Yes they can seal each other away to the afterlife using their sealing weapons in he deadly room.

@Dynamo Frokane I probably should've asked this earlier, but nevermind.

In the interest of future endeavors, what happens if you blow up a ghost with some explosives? And also, would I be right in assuming that the deadly 8 and other ghosts don't need to breathe unless they're in the real world?

Great question, I have been a little lazy with my ghost physics explanations.

So the spirits are not totally etheral, they are more like undead specters, mostly physical but with supernatural durability.

Conventional real world weapons can damage them but have reduced effect and can never finish them off, they would just regenerate and come back. This oncludes eexplosives which could probably put one out of commission but would escape as soon as they recovered only to return.

The Deadly 8 are a little different, they exist inside of a human body when in the real world, so they are basically as vunerable as an average person, but they have skills and training to help them survive.

They take injury just like a regular person in the real world, and they slowly heal in the deadly room. But if they 'die' they are gone for good, and cant return to the real world. But luckily damage doesnt carry over, so if the active jones switches out, the replacement jones will be injury free regardless of what happened to the body.

And I guess the bullet doesn't really affect the human body? Kinda like a spiritual bullet? What happens if we kill the host using a real gun and not our sealing one?

The host wont die from a real bullet, would just be incapicated but then would heal and return.

So, when we switch, do my ring and cane materialize out of nowhere while Nick's lead pipe and gun vanish?

Also, how does the stun work? It freezes the spirit inside the body or only affects the body like a normal bullet would. Either way, after he gets hit by my R.I.P. load out, he IS...gonna suffer a lot of pain and internal bleeding making him unable to move anyway.

The short answer is yes, you essentially 'swap' places with the active jones and your equipment along with it.

Basically spirits can be injured but they are extremely durable and they 'heal' fast, so the stunning firearms might make them flinch or even ground them for a period of time, but they will always come back (sometimes stronger) if they are not sealed. But then they can only be sealed once they are weakened. You can also use hand to hand techniques to inflict damage.
