I do agree with Yandere's sentiment that words not wording workingly do be a problem this time of year.

Scratch that, place your bets on polymarket.

Looks like I'll be working on memorial day weekend. And no, this does not mean place any bets on polymarket.

due to a typo on my part I was nearly convinced I owed the IRS nearly $3000 in excess taxes this year.

-There will be delays in replies. Largely due to working overtime, voluntary obligations; other RPs and online-things may compete for my attention.

'Bout me:
Started RPing (badly) back in '05, mostly doing nation-RPs with an emphasis on technology and strategy, later edging out to character-espionage and military-tactics before doing "less serious" character roleplays that were outside of the 2005-2008 continuity.

That's when I went to Dead-Frontier, and found the RP community there, joined a clan, did some pretty good roleplays and pretty much loosened-up my online-personality. When the clan-leader decided to move her RPs here, most of the clan followed.

Took a course in technical-writing back in '08, so now I may sometimes use the semicolon correctly.

In 2010 I dusted off the old nation-RP continuity I had, doing a few hetelia-esque RP-shenanigans there..

RP-Habbits: I tend to geek-out on little technical-details, and sometimes infer how those details would impact the background of the roleplay. Great for world-building, not so great when you had a perfectly good plotline and I just MacGyver it off the rails (though I usually er to the side of amusement, sometimes it creates very grim side-stories).

M'kay, since Twombly is being dropped (actually, has already been left behind, just wasn't really mentioned) at his place...

And since Dee would probably be looking for whoever they can to blame...

Probably a good idea to give her a generous discount on whatever spoils he can't readily get rid of. Hopefully nobody will grill him over too hard regarding how he knew to look there, or whether he ran into anyone else.
@Mega Birb Actually, I was planning on having Warren head back to the Hole, leaving the shark to do as she pleases.

...

Twombly doesn't seem to have anything to do. Just say'n. @Mega Birb
Well, apparently Aeron doesn't want to bring a +1 to the cemetery.

So Twombly will be striking out on his own.

Who wants first dibbs at asking him a few questions about how he "just happened" to get his hands on a princely sum of firearms just as Dee's shipment was blown to hell?
Twombly and Aeron left Ansel to his things, as they went out the front of the bar, only to be intercepted by Sebastian, their designated-driver. The tiger was clearly not pleased about being left behind, as it likely would've been his head if anything happened to his boss. With a bit more than a huff, he took them both back to Aeron's palace, a budget chateau resort of sorts... for being in a place such as the dome.

"Home sweet home," Aeron said as she watched Sebastian storm off, "Anyway, I'm rather tired... Twombly did you want to stay the night or do you plan on heading back home? I can have the disgruntled tiger bring you back if you want considering the time of day and the type of people who are out and about." While she was fully aware the maned wolf was capable of taking care of himself, she still had every intention on making sure he got home safe, and not just because she liked him.

"Well, since you're offering..." Twombly began, scratching his chin thoughtfully, "I think it's best if I stayed. Sebastian probably isn't the best conversationalist, anyways." He joked, as he leaned into the hallway to watch Sebastian sulk off and hide in his room, and noted the many other rooms, and possibly more tenants.

"So, where would I be staying oh happy, tired and sleepy one?" He asked, moving back towards Aeron so she could lean on him.

Aeron made a face as she thought about what he had said before she simply yawned and leaned against him as he had moved closer. "You could stay in the spare room next to mine or just stay in mine like you usually do... since you have a tendency of finding your way into my bed for some strange reason or another," she replied as she started to make her way down the hall to the room all the way at the end.

As was expected, her room was the largest one and had a rather large bed, expensive looking furniture and a side area where she could entertain some guests if she chose not to venture out of her room for some reason. "Imma go... pajamas..." she muttered as she wandered to her dresser, pulled out what appeared to be a tank top and shorts, and went to her bathroom to change. Once done, she simply made her way to her bed and flopped down.

As Mr Robertson hadn't brought a change of clothes, the maned wolf had to make-do with what was made available and stripped down to his boxers, and took his sexist head-start to get under the bedcovers before the jackal could even shamble out of the bathroom, leaving him plenty of time to catch her as she fwumped into bed and rolled under the the covers, while also rolling under one of his mighty slender arms. "So what was that about meeting John tomorow?" He asked, knowing it probably wasn't a bright idea to pry at her private-life when she was this tired... partially because she couldn't help but to be honest, but mostly because saving such questions for when she wasn't all there was dishonest.

But in this case, he was indeed asking at the earliest possible opprotunity, and letting it wait was not an option. Not if he could be there with her for it. His current position precluded him from attending too many of her various 'meetings' for fear they'd associate him more directly with her group of loyal followers.

Considering how tired she was, she wasn't really expecting such a question from Twombly, and even then, it wasn't like she could lie to him as her sleep idled mind couldn't really think of anything believable at the moment. "Son's grave," she muttered, "Knew him... good boy... bright..." Aeron frowned for a moment before grumbling something and hiding her face in his chest, signifying she really didn't want to talk about it any further than the few words she had managed to get out. Despite there being no relation between herself and John's boy, she still felt rather upset about the child's death and didn't really talk about it as she did not feel it was her place.

Twombly nodded and gave Aeron a hug, no further questins were asked, no more words were said, aside from "I'll be there."
Its more like fifteen or twenty short posts all mashed together since individual posts would be a clutter and take forever.
Regardless, sorry about the text walls ;>x>

This is true, in that if they were individual posts, nearly entire pages of short posts filled with wordy fluff would bury the one or two you can and wanted to actually respond to.

Still, we do break collabs in half to allow people to throw a wrench into the collab and get involved.
Actually, considering Ansel's reaction to Twombly's... um... friendliness... he would more likely think Ansel was giving him the eye.
@Hawlin You've been nose-booped by Aeron.

@Foster
Ylva doesn't seem the type to take advice from a person like Kaite...

"Okay, so, vaht you do iz pull him in close..." Luciel begins, blushing at just the thought of being in a situation of getting his hands on John, "...ehn...ehrm..."
Ylva rolls and then narrows her eyes, "This is bullshit. Why don't you just go on a date with him, at this rate"
Luciel's ears perk up. o///o;

Cue a cut to Ansel asking Twombly for advice on how to get John's attention and live to tell about it.
ANYWAYS

Should Aeron chaparone Ylva? And should she wear a dress so she can set a [good] example for the wolf? Or are we just going to let her flop around with John like a saber-toothed shark out of water?

I mean, she could try emulating or getting advice from Katie.
We can do a hit on Sacha.

Go out with a bang, rather than a whimper.
