Hm...

Well, I had to look up the class in question, but, well...

I'd probably say no to that because it conflicts with the nature of magic that I've set up, to be honest. Or, well, magic as it stands in the situation of the original continent, at least.
We're still open for the moment, yes. And... Well, it depends on what you mean by 'shaman'.
@Hayazo: Um... About five feet in length or so, bordering six.
@NiceScourge: Feels like mentioning depression rather than suicide might've been better, but hey, who am I to judge writing style.

But hey, other than that minor thing (her life really sounds like a tragedy, though, ngl) it's good to go. Accepted.

We DO need more posts, though.
Tiral gave a slight nod towards Ian, his body still aching like it had been run through by a bolt of lightning. Which, to be fair, it just had been, so there was still a considerable amount of pain that he had to deal with. With his mana almost gone right now, even standing up straight was a bit of a chore. Even so, with the captain's orders, he would have to give a report... Even with his current situation, there would be no excuses if he didn't.
...
Well, assuming the orders would be brought down with a firm hand, at least. He wasn't incapacitated unlike Marianne, after all, so that was one less excuse to pull.

Before dragging his body upright, the ever-strange doctor came over to evaluate the damage, with two of the knights who had been involved with the fight with whatever the hell Marianne had just run through with her magic following suit (albeit from the opposite direction). They woke her up in short order, to which Tiral shook his head in disapproval. Regenerating her mana would probably have gone better if she wasn't exerting herself, so at the moment she wasn't much better off than him. Well, minus the shock and all that.

With that out of the way, Tiral gritted his teeth and got to his feet unsteadily as he used the frozen log for support. Step by step, he brought himself over to the Captain's position, where he attempted to put on a brave face before nodding.

"Tiral Yevan reporting. No casualties on the southern flank. Enemy casualties, uncounted."

That was all he could muster before falling to one knee, his face contorted in pain.

"Damn... This is why I really don't like electricity..."
Masaru's spirit seemed to brighten as more supplies were brought out of the wreckage; after all, this much was already a miracle and a half on its own. Turk's return with a bunch of fish, too, was certainly something to be pleased about. But at the same time, though...

Well, the grains they had recovered were probably meant to be sown into the ground like the kitsune had mentioned earlier. In essence, everything they had here was for the future, which meant that the issue right now was finding a source of food that didn't consist of grains. The fish, at least, was a start, but...

"Huh? Oh, shoot. That's... Unpleasant."

There was some sort of snakelike creature lying off in one of the darker corners of the room, glaring at him. While it only seemed to have just been awakened, Masaru frowned and shook his head before cautiously glancing at the creature, what it was guarding, and the rest of the people salvaging.

"A snake...? I think that's a snake. Crap. Hope it ain't poisonous. Guys! Careful over here!"

With a bit of squinting, Masaru could make out the slightest indication of what the snake was sitting on--a box of... Wait, was that labeled 'hardtack'?
Well, admittedly, that tasted pretty damn horrible, but workable food was, in fact, workable food. A crate of that size, if rationed properly, could last for a day or two... But hey, better than nothing!

"Anyone got, like... Something to kill this thing? Or at least scare it off? I'm pretty sure we don't want to risk poison right now, y'know?"
@NiceScourge: Luckily, we're not yet in a position where signups are closed. But let's see here...

Well, putting aside the expy aspect of it all...
As I love saying, loading up magic and strength is... Not a good idea. Especially when the strength factor is considerably higher than a normal human's, as is stated. Merging with shadows already has a chance to be broken, especially if in a situation where there's shade EVERYWHERE; you've slated this as a low-level spell, mind you, which alone breaks the situation pretty hard. But...
Yeahno, what really offs me is the aspect of "I'm going to cannibalize people because reasons!" and the fact that the dude GETS A DAMN PARDON FOR IT. You don't pardon a guy that rips apart one of your best warriors in any fashion, mainly because that calls the leader's logic into question. Also, by no means (or, well, unless there was a very unlikely situation) would anyone be willing to cooperate if they knew that an ally might be caught eating the flesh of a compatriot, ESPECIALLY if they were caught doing something similar before. To add to that, a group member going full bloodlust-mode in a situation where not sleeping might be a thing? You'd be outta there in a flash. Furthermore, this journey is being treated as a 'punishment' so that the person may be pardoned of their crimes. It's not logical to send a criminal (or someone who may be considered one) on a voyage where the intent is to set up good relations with the nations currently on the continent) and expect no not receive backlash. The people that are going are representatives of their nations, and sending what many would perceive as a criminal is a self-destructive move that can only end in disaster.

The people that would've been sent on the voyage would have to be people that can cooperate, not ones that people would have an immensely difficult time trusting. Given the lore you gave as well, it's stated that he is the "first-ever civil wendigo", which leads me to believe that the rumors you stated near the top, even if they may not be true (but given your statements, probably apply here as well), would cause EVERYONE to be wary.

Big "no" on my part. Sorry, man, but there are too many inherent issues with the character lore and situation that I cannot ignore.
Huh, okay. I would've assumed magic worked like using charge on a battery. You know, best to not exhaust everything and drop it to like maybe 15% before recharging. Hit zero, and you're rip.

Alternatively, just be more efficient in mana consumption. Much easier than knocking yourself out every few hours.
<Snipped quote by harinezumikouken>

Make them keep casting until they collapse. Then wake them up and push them some more. Repeat, with necessary breaks, until they're sufficient. :T

I have a very bad feeling that'd cause burnout instead and lock them out of magic.
Why force the mage to gain tank stats, though? It's more efficient to maximize how many spells they can fling in a fight instead.
...
aka dump everything into MAG and sub AGI. Stamina and strength are dump stats.
