pleasure to meet you White Masks! As Cait said, we are Black Pentacle, and I am the leader of the Black Pentacle! You may call me Rose, the ultimate pirate captain!" With her usual bravado and flair, Rose bravely slid over to Cait... and started whispering.

"Alright so, I got a card I think you might be interested in. Basically, I can grow plants now. If you get me something to change my class into Warrior, I can get you so much catnip. We have a deal?" While all this was going on, Caprice and Lin would immediately notice an addition to their group in the form of the young lad who had "trapped" them in the world they had just narrowly escaped from. Takara was of course sleeping on his pillow, floating through the bar and occasionally bumping into and off of miscellaneous furniture.

After Rose slid away from Kanbaru to do less than legal deals, the Mage would suddenly find herself with a splitting headache as something roared inside her brain, demanding to be freed from it's prison. Around this time she would also notice her Henry card glowing with a white hot intensity, coupled with the card literally beginning to burn a hole through her pocket as the Serei Card shook violently.
Rin
The Gate, Alymere: Daybreak

His adrenaline rush run dry, Rin's mind was clear as he steadily moved forward to support the rest of the army. The Wyvern Rider had split off from the group entirely to focus in from the south, while the majority of their forces continued to advance from the east through the narrow gate. His focus shifted to Sumire briefly as she shouted over at a swordsman, supporting him with a dance and following closely behind. The swordsman burst forward with great fervor, striking at the two frontline bandits with the same ferocity Rin had shown moments prior.

Analyzing the rest of the battlefield quickly, Rin noted the situation of everyone within sight. The riding archer was sniping at someone just out of Rin's sight, the female mage was using her dark sorcery against someone peeking through the window. Another archer judging by the subtle glint of iron he saw as the setting sun reflected off the archer's nocked arrow. The other spearman was striking against the enemy archer with their own swordsman, who was also striking against the enemy swordsman with a vicious strike. The lord Alnard was preoccupied with taking down a different enemy archer in the south, while-

A flash of red caught his attention as the enemy mercenary struck out at one of theirs. This one was dangerous, more dangerous than everyone else anyways. He would be rewarded fr his efforts with a swift disemboweling as Rin shifted his stance, lowering himself closer to the ground and thrusting upwards at the Mercenary's stomach. As his organs spilled all over the ground, a blast of fire shot over Rin's head and slammed into the Mercenary's face, sending him to the ground screaming as he was burnt alive. Rin looked over at Alnard with confusion, wasn't he just-

William's smiling face greeted him from afar, his fiery hands a clear indicator of just who had fired that spell. Rin begrudgingly nodded in acknowledgement, noting that he was actually here. Would have to make sure he stayed away from Sumire, had expected the fool to stay back at the camp.

Utena Soriyu

The world of feathers and flesh around Utena went crazy as the world flipped around her, muffled explosions and crashes reverberating all around her, only to be drowned out by the powerful heartbeat of Terrorkeat. She could hear people in the distance yelling at the GMG to stand down, followed by a loud caw in response as the GMG probably prepared to fly away or something with her catch. Well she had a tracker on her if she did, so the MFF would be able to find her with little issue. Maybe she would turn it off for a bit though, just so she could spend some time with Terrorkeat-

Utena's thoughts were thrown into disarray as the world spun once more, she was feeling quite thankful that she decided to become a Aerial Diver. God knows no Tactical Agent would be able to withstand the raw g-forces that she was being put through in such rapid succession.

Her vision was swimming as she tried to get her bearings, rubbing her face into something soft as she kneeled on the floor and... oh hey she's touching the ground now. Weird. Someone was talking to her too, may as well respond.

"Utena Soriyu. And you are..." She finally managed to lift her head to look at the owner of the stomach she was currently staring at. Both of them blinked quietly, one in obvious embarrassment, the other in confusion as she put the pieces together. To her credit, Utena didn't immediately squeal, scream, or otherwise visibly react aside from a small nod as she got to her feet. Huh, she was taller than Terrorkeat.

Before the human Terrorkeat could run away, Utena grabbed her by the shoulders and leaned in close, faces inches away from each other as she stared the bird down seriously. "842-593-7774." She said with the utmost seriousness, nodding once again. Suddenly a blush sprung to her face as she let go of the bird and backed off. "M-my number. I wanna talk with you later."
Saffron Star

The Cobalt Crusaders who logged on today walked the streets cautiously, unsure of what dangers awaited them in the all new Undead Horde update. Saffron of course lead the group, never once showing a hint of fear as she kept an ear out for trouble. "That's the spirit Ranger! #@$! yeah!" She pumped her fist in excitement as the guild approached a ruined intersection. Her voice echoed through the empty streets, cutting through the silence like a hot knife through butter, or a scalpel through flesh.

Ranger would likely spot it before anyone else, the telltale glint of a sniper scope on the top floor of a building near the Crusaders. But by the time he spotted it, it was already too late. A cloud of dark smoke appeared in the middle of the intersection, five shambling figures dressed in tactical armor emerging from the cloud and approaching the Crusaders with a menacing aura. From what little of their faces could be glimpsed, the sunken in eyes and shriveled skin made it very clear that these were the zombies that would be their foes. "Huh. That's it? I was kinda expecting mo-" Whatever that Crusader had to say was quickly interrupted, as the zombies reached into their left palms and pulled out assault rifles from seemingly nothing.

Saffron's uncovered eye widened as the assault squad aimed in unison, throwing down a deployable wall and pulling a low level player who was close to her behind the cover. Everyone else would have to fend for themselves as the zombies began firing, tearing into the guild as they advanced. "Whoever brought cover, deploy right now! Everyone else, find cover!" She yelled as she began spinning up her minigun, emerging from cover and firing on the zombies to draw aggro. She cursed as the energy bullets pounded into them with little effect, she clearly hadn't considered the idea that they may be considered human targets. After taking a few bullets herself, she withdrew back into cover and opened up her menu, frantically searching for some sort of bullet based weapon she had stored away in her inventory.
