Coco Bean

The story was... Bloody, she guessed was the correct word for it. Ssarak was an interesting lizard man, Coco realized. Such a past only made him look like a huge, juicy target for questioning--But she had learned things, in her stay at the College. One of them was that fleshlings weren't so open to questions, and that sometimes it was best to shut up, even if only for a few minutes, to let the fleshling calm down. She listened to the suggestions, her leaves quivering each time someone gave an idea, until Ssarak spoke her own name, bringing her up to a straight sitting position.

"I can do that. Getting to know her would be great. I know a few persons who speak of her prowess in battle at the demon attack. I'm sure I can find something out." Her tone was serious. It sounded somewhat chipper still, but the contrast was noticeable. "This whole meeting is secret, right? I won't mention any of this to Dirssi when I speak to her."

Bringing a hand up to her cheek, Coco turned towards Annabeth, tiny wrinkles forming around her nostrils for a split second. She still smelled like roses. "I'll need someone to come into the gym with a really pretty scent after a while, okay?" That way, Coco wouldn't have to worry about speaking to Dirssi for too long.
Omfg dat avatar redhead's goggles are so cool.

In other news: Free, Alaira must live! Coco shall never forgive Alaira for dying without Coco knowing.
Me neither, that's like the Forgotten Land, bro.
Which chatroom? xD
whoops

I can't remember which group Liam is with--He was with the Roc group, who are the ones with him?
Grey just made Coco speak! I love it how Coco cares so little about the bodies and guts, only that they smell gross and feel weird when stepped on. Maybe if she was told these were human bodies instead of animals... She really can't tell the difference, it all smells too bad, and the cuts and dismemberment don't help her recognize their forms via echo location.

"Me?"

In surprise, her leaves puffed out and her face scrunched up. The smell, the feeling of having stepped on fleshling parts and the sounds of flames licking at the surfaces of ruined houses were... Oddly interesting. Still gross, mainly because she knew most fleshlings were nice creatures, and to be stepping on their guts was disconcerting.

Confused, interested and overall feeling sick, Coco wielded her spear--And then flicked the pointy metal end. The high sound was enough for her to know what she was up against. The fleshling was clearly not fully developed, by the sound of its voice and the faintest 'baby-smell' that it had.

"Hey, my name's Coco Bean. You can call me Coco. I'm a Foreas. I smell like chocolate, but that doesn't mean you can eat me," Having started her introduction, Coco moved a few steps forward, to the front of the group as she leaned her head up towards the window she heard the teenager's voice come from, "who are you? Are you a human? I think you are, but you're not wearing any perfume. Annabeth wears a perfume that smells like roses, and it's magnificent."

Leaves quivered, as if not knowing what to do. "Why are there so many bodies scattered around? They smell gross. I think I stepped on some of them, too."

She then turned around to face Grey and whispered, "I honestly have no idea what to say to a King to make him calm down, Grey. I've never met a King before."
Working on a post--It'll be up tonight.

And I lol'd at the title of worst decision maker being bestowed to Alaira. Damn you, Alaira! Now Coco will have competition!
Yeah, Liam hasn't been doing so well. He's gotten little to no tail at the College! And he's just learning of the way humans do things, to top it off.

Poor guy, I pity him xD
Liam

'A roc? What is a roc, even?'

Catching a sigh in his throat just before it escaped, Liam kept silent until Lucillia finished her briefing. It was an easy decision, for him. It had been a while after the last hunt and he really needed to hunt something, even if it sounded somewhat dangerous. Liam had tackled dangerous beasts before.

The cactus had withered, somehow. Between going out to Lucillia's office and coming back to his own dorm, it had died. Not even with his own herbamancy could he bring it back up. It was gone. But that was the least of his worries right now. Sure, that had been a pet that cost him some money, but he cared little about coin. He cared much more about his clothing, one of the things that he spent most of his coin on. He packed some varied clothes into a couple messenger packs, packs which he slung over his head and onto both his shoulders. Minutes later, Liam walked out of the room. His thin, porous clothing wrinkled under the added weight of the packs.

It wasn't very protective clothing, he admitted. In his defense, he packed thicker, warmer clothing, he'd tell himself, in case their destination felt cold enough for his fur to not provide enough insulation.

Then he reached the stables. It was uncomfortable, to be honest, to be around all these people. Hairless for the most part, like everything else in the College. He missed home. Having no way of going back yet, he knew that he'd have to grow accustomed to the humans' customs and cultures. At least, in order to be able to find a woman who'd spend some time with him.

The moment he jumped into the wagon, he was brought out of his introspection, and he looked around. He spared a few waves here and there where it was due, but shared very little words, and even less small talk.

It would have been great if even one of his friends was there with him.
