"Life for me is dark and miserable, but I won't curse something that I can't control"

Name: Jennifer (Jen) Cho
Age: 34
Gender: Female
Height: 5'5'
Weight: 120 lbs
Ethnicity: Chinese
Sexuality: Bisexual
Religion: Athiest
Occupation: Former Quantum Agent/ Currently in hiding

Ability: Non-Corporeal Form - Jennifer possesses the ability to take on a non corporeal form at will. In this form Jennifer is somewhat like a spirit/ghost. She is able to phase through solid objects, levitate to some degree, and enter another person's body. When entering another person, Jennifer must be able to fight the will of the host. The host can either comply to allow her to take control, or continue to fight her off constantly until she gets too exhausted to remain latched onto them or until the victim becomes too dangerous to themselves after her mental torture. Energy based attacks can irritate her in this form, but it's the equivalent of a person being viciously sprayed by a garden hose.

Personality: Due to her adoption by Quantum Industries, Jennifer was raised to be a natural cold blooded killer. Unlike Johanna Phillips, Jennifer seems to be a bit more stable since she came from a healthier upbringing before being introduced to Quantum. Still, she isn't the type of person to be happy go lucky. Jennifer likes to be straight forward, and hates when people either bead around the bush or just give way too much information when explaining things. Her tough persona is easily displayed in how harshly she talks to others and her dominance. Due to her dominant nature, Jennifer hates taking orders from people she can't trust or who she feels are not cut out for the job of giving direction. Her views on Quantum are negative. She broke away from them after she got wind of what they may be doing to the world. Sure, she didn't mind making a quick buck off of bounty hunting Evos, but Quantum was going too far by interfering with politics and human rights.

Background: Jennifer was born in Staten Island, New York City. Her parents were Chinese who immigrated from Thailand. Jennifer struggled when it came to making friends at school, due to how traditional her family raised her. Things only became worse when she discovered she obtained an ability. Luckily it revealed itself while she was at home with her father who was teaching her the basics of Muay Thai. The practice was strenuous and the reason why she was able to access her ability in the first place.

After her father witnessed the use of her power, Jennifer was no longer allowed to go anywhere. Her parents decided to home school her, further isolating the girl from other children. They had told her it was because she was too special to be among them. They continued to preach this until the day her parents handed her over into "professional hands". Within the grasps of Quantum as the age of 15, the organization honed her base skills as well of her control over ability. When she was 18, Jennifer was sent on scouting missions, and with time, she her reputation allowed her to perform solo covert operations. They gave her the nickname of "the Phantom", but she preferred Jen. Jen remained in Quantum for years until the registration act.

Jen is currently ducking down in Miami, Florida, trying to bring forth a real resistance, not the one that was recently broken up by the FBI.

Candle Lighting Vigil, Miami

In the midst of the gathering surrounding the candle lighting vigil, Michael stood on the sidelines to observe behind the scenes. Though the weather and atmosphere was soothing, Michael could not help but to be a bit aggravated. He displayed this by his numerous sighs and the shaking of his head from time to time. These guys are weak... What a waste of time. From what he could gather from the crowd, they were a sobbing mess and the Evos in the area were Level 2 at best. He could have left, but a piece of him couldn't help but to feel bad. They were helpless and it didn't help that they couldn't do anything about it. He leaned his back against a signpost which was not as comfortable as he expected His eyes looked from person to person until they set on a man who had just realized he was next up to speak. Him. Michael thought as he focused on his target.

The man was a father and a husband. If it was ever up to him, he never missed a Sunday of church. He was currently widowed due to the riot and had spent a lot of his time debating with himself about whether or not he would speak or even attend for that matter. He was hurt in a way Michael could not understand. He stepped to the podium with his sweat spotted light blue dress shirt, khaki slacks, and dark brown dress shoes. A bouquet of flowers hung from the tight grip of his left. He did not think he could do this, but that did not matter as he felt a dizziness. He shut his eyes in response and shook his head before everything went black. There was nothingness.

When the man opened his eyes, he was not the same man. His stature was strong and confident. The way he looked at crowd was how a proud leader looked at his loyal subordinates. Ironically he was just a puppet being used by Michael who smiled in the background.

"Today... I was going to come up here to speak about the tragedy of the riot... The only person I loved most in this world was taken from me, and I honestly don't know what to do with myself..." The man's feelings spilt into Michael's control over him, but the young telepath accounted for it. In fact, he preferred it. "Then I got to thinking... What the hell are we doing?! Seriously! We come here crying for our loved ones, trying to feel sorry for ourselves, and regretting we ever tried to do what we thought was right! Is this what they would want? For us to just... to just give up like this?! Sure, we may not have helicopters and hitech equipment, but we have numbers... For Christ's sake, we have people with powers on our side! What the government is doing to these people is wrong. And yes I said people! They put them in prisons for just using what is natural to them. That's like telling me that I can't speak! That I can’t walk! That I can't sleep!" Several people began to feel inspired, and Michael could just hear the thoughts of others that were slowly being swayed as well.

"What about Quantum and the Evo Division?!" Michael shouted from the back. This shit is priceless

"Quantum should be brought down! Yes I said it, and you should all say it too. It's their faults the world is the way it is! Don't you find it weird how this group who has helped with regulating Evos has Evos in their ranks? And these laws don't apply to them! I bet you all didn't know that did you? You think it's weird that the most dangerous and powerful Evos are either in prison or in their ranks. Doesn't that leave them with all the power? And yes, feel free to record this. Put it on YouTube, sell it to a local new station... Because these questions aren't just for you all in the crowd, it's for those evil fearing pricks locked away in their offices. The mayors, the governors, the congressmen, the president... all of you don't even realize that you're feeding a beast that you don’t even have control over. With that I'm done. May all who passed in the riot find peace." The man turned from the podium as people clapped and set his flowers with the other tributes.

Good job! Now get going. You gotta celebrate at home.

Michael was pleased by the speech, and almost decided to stay. He could already see that others were going to also speak out against the government. Reviving a dead resistance wasn't his goal, but it satisfied him. He was ready to leave, but he noticed a thought that made him stop mid step. His sights landed on Evan who had a wandering thought about an Evo, a powerful one at that. Stopped a storm that big? That probably means should make one too. No name, but he's looking into it... I guess I'll stick around, at least until someone breaks this whole thing up.

"This is the life!" Michael exclaimed as he walked out of a massage clinic with his hand stretching up high. It had been a few hours since he arrived and he was already using his powers for the greater good. The greater good for himself. He was now wearing a pair of khaki cargo shorts, a black tee, and a pair of black Jordans. Along with that, he got himself a haircut and a clean shave. "Standin' tall lookin' good, oughta be in Hollywood." Michael said to himself as he walked down the sidewalk.

So far, he'd learn a couple of things going on since he was gone. The two things that he concerned himself with were the events happening within Miami. The riot seemed like it would have been interesting to attend, but he was sure he could catch the candle lighting today. It seemed odd for Michael to attend something like this, but he figured it was a way to not only gain a lot of information at once, but to see if this gathering was as genuine as people thought it would be. It could have been a trap for the sympathizers and Evos apart of the movement that was completely shot down... literally. He could also recruit some desperate Evos to his cause.

"Nice shades!" He complimented a guy who stopped in place and removed them. Michael smirked as he grabbed the sunglasses and placed them on his face and continued on.

"Hey! Yeah you!" Michael turned to see a police officer coming his way. He flashed a smile before all the officer saw was a bright light and then nothing. "Damn it! Fucking teleporter or something... Fuck it." The officer cursed as he turned away from Michael who had just been walking away the entire time.

Can't believe Quantum hasn't shown their faces yet. Must be too busy with other shit... hmm I guess I'll just scout for some potential teammates till the candle lighting.

"KILL THE EVOS! SAVE THE PEOPLE! KILL THE EVOS! SAVE THE PEOPLE! KILL THE EVOS! SAVE THE PEOPLE! KILL THE EVOS! SAVE THE PEOPLE! KILL THE EVOS! SAVE THE PEOPLE! KILL THE EVOS! SAVE THE PEOPLE! KILL THE EVOS! SAVE THE PEOPLE!" Hundreds of protesters roared as they marched towards the Capital Building in Austin, Texas. A combination of signs and fists flailed upward, people announced their hate, and nothing seemed like they could not be stopped. Fiona led the charge with a megaphone as they disrupted traffic in the city. A smile crept onto her face as she watched as the number of her followers increased.

"Yes! Push past the law enforcement! They are either with us or against us." She announced. "KILL THE EVOS! SAVE THE PEOPLE!" She shouted towards the police who allowed the crowd to pass by. An officer actually nodded his head before joining into the crowd. "YES, CHILDREN! WE WILL PURGE THE WORLD OF EVOS!" As local new in Texas caught this scene on camera, some who were listening in were affected oddly. There were those who repeated the chant and had it make sense to them. Some even decided that they might make the drive and join the movement. Then there were few cases where people started to act violently against Evos. One of the most pressing stories is one where a man entered an Evo elementary school and began shooting at anyone he laid eyes on until he was shot dead. He managed to kill a dozen children and three teachers. Not even Fiona knew really how powerful her words were.

"Fuck..." Michael let out as he spat salty water from his mouth and walked towards the sand. It had taken nearly the entire day, but those dolphins got him to where he needed to be. He was glad he had submitted at least a dozen to his will or he may not have made it back to the United States this fast. From beach of a secluded island, to shallow waters of Miami. Even with his drenched clothes and aching stomach, he already saw this as an upgrade.

As his eyes became less blurry, he was able to finally see people. People he could touch and speak to.... people he could control. A smile spread across his face as he heard their thoughts all at once. When he had first obtained his ability, he hated how he had no control of what he would hear echoing through the minds of others. It took him many weeks to shut out the thoughts he did not want or need to hear. Now, he felt as if hearing everything was a blessing. He could hear people wondering why a man was dressed in a Polo shirt and jeans in the water or even the beach for that matter. He could hear the wandering thoughts of women laying on the beach to get that perfect tan. He could hear the dirty thoughts of Men peaking looks at those very women. The children playing, people craving food, distorted drunk thoughts, deep high thoughts... he could hear everything.

"Yes..." Michael breathed heavily as he took everything in. He kept walking forward, and thoughts just became more plentiful. And then, they stopped simultaneously. His eyes shut as he heard the false sounds of the human mind. The lies and the secrets. The spoken words. "Daddy's home." He said as his feet finally touched the dry sand. "Hey you! I need a dry shirt." Michael said as he pointed to a man sitting on his towel. The man gave him an odd look, which Michael fully expected.

"Huh?" The man was wondering who this guy was talking to, because he had nothing to give him.

Give me your fucking shirt, your towel, and I'll take you shorts... just for now at least. Michael did not really feel like wearing another man's shorts, but the guy was about his size and he wanted to be dry again. Michael watched in amazement as the man stared at him blankly and gave passed his towel to him. Michael immediately began drying himself off as the man removed his clothes. "Good thing you wore some decent boxers or boxers at all. Thanks." Michael said as he grabbed the shirt and shorts from the man.

"Anytime bro." The man said as he stood there.

"Seeya around." Michael said as he got bizarre looks. Mind your business.

Everyone paying any attention to Michael immediately ignored his presence. He chuckled at the power he held over the human mind. Now that I've stretched my legs, it's time to really do some shit. Whether they know it or not, I'm going to tear them apart. As the young man exhaled, countless bodies dropped on the beach. He continued on. Quantum his target.

"How are you doing this?!" Veronica shouted through the screen. She couldn't believe the man could be this desperate. "Mr. Thomas! Whatever you think... Fuck!" Veronica cursed as the video call was dropped. Veronica quickly grabbed her phone and quickly dialed for her supervisor. The woman breathed hastily as she felt her career go into jeopardy. The woman couldn't help but tremble with not only fear, but anger as well. How could I be so stupid?! What do I tell them?! What... Her thoughts were interrupted by the voice on there phone line.

"What do you need Grayson?" A man with an English accent asked calmly. He could already hear Veronica's heavy breathing which was unlike her. Something was definitely wrong. "What's going on?" He pressed as he wanted to know what was causing her this much distress. Patrick was normally a cold man, but hearing someone who was as calm and collected as Veronica panic made him worry.

"He's escaping! Michael Thomas is escaping the island!" She shouted.

Meanwhile, Michael walked across the sand and towards the ocean. The shallow waves chopped wildly as fins and tails broke the surface of the water.

The young man would have loved to bask in his own glory, but he simply could not waste time. He was sure the Evo Division was going to contact Quantum, and Quantum was going to come to his location like a bat out of hell. With that in mind, he jogged into the water with what he called the "calvary"... bottle nosed dolphins.

Get me out of here! Michael commanded as he grabbed a hold of one of the dolphin's dorsal fins. Who would have known? This has to be more than luck... Michael thought to himself as he was pulled across the ocean. At that moment he thought back to how he had made his discovery of being able to sway the minds of even animals after being placed on that island. And when he thought back on this, he really had to thank Quantum for putting him there. It was like they gave him a brand new skill on his skill tree of power. Sure, there were limits to what he could command the gang of dolphins to do, but for Michael, it had been groundbreaking! "Hey Quantum! Come and catch me!" He roared in excitement.

"As we stand here today! Our savior works his miracles in his mysterious and amazing ways! A few months ago, the lord found us a way to see the snakes hiding in our grass! Slithering across the soil of our beloved country!" A young brown skinned woman with attractive exotic features spoke to a crowd of people who believed her to be an emissary of their lord. Her powerful voice was carried by the beauty of her appearance. She dressed in an all white female tailored suit. She waved her free hand wildly to show the passion in her words as she held the microphone with the other.

The crowd cheered with their fists shooting high in the air within the small church where they had gathered. They were filled with hate for all things Evo and believed them all to be spawns of hell. This group known as the Children of Azrael were called many things on the media; Cultists, Extremists, Terrorists, but they saw themselves as the sword of their god that would cleanse the world of Evos.

"And now that the Lord has finally shown us who these snakes are, what have we done? Our so called government who aim to protect us let only restrict the abominations! The Lord has spoken to me and still does now! Echoing the names of these scornful devils that are left to live in the sinful way they do! He tells me that we cannot and will not wait! That we must not stand by! We know our enemy! And with this knowledge, we will destroy our enemy! We will cleanse not only our soil, but the soil of our neighbors and rid the world of these snakes forever! For the Lord is our shepherd and we shall make sure his garden is cleansed!!!" She roared as the crowd went wild. She smiled humbly at her disciples and nodded as she got ready to set her plan in motion. She would see to it that Evos are unborn.

"Evos"

Veronica, Michael's Evo Division representative arched her right brow as she found Michael's smile and tone to be unpredicted. There were times when she wondered whether or not he was happy to be alone on an island, and this was one of them. She made a quick mental note just as he started speaking.

"Well... I think Evos are pretty interesting. You know?" Michael shrugged. "Sure, some may seem to have useless skills like glowing in the dark or changing pigmentation throughout their body, but what normal person can say they can do that?" Michael said as his feet shifted in the sand.

As Veronica assumed that Michael was done with his brief answer, she opened her mouth to speak.

"I'm not done." Michael interrupted. His sharp tone caused Veronica to leave her mouth agape for a few seconds. Her eyebrows furrowed at Michael's now very apathetic face. "Then there are Evos like me..." Michael scowled at the woman on the screen. "They call us dangerous, but that's because we are. Think about it, it's only natural. We're like a new species being introduced to a perfect habitat. Kinda like an invasive species. You know about those types of situations, right?" Michael finally smirked, but it was sinister this time. "Out with the old, in with the new. And I can't wait when until we swallow all you fuckers whole. You're trying to stop us, but you can't. You tried to detain me, but you couldn't... And now you isolate me, but you haven't."

"Don't be so sure of yourself Mr. Thomas, there's no one anywhere near you and there will never be anyone near you after what you just said. You're done! You've lost, we've won. And you're entire 'species' of mutated brothers and sisters will lose as well." Veronica said showing her dominance. She stared Michael in the eyes as his smile faded. She knew she had pissed him off. His silence said it all.

Then Michael spoke, his smile returning.

"So you've won? Really?" Michael's smile grew before he chuckled. With a quick shaking of his head he stood up and turned the laptop to face the ocean. "You see what I'm seeing? The calvary has arrived." He said as he crossed his arms. Veronica could only watch in shock at what she saw.

Here!
"All of them must die!"
Name: Fiona Lockhart
Age: 27
Gender: Female
Height: 5'5
Weight: 135 lbs
Ethnicity: African American
Sexuality: Hetero
Religion: The Church of the Children of Azrael
Occupation: Religious Leader
Ability: Mind Manipulation- Fiona is capable of the same feats as René, aka The Haitian, but instead memory alteration, she has belief inducement

Personality: To normal humans, Fiona is a compassionate and caring person. She helps others and is extremely generous. Towards Evos however, she shows nothing but hate for them. Fiona sees them as vile and would rather lose a limb then to cooperate with any of them. Fiona is extremely driven to the point where she believes her ends will justify her means.

Background: Fiona was born into poverty in New Orleans to a single mother. Fiona mother raised Fiona and her siblings as best as she could, but the children felt the sting of being unfortunate.

When Fiona was eight, her mother began a relationship with a man who helped provide for the household. And though he did it out of love, it stressed him out throughout the years. He took advantage of how much the family depended on him and got away with a lot that occurred in their home. At the age of fourteen, Fiona was sexually molested by the man and it continued on until Fiona went to go on to fulfill her life long dream of being a Christian minister at the age of 19.

Upon going down her path to become closer to God, Fiona's mentor was murdered by an Evo. This not only angered her, but set her on a new path towards her wrath on Evos. Years passed as she preached her word, but few listened or called her a lunatic.

It wasn't until one that she gained an ability. Fiona cursed it and nearly committed suicide until an epiphany dawned onto her. She believed this to not be an Evo ability, but a gift from God to eradicate Evos. People soon believed in her words due to her ability. Fiona formed her own sect of Christianity that stood out from many.

Fiona was able to bypass the Evo registration by snapping and arguing that she was not an Evo, and the test administer "believed" it. She now uses her ability to rid the world of Evos and gain even more followers to support her goal.

"I'm the fuckin man, y'all don't get it do you..." Michael had just started rapping along to the lyrics of The Motto by Drake. It was one of the big hits this year, but unfortunately Skype started beeping with an incoming video call. He sighed at the tone and contemplated if he really wanted to answer. Then again, what else would he do. The music was not going anywhere, and with his situation it seemed he would not be going anywhere either.

Michael never would have thought Quantum would think of isolating him on an island. It seemed nice at first: three meals a day, no one to bother him, great Internet speed, a beach, and a great view of the ocean. Even the solitude was nice at first. After several hours of this bliss, he realized what kind of hell Quantum had tailored for him. There was no people, barely any wildlife, the food tasted like shit, the internet would lose connection from time to time, and he had to talk to a Quantum appointed Evo Division representative every few days or whenever they called him. Michael was not exactly sure why they gave the effort, but he guessed that it was to keep him sane. He sat in the only seat they had given him with what he referred to as his "island prison starter kit" that included the generator he had to keep running, a small wooden desk, and his laptop. It was a decent lawn chair, but he was sure he'd break it one of these days. It was tides like these where he regretted a lot of things. Being born an evo and breaking out of his previous containment were two of the things that came to his mind the most.

Michael curled his bare feet in the soft sand before answering the call. He sighed as he saw the same woman's face he had seen for days. Veronica Fields. At first he refused to answer he calls, but then they stopped doing air drops. A guy has to eat, so he would answer and not talk, at least until she threatened to make the air drops stop after his second time playing mute.

"Hey." Michael said unenthused. The woman on the screen couldn't have been no more than ten years older than he was and always dressed in business clothing.

"Good afternoon, Michael." Veronica said kindly. She was always like this at first. Michael never liked it and felt like she was just trying to butter him up. Then again, he could not figure a reason why she would do that. Maybe this isolation was getting to him.

"Back at ya. So what's the topic for today?" Michael asked, being a smart alec. Veronica always seemed to have something specific to ask about. The first time it was his reason for attempting escape, and after that was his reason for abusing his ability at his college.

"Topic? Well since you put it that way. Today we're going to talk about your opinion." She said with a smirk. Her green eyes pierced, showing he interested in what he might say.

"On?" He asked with curiosity. Now both their interests were peaked. He hated not knowing something. He absolutely hated it. If she were there in person he could make her bend over backwards while reciting the alphabet backwards, but he had no such power and he knew she loved that he yearned for it. With no one around she knew how pathetic he felt.

"Well I just want to know how you feel..." She was doing it again. "About Evos. I know it seems vague, but I want your open ended opinion." She said as she kept her smile up.

"Evos... I guess that's actually a great topic for today. I think you'll like it." Michael said as he smiled back.
