I do agree with Yandere's sentiment that words not wording workingly do be a problem this time of year.

Scratch that, place your bets on polymarket.

Looks like I'll be working on memorial day weekend. And no, this does not mean place any bets on polymarket.

due to a typo on my part I was nearly convinced I owed the IRS nearly $3000 in excess taxes this year.

Bio

-There will be delays in replies. Largely due to working overtime, voluntary obligations; other RPs and online-things may compete for my attention.

'Bout me:
Started RPing (badly) back in '05, mostly doing nation-RPs with an emphasis on technology and strategy, later edging out to character-espionage and military-tactics before doing "less serious" character roleplays that were outside of the 2005-2008 continuity.

That's when I went to Dead-Frontier, and found the RP community there, joined a clan, did some pretty good roleplays and pretty much loosened-up my online-personality. When the clan-leader decided to move her RPs here, most of the clan followed.

Took a course in technical-writing back in '08, so now I may sometimes use the semicolon correctly.

In 2010 I dusted off the old nation-RP continuity I had, doing a few hetelia-esque RP-shenanigans there..

RP-Habbits: I tend to geek-out on little technical-details, and sometimes infer how those details would impact the background of the roleplay. Great for world-building, not so great when you had a perfectly good plotline and I just MacGyver it off the rails (though I usually er to the side of amusement, sometimes it creates very grim side-stories).

If you bring a Grakata, you better make sure you have loads of spare magazines as an ability....or spare Grakatas. May just be better to replace them entirely and bludgeon people with empty cheese graters.

Most firefights (assaults/meeting-engagements) are generally over within five minutes (something about that being the amount of time it generally takes for the "winning" side to sieze initiative and utter steamroll through the enemy's positions).
-If one side hasn't siezed the other's position in that time, congrats, you're both either pinned-down or too cozy as a camper in your fortified position.

Besides, the short range bullet-spammers are a close-in shock-and-awe weapon like P. Chan. Most time is actually spent jockeying for better shooting-positions w/o making yourself a suicidally easy target.

In short, full auto is something best for when you find a "fish in a barrel"/"Too many bad guys in the open to count" moment, and don't want to give them the opprotunity to find cover.
Or are attachments purchased via an in-game economy that is surprisingly so complicated it's best not to think too much about it?

Er... I mean...

GRAKATA!

... that's not a Grakata, but I still want.
-Technically it's a flamethrower, since it has minimal blast effect, but ridiculous amounts of fire.. although explosive and buckshot are available.
Because Clem can use explosives, now.

Here, have some "translated" Finnish gibberish.
(Someone with no life counted out that the intro is exactly 31 "Na"s)
-I'd have prefered Don't lose your way, @Jurassic Weeb

But, since you made me cringe at nostalgiac tunes, I'll do likewise for you:
Fly like an Eagle for @Raptra

Briza, you get yuudachi poi. That or this little ditty.

Perhaps that's for the best. :)

-I prefer to invite people to either make snow-angels or carve their name into it with their foot.

Depends on what kind of snow it is and how much time I have to sit around and relax.

But right now I'll need to wait for colder weather.
It's hard for people to tell when I'm telling a joke in poor taste, or actually being serious.
