@Rin: To be fair, I'm the kind of guy who judges things as a whole and not just piece by piece, so yeah, that's just kinda... Treading the line.
Like... It's hentai. What else am I supposed to view it as? ._.

(I admit to being a bit of a prude yes.)

What kind of a rabbit hole and I leaping into with this sort of comment...? ._.

Oh no.
Oh no.
Is it that one? The encyclopedia with the--

It is, isn't it?
@BurningDaisies: Yeah, no, sure, go for it!
@BurningDaisies: Either or would work just as well, honestly.
Name: Fujiwara no Mokou
Gender: Female
Appearance: Living forever ain't as good as you think it is, y'know.
Personality: Mokou is by no means sociable; due to her immortality, she's seen many people die as time passes, and thus removes herself willingly from human society in order to avoid the everlasting pain of parting. Her age also makes her much wiser than she appears to be, though it may not always seem as such at first. She IS still human at heart, though, and is fairly altruistic in spite of what she has lived through thus far. To those who do get her to open up a bit more, Mokou is a rather blunt person, though nowhere near as hotheaded as her control of fire would USUALLY implicate. While content with her life in Gensokyo, if something piques her interest, she won't hesitate to pursue it. When she's committed, though, she goes ALL OUT. The only other thing that might cause such a reaction is killing Kaguya, because, well... Grudges. Even that's sorta gone stale, though.
Having lived for so long, Mokou has also looped around from sane to insane and back again. Nothing really fazes her any more, save for being dragged to the Outside World thanks to a certain meddling student, but... Well, those are a different story. She also understands that life is still something important and the impact of taking a life, though that doesn't mean that she much cares for her own.
Dying still hurts, though. She tries to avoid it.
Species: Human (Immortal)
Abilities: Other than the standard of 'flight' that all Gensokyo residents have, Mokou also has access to a plethora of spellcards at her disposal. She can also shoot and control fire at will. Oh, and she's immortal in regards to the fact that no matter how many times she's killed, she'll always come back to life. Mokou also has a tendency to theme her attacks around the motif of a phoenix and can (and will occasionally) self-immolate herself to bring her body back to peak condition. Her body is still that of a human's, though, so pain is still pain, and death is still death (and that hurts a ton).
Skills: Other than knowing the Bamboo Forest of the Lost like the back of her hand, Mokou can cook fairly well. Whether or not that expands past 'drying foods out' or 'making yakitori' remains to be seen.
Brief Backstory: Once a human, Mokou drank the Hourai Elixir whilst seeking revenge against Kaguya (yes, THAT Kaguya) for humiliating her father as a child. Immortality ensued. Ever since then, Mokou's been lingering on as an undying existence, eventually finding her way to Gensokyo. Looping through complete insanity before running back to sanity and repeating that cycle a few times over (along with beating the everloving crap out of Kaguya and vice versa a few times over). Following the events of Imperishable Night (aka the 'fake moon incident'), Mokou's gone back to her daily life of lounging about...
Well, assuming that incidents don't directly involve her or anything. There was that one time that she went out into modern-day Japan, which was... Something. Didn't learn much from the experience, though.
Thankful that the merchant had become occupied with trying to sell her wares to the other people milling about, Mamoru let out a sigh of relief as he began to read over the notice in a bit more detail. It seemed straightforward enough--kill bears, bring back the corpses, obtain money. That meant, though, that if he was going to take on the job, he'd be needing to hire someone to bring them all back. Logically, that could be handled afterwards, but for now...

Right, taking on bears alone was a death sentence. Though they are often solitary creatures, a bear is still a bear. And then there were the fringe cases where bears could control qi...

It wasn't as if it hadn't happened before, to be fair; there were a few cases in the past where animals had some instinctual reaction to qi or something, and the resulting messes were never pretty. But hey, at least they usually went for a lot of money.
...
Granted, that money usually went to the families of those who died, but it was better than the families and the men dying, right?

Before he could begin walking around to the usual hunters, though, Mamoru paused for a moment as two women (one of which being the merchant who was attempting to have him buy her goods) offering their services. The swordsman gave them a quick once-over before shrugging and nodding his head.

"I don't think there's any problem with that, you two. Scouts are always a bit more troublesome to come by in this region because everyone's so focused on strengthening their bodies for their work, so your help would be appreciated; as for you, miss merchant... Remember that the bears are a bit more dangerous this time of year. I'd recommend you stay alert if you wish to come along; the more the merrier, correct?"

With that said, Mamoru moved off to the side before beginning to converse with a few of the regulars. After all, if there was anyone with experience with this sort of thing, it was them. Even if they decided they had better things to do for the day, their advice might still help in the long run.

Gee, I wonder how I wrote this up so quickly? =3=;;
Hurrah, Kaguya gets her friend!

Because what else do you call that person you see every few days for centuries and don't have some sort of master/servant relationship with?

Your mortal enemy? owo;;
Actually, more like immortal, but what do I know? =3=;;

Time to go copy parts of my form off of that RP Tachi never got going, I guess.
I'll be writing up something for Mokou once I'm done with my current workload.
*pokes head around*

You know, I feel as if the RP is going fairly slowly, tbh.
I don't like posting right after someone else, so I'll give this another day or two for now.

If anyone has any remaining questions or curiosities, you're free to ask, y'know. =w=;;
