@NiceScourge, @Vec: You planning on moving, you two?
True to his word, Tiral had delivered the mistress to the Captain following his own studies, and, as he had expected, was told that he was going to be dragged along for formalities' sake. The thinly-veiled look of irritation was soon followed by one of dejected acceptance. An order like this wasn't something he was in any position to contest, and though he would have preferred to become something more useful to the Knights as a whole, this occasion seemed to take a higher priority to his superiors.

So the afternoon passed without incident as the ice mage returned to his room to find some sort of outfit that might possibly make himself look passable in any sense of the word. Even if he was a member of the Iron Rose, his origins were still low enough that it was likely that people would look down on him. That plus the fact that he funneled more money into research materials and magical equipment (that dagger sure as hell wasn't cheap, after all!) meant that was was somewhat... Unprepared for the event.

With a sigh, the ice mage dug through his own wardrobe, praying that there might have been something in there that would not let him be the laughingstock of the event. By some miracle, at least, there seemed to be some sort of clothing in that shallow closet that he called his own that wasn't picked out solely for comfort or utility. A pair of dress pants and some sort of shirt that looked... Sort of fancy? There was also a pair of shoes that didn't look like they had seen the hell of a battlefield lying around...

So at the very least, he wasn't going to look like a COMPLETE fool.

With his dagger concealed under his shirt and an annoyed expression that betrayed his current opinion on the matter, Tiral continued walking calmly behind the rest of the entourage. Everyone else seemed to have deeper pockets and more frivolous spending habits than he did (given how fancy everyone else seemed to look now), which ended up making the ice mage unsure how how much or how little he stood out. It'd be best if he could blend into the background during this ordeal, but given the invitation (and judging by how Sir Ian was currently being mobbed by women) the chances of that seemed very unlikely.

Before he could even try to do so, however, Tiral caught a glimpse of the Captain being...
...
Did that count as sexual harassment?

"...Uh... I... I'm not going to ask..." he sighed, turning away and shaking his head as the group entered the venue. It was every bit as grand as Tiral had expected, and though he was still averse to even come here in the first place, it wouldn't have been a lie to say he was impressed by the grandeur of it all.
...
Now, if only had this been under different circumstances might he not have been so irritable. Social gatherings were like the bane of his existence. The heat, the sweat, the superficiality of it all...
At least magicians told you when you screwed up. With these people, everything was all veiled behind smoke and mirrors.
With his notions about how farming was supposed to go now confirmed, Masaru let out a light sigh of relief before glancing at the new arrival. He had to admit, with the number of people that had managed to live through the storm, it was clear how absurdly CLOSE they were to not having to build up from what was essentially near-scratch. He'd have to remember to hold a vigil to those who were lost in the end, at the very least.

"Hey, who am I to argue with one more pair of helping hands, right? The more, the merrier!" the oni laughed as he glanced towards his hakama, which was still lying out there on the sandy beach.
...
Right. Hands full. Carrying goods that are better off not wet (or, well, any wetter than they were already). That might be... An issue.

"Er... Not to be lazy or anything, but anyone mind grabbing my stuff lying off to the side there as we move inland? If not, I'll make a quick return trip after we clear out the place. Hopefully it isn't missing by the time that's done. Or if it ends up being evening first. No clue."

"...In any case, we're wasting time here! Let's go! Uh... Well, that's what I would say if I knew where we were headed. Hey, uh... Charlotte, was it?" he asked the girl, assuming that the older man's comments were in direct reference to her name. "You and the ogre find anywhere spiffy enough to set up camp, or we gonna have to look deeper?"
Calling @Savo, @VitaVitaAR, @General Scales!

I think I've waited sufficiently long. We're moving!
@JustThink: Bare-bones is what I can call this, honestly. Not only are you missing the history section from the form, but from what you've given me in the personality section, it's very unlikely that he'd even be aboard the flagship at all. You know, because the whole 'lying and cheating' thing makes me assume he's... Well, not well off enough to be selected. Because, well, you've cited Tawken as a nation of origin, and I would assume that this is all a diplomatic move and thus no go.

Also. Never had to face consequences and outwitted older men. That comment doesn't bode well for me.

Declined.

@Savo: Yo, where you at, man?
That's what I wanna know. =3=;;
Name: Sogiita Gunha
Age: No specific age given; estimated to be 14-17.
Appearance: When in doubt, trust your guts!
World of Origin: To Aru Majutsu no Index
Powers/Equipment: As a Gemstone and one of the top espers in Academy City, Gunha's potential arsenal is... Rather large. The most relevant of this set is listed below.
  • Super Strength: Gunha can launch things a fair distance; for example, he launched a certain spiky-haired misfortunate high school student down a long path towards their target.
  • Pain Resistance and Increased Healing Factor: Gunha doesn't really FEEL much pain from most normal attacks and can shrug off things like, say, gunshots. Having resisted one of Misaka's larger lightning strikes and having caught one of her famous Railguns with his teeth, Gunha doesn't really care about that. He can also forcefully reconnect broken bones and staunch bleeding with, as he puts it, 'guts'. He can still feel pain, though; it's just the smaller stuff that really doesn't faze him.
  • Explosion Creation: In classic tokusatsu hero fashion, Gunha can create explosions of various types for different circumstances. These can be used to make a dramatic entrance or for more practical, combat-oriented purposes.
  • Attack Crash: Gunha takes a deep breath, takes a karate stance, dramatically opens his eyes and yells out the name of his signature move before launching a punch at his intended target. With enough force to damage a target over ten meters away, this attack is able to break through rubble. Gunha claims it to be psychokineis, but the truth is that even the scientists don't understand how it works.
  • Aurora Guard: In a similar fashion to his usual attack, Gunha shouts the words 'AMAZING PUNCH GUARD' and... Well, punches projectiles to the ground. Though it's not a perfect defense, it can deflect projectiles that have no real tangible form, such as electricity or lasers.
  • Enhanced Physical Capabilities: Aside from his super strength, Gunha can also move at superhuman speeds, can jump absurdly high, and... Can shout loud enough to create a shockwave that can break a fall.
    No, that's not a joke.

Brief Backstory: The No.7 Level 5 esper in Academy City, Gunha is... Well, there's not much to say about him, actually. A Gemstone whose powers even the top scientists of Academy City cannot decipher, Gunha lives his life as a sort-of normal student...
Well, save for the times he jumps into incidents because of his own ideals of justice. It usually end up working out one way or another. For example, the Daihaseisai incident.
...
But, well, that's super spoileriffic, so let's not go there.
Personality: Gunha is... A bit of an idiot. A kindhearted idiot who fights for the sake of justice, yes, but an idiot nevertheless. Incredibly hot-blooded and eager to solve issues without thinking them through first, Gunha also has a bit a tendency to get involved in messes that might not have BEEN messes in the first place. Often misunderstanding problems and context, he'll often jump into a problem with the idea that "if he has enough guts, then it'll be fine" or something like that. He's not an idiot, though; even though he may be the type to get caught up in rather strange situations, it's not as if he can't understand people or their issue. He just jumps to conclusions... Really quickly. If forced to, at least, he can stay put and TRY to work something out otherwise.
Other: Cites 'guts' as a solution to a lot of things. Don't think too much about it.
You know, having a blue beard isn't exactly something you want to be proud of...
With that rather strange problem put out of the way, Tiral moved steadily towards his own room for something that would make him a little less sore: his bed. Opting to skip a bath for the moment, the mage tossed his equipment off to the side (though taking careful note to place his dagger on his desk) before unceremoniously slumping down on the chair in front of his desk. His muscles still ached like nothing else, and though nothing really hurt per se, the tenseness of his body would not help matters much in the near future. A masseuse or something might help; nothing like a simple massage to let everything relax... Right?

Sighing, Tiral straightened his back and looked down over the work on his desk. Though paper and ink were still somewhat expensive, the good they did to keep his thoughts in order was worth more than enough. With that in mind, though, it wasn't as if he was about to start wasting it willy-nilly. There were a lot of things he learned in the last outing, the most notable of which being the fact that the Captain was now looking at him as a future commander. If that was the case, then there was much more to be done than simple anti-electricity wards to be put in place; he'd have to work towards researching more utility-based magic to let him handle situations on the battlefield better. Though the magic in question was likely to be found with the magicians he had once studied under, Tiral was in no mood to go pestering them in search of resources at the moment. There were enough tomes in his room at the moment to at least begin to get a basis for the magic in question, so that was where he would begin.

Taking a book from off to the side of his desk, the ice mage began to flip through it in search of any pieces of information he could gather. While using already pre-existing spells was an option, creating his own would mean that his fundamental understanding of each spell was better, and thus allow him to adjust to whatever situation came to hand. It was a lot more work, but that, at least, had considerably more payoff.

...

He'd report to the Captain later, though. An hour was enough to deliver the information, right?
In regards to the whole 'pointless fighting' thing, I mean... To be fair, both Mokou and Kaguya are in this RP. Pointless fights between these two should be expected, at the very least. Probably more.

That aside, Jhin and Kled/Skaarl are definitely not fit for this sort of setting. One (Jhin) is a serial killer that wants to kill things to make them beautiful, which means he'd be gunning for the PCs just as much as he would the enemies at hand, if any. He also hates Shen and Zed for robbing him of another 'work of art', which shows his fixation upon holding grudges. Oops, had to kill a guy he wanted to kill because of extenuating circumstances? Hitlist. Not particularly someone I'd want on the list of PCs, to be honest.

Kled is just batshit fucking crazy, though. Dude raves about mind weasels and invisible badgers, declares himself to have multiple titles in the Noxian military, and constantly talks about how he'll kill his team later (he's just killing the enemy team first). It's not even a matter of ham; dude will try to murder everything he sees, regardless of circumstance. Also, he chugs mushroom juice, which he even says gives him hallucinations and paranoia. Someone with that much instability is definitely not beneficial to an RP and would likely be put down the second he tries fo stab a 'tresspasser'. Which, granted, would take... A few minutes, tops? Probably less?

I read League lore. I listen to the VOs. All this is rooted in what Riot has put out. While they may be fun to play, they do not fot the scene this RP is trying to set... In my eyes, at least.

Just putting my two cents in.
