What's the timeline for Equestria? Starting from the moment the Elements of harmony met and saved the kingdom from Nightmare Moon up to the present, can you note the important events (you can skip the show's events, it's only necessary to know what happened that's non-canon) and the rough amount of time that's passed until the present?

Also, are human characters allowed? And another thing, are the Changelings and Equestrians going to be having First Contact with the Galactic Civilizations or are the Changelings already part of the GC?

I'm not going to control another's NPCs, but I surely will control ones I make. So if you need a NPC made, just let me know and I'll create it. I've got a few planned for my character's story already, after all.

Shouldn't we all know the rough timeline of events that will happen IC? That way, if one of us disappears, we can easily move the IC along without fearing that we drew the plot too far away from its original destination.

Personality:
Ken'Koris is a very outgoing and sociable Quarian, always looking for the right moment to speak with others and make new friends, often quickly warming up to them and treating them like family just after a few weeks of knowing them. He attacks problems head-on, with very little thought as to the consequences of his actions in the long run, which, when he's got someone to keep him in check, is not a considerable problem. His profession has many times led him to dangerous places and many near-death situations, but he's always come out on top given to his perseverance and courage.

Biography:
Born to a family of stable position in the Homeworld due to their status as renowned mechanics, Ken'Koris always had whatever it was he needed. Brought up and educated to become the next big mechanic, Ken never really liked the dull and uninteresting long hours of tinkering with machines- Beings that didn't even speak or think.

The prospects of having such a boring life in the future always turned Ken off, and he often managed to find ways to get himself into trouble- Fun trouble. Exploring, petting unknown creatures, disturbing swarms of insects. The kind of trouble that a kid could cause to have fun in a place where isolation from the Galaxy was the norm. So the years passed with Ken banding up with other kids to explore and play while he was free, and studying boring subjects while he was at home. Eventually, at the age of fifteen, Ken decided to let his parents know of his decision. He'd told them that he'd join the Quarian Navy. Not because of any ideal, but because through all of his life, he had seen some dangers in his Homeworld. Dangers that had to be controlled if they would have a chance at living in peace.

But his wish was denied. His parents, worried about his safety, prevented him from joining the army, crushing his dreams for the first time. A year passed, with Ken's resentment growing each day. When his sixteenth birthday came, he was fed up. Tired of being forced to study something he didn't even like, he escaped, and with the help of one of his friends, he managed to get a pass off-world in a not very trustworthy ship. The ship moved for days, stopping only when it needed to refuel or resupply in one or another pirate station.

Eventually he ended up in the Citadel, landing a job with a very shady man. The job was simple. He would stand in front of doors, carrying a pistol and pretending to protect whatever was behind. Surely, he never actually knew what was behind the doors, but it was a job that fed him and allowed him to rent a place. A meagre living, poor and barely hygienic enough to not die of exposure... But it was a living nonetheless.

it was in the Citadel that he came into contact with Galactic History, after going to a museum and finding out about Tali'Zorah and Sheppard, and the many other crew members that helped save the Galaxy all those years ago. From that moment, he did whatever he could to get enough credits to start a small collection of relics of the Reaper Invasion and Sheppard's bravery. Eventually they were the only possessions he had that he felt he was connected to.

Months passed and everything was fine until one fateful day. He heard screaming from behind the doors. Naturally, he was scared, and after minutes of hearing the screams, when his partner went off into the restroom, he left.

He was quick to contact his few friends and get a passage off the Citadel with whatever credits he had left, and returned to the Homeworld.

It was a year after his original escape and once he arrived without meeting his parents and never planning to, he was gladly accepted into the navy. He went through boot camp, medicine classes, three years of outstanding service in field of Search & Destroy and Reconnaissance and two years in Spec Ops training followed by three more years of outstanding field service as an Special Operative.

His service gathered the attention of the Citadel Council, and he was discreetly offered to be recruited into the ranks of the Spectres. He didn't waste a second in accepting the offer.

I think it's better to start in something dynamic. You know, instead of having to go through the pain and risk of a whole IC day of awkward introductions, we could start at first contact or at first briefing.
