"Yui. Yui! Please, slow down, there is no rush, is there?" called the comforting voice of an old lady.

"Grandma, it's fine...I finished it, I swear." Yui said of her homework while still putting away her school books in her school bag. She then amde her way to the back door.

"This again... Yui, don't you want to go see your friends instead?" The Grandmother said from her rocking chair, putting down the knitting threads on her laps. Her voice held more worry and care for her adoptive daughter than judgement.

"Grandma..." the girl said as she pulled a chair closer to sit on and put her exterior shoes on, going on; "I told you, the garden is like a friend. It needs company too, you know - and I like the plants."

As she was about to open the door, Yui remembered something and ran over to her grandmother to give her a peck on the cheek, which immediately not only erased the old woman's doubts but gave her a smile. "Well, tell them hi for me then, alright?"

"Will do!" she said with a smile as she closed the door behind her. It was all true of course, Yui loved this garden and she loved taking care of it but tonight was not the reason why she left. Tonight, she was on duty with the others. Fortunately, she and her grandmother lived in the Nerima Ward. Yui loved it. In the heart of the big city, she would have very little greenery but here, on the edge of the ward, it was perfect. Their back yard, while small, was almost entirely covered in plants of all kind. There was a tall tree near the corner, and the rest were very healthy flowers and plants. Yui made herself a path that led behind the tree, hidden behind bushes and the fence. This was were it usually happened for it.

With this, Yui's appearance changed completely as a bright light engulfed her for a few seconds. Her hair grew and changed to an almost white color and her eyes turned a bright green. Her clothing became a beautiful dress and she was now holding a giant bellflower with a pure white bulb as a sort of staff. Yui loved saying those words as it filled her with jolly thoughts and reminded her of what she now was, even though it made her blush a little bit, still not being used to it. Yui jumped in the air and skipped through the air, a translucent daisy appearing three times under her feet like a ripple in water, until she reached the roof of her house where she let here Bellflower rest against her side to cup both hands on each side of her head to look ahead.

Moments Later...

@Shiyonichi

Yui had made her way further away form her house now, but still had not find any Shades. It was a good thing, as it meant there wasn't too much negativity flying around. Until she...literally saw negativity flying around. In the form of a Bat. Carrying what seemed to be a little critter needing rescue. Yui, a determined look on her face, waited for the unaware Shade to fly closer before - but she stopped.

"Pick on someone your own size!"

The voice came from a nearby girl that Yui had probably missed arriving on the scene. She looked like a Ghost, but even Yui knew she was a Magical Girl - just like herself. "Woah..." Yui was kind of impressed by the attack but also the assured way with which the girl threw herself in battle. Snapping out of it, Yui summoned forth her own attack.

"Rose: Passion!"

Two thorny roses sprouted out of the ground beside her, growing faster and faster until they launched themselves towards the shade. Yui's intension was to catch the Shade in a pincer attack between her plants and Ukiko's attack.
Hello !
I'd like to post this attempt at a character. This is what I came up with, @Rune_Alchemist. :)

EDIT; Quick Edit, as I forgot to add a part in the History that links him to the Queen. I need to go, so this is a WIP for now. T_T

Niall Ulchabhán

23 years of age, Male

History
Niall has appeared a few years ago out of seemingly thin air. As the land fell into dark times and people were needed to step up, he took up arms and oaths to fulfill and set out through the land as a Vagrant Knight, with no real titles or possession safe on his person. He would travel to land to help villagers and people in need and quickly made sort of a name for himself as a wandering, local folk hero of some sort. No one could ever see his face for two reason; he almost exclusively traveled and did his work at night and he also almost never removed his helmet. This is what earned him his nickname; The Owl Knight.

Anything else

Niall was raised by benevolent but secretive Tuathas. They did not tell him much of how he came under their care but he believes, from what he heard, that they found him lost and alone in the woods during a stormy night. His parents may have been set upon or abandoned him, it isn't known. They raised him to value pacifism and to resort to violence as a last resort. They taught him about his people and what he was and the History of this land, and of course - they taught him to fight. Not because they believed in it, but because they knew that he was a Human and could not stay on Mount Sliabh indefinitely. Not being able, or wanting, to alter his direct body with enchantments, the Tuathas created a familiar for Niall. An Owl, Gwdihw, a magical creation that had fey properties and was linked directly to Niall through a powerful magical link. It was like an extension of his person, and grants him certain abilities. They also gifted him with his signature helmet and the Lance he uses in combat, The Eye of Night.

Abilities

Niall is a gifted fighter in general, but what sets him apart is his training and magical abilities gained through his time with the Tuathas. Niall attack most often from the Dark, taking his targets at a disadvantage, and strike with extreme speed and precision.

Gwdihw, his pet owl familiar who can always be found near Niall. Through it, Niall is gifted multiple magical and fantastical abilities that aid him in his quest.

Owl Accuracy: Niall is gifted with augmented visual prowess. He can see in the night like a predatory bird, and in the day or
night he can strike with extreme precision and at high speed.

The Eye of Night: The Owl Knight can bring forth from his lance a magic that would resemble some sort of mist, albeit very
dark, that would stretch over a certain area and simulate a moonless night.

Wind Magic: The ability that is the centerpiece of Niall's combat style, and used in conjecture with the others. He can use
Wind Magic to to grant himself greater speed and jump higher and further. His enemies could easily think he can levitate or fly, but
they would be wrong.
Yes. Good. One by one they all will fall. (in age)
@Rune_Alchemist I did think about it when I read your character.
Rune, always bullying. :P
Thanks!
I'm really glad. :)

@LuckyBlackCat I've been accepted ! :D
Hello!
I'm coming out of the woodwork because I've spotted this RP only very late in it's development, but if I can I'd like to attempt it. :)
I know you're already pretty full, but I thought what the hell, creating characters is fun anyway!

Tomi trying to make new friends - with a rough start with Skarnskeek, showing just how little attention she's got. :P

For the most part Roku kept to herself during the group's travel to the temple. She might have had to occasionally fend off a Manomo or two as well as ignore a few comments, though. One in particular seemed to have a hard time not staring, but the Ochimusha was glad she never actually spoke to her directly. As for herself, Roku kept in close proximity of Takeshi mostly while not being in his direct bubble. She was torn between wanting to serve him, but having a hard time coming to term with what she was. Not just the fact she was a monster now, but also the changes in her mind. Impulses and thoughts that so far seemed intrusive and confusing to her. Ever the stoic, though, it was doubtful anyone would notice her doubts.

When all was said and done and Takeshi had spoken to them about his immediate objectives, Roku stepped up to him. "My Lord, I cannot let you undertake such a task on your own. Let me accompany you and save this...friend of yours." Roku was certain that her desire to protect Takeshi was the prevalent reason she proposed to guard him. If there was a second... underlying reason for her to follow him, she was not yet aware.

As for Tomi, after having been freed of the Cake's and Nylaa's influence she went back to being her usual self around camp; napping, messing around and annoying Shizuka mostly. Maybe once or twice she would've taken flight and come back a few hours later to either stretch herself or hunt for food. Being a lazy Dragon was a thing, but instincts were instincts and one couldn't just toss them aside. Speaking of which, her instinct triggered something in her when she saw the newcomer. That Roku girl struck something in Tomi that she couldn't explain exactly - she seemed familiar. Though not enough to go out of her way to speak with her, especially since she seemed particularly cold (pun intended).

When they had moved in to their new base and Takeshi made his little speech, Tomi wasn't especially thrilled to go hunt for people that would probably want to kill them. From up on the branch of a nearby tree where she was laying, Tomi looked around. Out of all the group, three caught her attention; Lunatea, Skarsneek and Samael. She thought she saw them generally be around one another, but more importantly they seemed more on the quiet side. It seemed like they had the most chances of avoiding fighting in general and allowing her to have a nice, relax mission.

"Don't go skirt-chasing then."

"He won't!"
Gringor would hear Tomi chirp in as she landed, not too strongly this time, beside Skarsneek. She proceeded to stand with all her height while patting the goblin's head and proclaiming; "Because I'll be watching him."

"I'm sure you won't mind if I join you, right hmm...Scar Sneak?" she said, almost revealing just how aloof and inattentive she was at times - as if it was not common knowledge already. "Wait..." Tomi said as she crouched beside the Goblin as if he was a small child.

"You're a... male?"
