@Framing A Moose I don't understand. Why have a character that doesn't fit the plot? The plot interested you enough to join why not stick to it? I don't mine small divergence but your idea seems like a big separation. What you want is the opposite of the plot

I got interested because I thought A.I. Mates was a play on words for "Aye aye, mate!", and thought it was robot pirates. When I figured out it wasn't and I mentioned my mistake, people told me that I should just make a pirate character, so I did. So it wasn't the plot that interested me, it was the thought of what I and others could do to it to make it better and more creative. But if you wanna stick to predetermined relationships and overdone robotXhuman theme with not even the smallest dash of creativity, then I suppose I best be going. If you wanna spice things up a bit and let me do as I'm planning for my character, then I'll stay.

Yes, but the plot should be loose. It should be a general direction rather than an exact path. Now, how about we do the rehabilitation thing, and she's put there forcefully by the people in charge because she's a criminal. She's reprogrammed to want to be romantically involved, buts he wouldn't act on those feelings (at least at first) because she knows they're not her own feelings.

So I was planning on Inno's parasol be a catalyst for her. So without it, her abilities would be less controlled. It'd be like a wizard's staff or wand in a way. So my question is how that would work with the channeled form. Would Pamela get the parasol?

Aegis War [Chapter One - Identity]

All right; so I haven't heard much from DJ and Zran gave us the green light to go ahead and he'll join when he gets around to it. Everyone is free to post their introductions at this time in the IC.

Think of your character being depowered until he or she is able to remember his or her name, which will awaken their powers. BUT, that won't happen until nearing the end of this chapter.

All characters should wake up, lah-dee-dah through the in-processing, and get some grub in the cafeteria. I highly encourage everyone to try and interact. Sit near each other, create small talk in line, just go ahead and get your feet wet.

No sitting in the shadows, sitting in the table way in the back, as far as you all know you're all in the same boat. Once everyone has posted, I'll give you guys room to chit-chat and small talk, and then I'll post the Aegis Director and all the other important people. They will brief you more about what you guys don't currently know. You see that? I was holding off on the rest of the game info so that you guys can learn about it in-game. So these briefs are actually important. ;D

But yeah, overall, enjoy the game and make what you can of it. I can only do so much. Once you guys start making friends with each other, I recommend using the OOC to write up relations.

Some of you will be friends, rivals, and hopefully not enemies. :)
