I've never actually seen someone be ninja'd three times in a row. You're either very lucky or very UNlucky. owo;;
@Savo: Um... About that...

:3c

That aside, I've gotten far too used to puns. Thanks, Phreak.

Edit: Well, uh... Hum. This is awkward lol.
Masaru glanced at the kitsune girl and the garuda went off to go handle the snake without him, a decision that he much preferred to the alternative of 'throw punches and hope the snake sucks at dodging'. Nodding his head as he moved aside for those two, the oni nodded his head and headed out to check the final supply count. For the most part, aside from that crate of hardtack (assuming it still HAD any left inside), there was wheat, soybeans, rice, and barley, as stated earlier... And that gem thing that elf girl was hoarding to herself. Granted, he never really got magic, but if it helped her, well, all the better.

Turk's return with a bit of fish brought a smile to his face; his survival in and of itself was a miracle, considering that he could catch fish as he did. Every little bit of food helped, after all.

"Alright, alright, this is good. Liking how things are turning out; not everything's gone, so we've got a fighting chance!" he shouted, psyching himself up before noticing the elf girl walking over to and talking to what seemed to be... A pile of boards?
...
No, wait. It was moving. Someone under it?

Curious, Masaru strode over to see what the cause was, only to find that it was a human girl who had also managed to survive. Kneeling down, Masaru saw the color of her face and her expression and shook his head. No way she was getting up in that condition.

"'scuse me a moment," he said, moving past the elf and casually tossing the boards on top of the young woman towards the sand before picking her up like a piece of luggage. Though she only seemed to be a bit shorter than him, his abnormal strength made the task of moving her... Quite simple.

"Okay... Well, you're not getting any better if you stay on the shore like a piece of driftwood, so let's bring you somewhere a bit drier. Like the edge of the beach. Maybe that'll get whatever's buggin' ya out of your system."

With a smile, the oni casually carried her closer inland before placing her down like a doll, upper body upright and leaning against a tree.

"You okay there? Need some water or something?" he asked, slapping her face lightly a few times to check for consciousness before realizing another problem in front of them.

Right. Fresh water. They needed that. Quite badly, actually.
Shit.
@AtomicNut: Fair enough.

I'm going to post either after Vita posts or tomorrow afternoon, depending on what comes first.
@AtomicNut: Uh... Well... I mentioned earlier that it's just magic nerfs across the board. Not that big of a mess; tone down healing and barrier strength and lower the strength of magic (because they shouldn't be able to fire explosions that topple even a single tree, let alone a bunch). 's about it. Tune lore to compensate.
At early points in the RP where the characters don't have any access to catalysts (mana crystals of a certain elemental affinity), their spell casts are... Really lackluster. In compensation, magic gets REALLY good the more of them the cast manages to dig up across the place.

In fairy powerscale... Well, what I said before is equivalent.
@AtomicNut: Not gonna lie, was expecting Cirno or Clownpiece. But, well, let me see...

I mentioned this a bit earlier, but magic's been kinda nerfed in this setting. All forms of magic without a catalyst are gonna be pretty weak, so do mind that. Kinda means that her magic isn't going to be anywhere near as explosive as you'd like until then, but if you can get a hold of something (and wrestle it away from our resident grumpy elven mage), then you can fire off lotsa big stuff.
Otherwise, history and abilities will have to be reworked a bit. Minor illusions, healing cuts and/or bruises, barriers that can block a punch or two... That sorta level of power. Magical combat is generally limited to... Well, not much until catalysts, actually. You've got bolt spells, but that's about it.

I deliberately nerfed magic in this setting because it IS a survival RP, so it may be a bit off-putting here. Scales a LOT better in the long run, though.

It is fine otherwise, so if you can make those changes without feeling like it alters the core of the character too much, then you're accepted.
@AtomicNut: The fairy idea I have no qualms with, actually.

It's up to you in the end, though.
@AtomicNut: I actually predicted that someone would use transformation magic shenanigans or something similar sooner or later, so I had decided to (gasp!) plan ahead!

There is a limit on magic, especially with a creature generally reputed to have godly magic reserves and ability.
So... Sealed all the way if you're going that route.
Nah, it's fine. You don't have to base it off of any given archetype, and this won't necessarily play like something out of DnD anyhow, so no need to worry.

No need to link any class reference anyhow.
