I do agree with Yandere's sentiment that words not wording workingly do be a problem this time of year.

Looks like I'll be working on memorial day weekend. And no, this does not mean place any bets on polymarket.

due to a typo on my part I was nearly convinced I owed the IRS nearly $3000 in excess taxes this year.

-There will be delays in replies. Largely due to working overtime, voluntary obligations; other RPs and online-things may compete for my attention.

'Bout me:
Started RPing (badly) back in '05, mostly doing nation-RPs with an emphasis on technology and strategy, later edging out to character-espionage and military-tactics before doing "less serious" character roleplays that were outside of the 2005-2008 continuity.

That's when I went to Dead-Frontier, and found the RP community there, joined a clan, did some pretty good roleplays and pretty much loosened-up my online-personality. When the clan-leader decided to move her RPs here, most of the clan followed.

Took a course in technical-writing back in '08, so now I may sometimes use the semicolon correctly.

In 2010 I dusted off the old nation-RP continuity I had, doing a few hetelia-esque RP-shenanigans there..

RP-Habbits: I tend to geek-out on little technical-details, and sometimes infer how those details would impact the background of the roleplay. Great for world-building, not so great when you had a perfectly good plotline and I just MacGyver it off the rails (though I usually er to the side of amusement, sometimes it creates very grim side-stories).

Well, Godzilla has gotten faster (due to no longer being constrained to an overworked actor in a ponderously heavy rubber suit), just not too inclined to dig, climb, jump, or swim unless he really has to.
-But usually he takes the Dalek approach to stairs.

Speaking of really needing to do things, there's some people I've got to nudge.
Well, before '01, Zilla Jr. was good as it got; making Zilla Godzilla's proto-mum (a necessary evil in movie-making back then was incrementally introducing a franchise in bite-sized easily defeated chunks).
-To its credit, it did manage to hit the right notes where and when it had to. And as a series, expectations weren't "blow me away or this is trash", it actually performed slightly better than expected. Just not good enought to defeat Ash's ridiculously OP Pikachu.

Although I don't think we'll see a nimble ninja-godzilla again anytime soon. The '98 movie showed what could've been, while simultaniously poisoning the well with nerfed abilities and an anticlimatic death-confirmation.

Although, even the original Godzilla got killed in his first movie too. In that direct comparison, the '98 version did better in terms of presentation up to a very specific point in the film.
@Lmpkio
I'd probably get my tongue carved out for mentioning the '98 Godzilla movie in a positive manner.

Ironic that the king of monsters TV series got killed by pocket-sized monsters.

That depends on collective maturity.

Most of the people may have come to the realization that Titania is friend and not foe.
>But to suddenly drop a CSAR-team expecting a hot extraction in with orbital bombardment on standby?

Emotional tensions can cause many irrational things to happen extremely quickly at a critical deciding-point.
>Especially if this Elian Gonzalez has atomic fire breath.

There were a few hostage/prisoner rescue attempts back in the 1970s that were conducted on the wrong prison-camps/wrong-islands that were amongst the most costly rescue-missions in US history at that time (excl. BAT-21).
<Snipped quote by Foster>

So Im guessing Ill have to wait till the mission starts or whats the deal?

Pretty much your character is on-hold for a bit in order to fit her being worshipped as a diety by an entire planet into the story.

From which there are two ways of looking at how that plays out.

At one perspective, a ship full of monster-girls crash. There are few survivors. One of which being your character or one of her parents.
-The locals find the derelict wreck and eventually fix a broken distress-beacon causing a somewhat late rescue to finally arrive for a very confused child.

At another perspective, a deity fell from the heavens as their protector, and was worshipped accordingly. Only for her vengeful siblings to come down and take her away from them.

This of course leaves a moral dilemna of what to do with the local population. The academy's resources are finite, so trying to instantly slingshot their tech is so costly as to be a no-go. But on the other hand, focibly enslaving their kind or strip-mining the planet by force for resources is way more trouble than it should be worth.

Likewise there are additional challenges with leaving Titania to her surragate caretakers, or trying to take her from them.

Probably not a good time for the academy of monster-girls to wonder if they're the baddies.
