I'm not quite sure I understand what you're trying to say in that second sentence- You want to do what in PMs? Political affairs? Elise is not a politician :p

That's cool, I'm just clearing it up as I've had many problems in the past regarding the horrible act of meta-gaming, and I don't want to have such situations repeated again.

I'm worried of meta gaming now. Just because someone OOC is known to be working for the other side doesn't mean that all characters will magically be suspicious and aware something is not right with the character. So far, I've not read about anyone being counter-intelligence or a spy sniffer. Let's keep meta gaming to a minimum, and the RP will go along awesomely :p

Also, if she's not trusted at first, better that nobody is trusted at first, right? Because no one else knows her backstory, and for all they know, her french accent is actually Canadian!

Not yet. The last order they received was to establish themselves in the military. The group never got to the point of relaying any kind of information back to France. So Elise's just trying to contact her group in order to get the next set of orders as quickly as possible.

So, I've refined the idea:

Elise is in Black Ops, a full team of experienced soldiers forming a team of high expertise as they've been tasked with passing off as a NUA squadron. They've infiltrated the comms, gotten IDs, done everything to be as normal as possible, until another Black Ops group attacks their safehouse. Shoot up the place, pursue the escaping Operatives...

That other team would be a NUA one. Elise of course, escapes and survives until she ends up with the main group, still trying to establish contact with her Black Ops Team.

She might not ask any questions, but the fact that she was a Black Operative means that she knows the dirty rags. Could mean that they periodically eradicate the Operatives, to control the risk of leaked information.

And truth is, Elise will probably never tell the characters any of the dirty secrets of France, even after being quietly betrayed and exiled. If she did, they'd probably actively look for her, instead of just being happy she disappeared.
