OK, so I have a few questions. What range of planes can we see? What's the technology level? I read through the entire OP in the OOC of Sky Warriors, and it said in the range of WWII to 1970, about, are we sticking to that?
Perhaps we should have a big event to break off from the original Sky Warriors story, like a super natural disaster (I know, I'm just picking excuses to nick the Ulysses Disaster from Ace Combat), a major war or battle? Will it take place around the same time?
As well as that, we'll have to choose who to focus on. We could do a prequel or sequel and keep the Albion's Avengers, but I think a Muv-Luv Schwarzesmarken style of deal would be cool as well, focusing on another important squadron in this universe in a different place, time...
I think Sky Warriors has a lot of potential to have a very detailed and cool universe, as a matter of fact. We can do a lot with it, because from what I read, it looks to be a very flexible setting, as well as quite interesting.
Okay so yeah, handwaving aerodynamics and technology you can have planes from the 1910 from 1970 as they have all been fitted with the same technology and can be piloted just as competetively as each other. I made this rule more for asthetics. Some Warplanes just look to damn cool and I want them to be able to be used along more modern fighter jets. Basically choose the plane that looks nice, dont worry about performance too much.
I'm thinking we actually make it a brief prequel, I want it to take place a couple months before the Alibion Avengers seek out Roland for help going to new haven.
If you want to add some sort of large event to the canon thats very doable, I've created a world that has all sorts of wars and catastrophes going on.
I was going to focus this RP on the Red Baroness, and her putting together a team to hunt down powerful targets across the world and offering large bounties to the players who will join her. This contrasts nicely with Roland's more heroic mission.
It'll be like TAKE DOWN THE 6 BOSSES ACROSS THE GLOBE, each nemeisis will be powerful and initimidating in their own way, shadow of the colosuss style accept with scary mechs, military might and rival warplanes.
Obviously Id want to allow personal motivations to play into the story and aims as well but that would be the starting point.
