@Stern Algorithm@ChaoticFox Okay why dont one of you go next, then @bluetommy2 will post afterwards.
@Ryteb Pymeroce So good opening post, but two things

1. you have summoned the arcane longsword but you havent actually used it, the nature of the one hit weapons is that the get discarded in the same post they are drawn, so you can make an edit to not use it or use a different weapon this time because its a practice battle. Other wise its essentially wasted.

2. More of characterization problem, but the Lizard Cousins arent rapists, and they also arent nessecarily interested in human women, so I think that descripition is a unessecary. If there is a personality quirk to reference in a support monster I'll be sure to refrence it in the flavor text. Apart from that, its a good post.

After both of you make these edits I'll do my result post of your attacks and actions.
@Dynamo Frokane
So we can decide our own draws on this one?

yes you decide your own draws you can draw anywhere from the deck.

'sinking jacks cutlass into his back' is an auto hit, you can only attempt to strike the monster, not actually hit it. Other than that it all seems fine. Although youve called the rotten stalker, shambler. Just make these small edits.

Also although the oppoonent may have made it seem that way, the Lizardman isnt actually interested in human women, so 'distratcting' with a female support isnt going to work, best use her for her intended purpose.

@Ryteb Pymeroce@Ryougu

Right so you will be fighting in the practice arena, both of you in the form of your battle mages but your thoughts will be that of your characters, you may play 4 cards per post, but you still must account for where you are on the field. You can only declare weapon attacks and order support creatures to attack which ever target you choose (feel free to get descriptive with your writing it helps). But ultimately I decide if an attack hits and how much damage percentage is done (every battle will have a moderator).

You can attempt to dodge enemy attacks or block them with a weapon (which will damage the opponent slightly but you will still take damage unless its a shield) or if your support creatures are fast enough you can order them to take a hit for you.

You must keep track of how many cards you have left and what they are. You will also forfeit the match if you run out of cards.

Either one of you can post first, I'll post 3rd after both you to announce hits, damage and discards.
Just thought id show you this RP @King Tai
Name: Ronald "Ronnie" Baudet
Age: 23
Profession: Photographer
Nationality: France
Personality:
Ronnie is a bold young man with passion in his heart. He often takes some risky actions just to get a better angle for his pictures. When he's disinterested however, he barely moves at all. And while he is usually a very social and peaceful person, he's not afraid to fight if he feels someone has seriously slighted him.

Interest In Trading Card Games:
Ronnie's best friend introduced him to card games when he was 12, he and his friend eventually made some new friends, a dedicated circle of card gamers. Since then he has played all kinds of card games, and he has become a notorious poker-player. When he heard of this game, he knew he simply had to try.

Bio:
Growing up, Ronnie was a dead-set average kid. Grades, looks, everything, dead average. There was one thing he always excelled at; photography. He had a knack for finding the best views, though in the beginning his pictures were rather blurry. As he grew older and got into card games, he once more found himself a dead-average player.

When he had become objectively superior to his old crew, he just couldn't seem to get better in his new crew. With a few all-nighters of mixed learning about several forms of strategy, tricks for photography and his college studies, he finally broke away from his losing streak. Since then he had a second dream. Not only did he wish to take the most beautiful picture there'd ever be, he also dedicated himself to dominating any card game he played.

Name: Lucius Black
Age: 22
Profession: Sous-Chef
Nationality: France
Personality:
Lucius is a kind person, not hestitant to go out of his way to help another person. He is jolly and has a soft spot for puns and other bad jokes. Lucius has a fetish for food, and even more so for making it.

Interest In Trading Card Games:
Growing up lonely in elementary school, Lucius made friends with some geeks in middle school, who he's played card games with ever since.

Bio:
When Lucius was 7 years old, his family moved to Paris. Because of this, Lucius had to switch schools. In his new school however, he had a hard time making friends. When he was 12 and still didn't have many friends, he did eventually make a new friend, this person introduced him to card games. With little else to do, Lucius dove headfirst into the world of card games, playing whenever he could. He and his friends all regularly played card games and after a few years they became known as some of the better card gamers in France.

When Lucius was 16, a new guy joined his gaming group; Ronald Baudet. The two of them soon became fast friends and Lucius enjoyed his rivalry with Ronnie--A rivalry that Ronald himself was unaware of. Once Ronald one day became a lot better than he was before, Lucius felt left behind. His current goal is to reach the same level as Ronald so they can once more properly compete.

Ah no wonder I didn't have any notifications. I do believe I saw someone say that when you mention someone in an OP they won't get a message... on that note; @Ryteb Pymeroce

Ah thanks, I didnt know that. I'll add the the overview to the OP too.

EDIT: i'll also assign you both a Battlemage Profile (which is based on your ring colour). This is the appearance your character will take when in a Mythic Duel, there will also be perks based on rank.

Also I've already added your characters and decks to the tab.
The world of Lost Empires is very similar to our own. But the key differences come within the history.

Lost Empires Overview I: The Card Game

In Lost Empires you will play as an indidual with access to the conduit-stone's power which allows you to summon the real world magic used by the battle mages in the times of the Mythic Wars. The creatures and weapons used by the mages are reprsented by the Mythic Legends trading cards. They are in very limited supply in the modern time and you will only have access to a small number at the beginning of your journey.

The battle system is very similar to that of the Lost Kingdoms franchise, if youve played that somehwat rare game you will know the basics, but dont worry if you havent as the exact rules of how it will be adapted to this RP will be fully explained here.

The objective of a duel is to use the cards in your deck to fight your opponent until they become defenseless and have to submit. You will actively be on the battlefield summoning monsters and wielding weapons as if it were live combat. Your access to the conduit gives you the abilites of a battle mage. So when in a Mythic Duel you will be able to do things you couldnt in the real world, physically.

Lost Empires Overview II: The Card Types and Elements

There are 4 different types of cards in Mythic Legends and each card can only be used once per battle. You will start off with a Deck of 15 cards, and your deck may hold a maximum of 25 cards, with no card replicas more than x3 with some even less. The 4 types of cards are as follows.

Lost Empires Overview III: Victory and Defeat

A game of Mythic Legends is not to be taken lightly, each game, even friendly exhibition rounds come with a price. Both players must wager something before every battle or the cards wont activate, as to reflect the risky nature of the wars that the mages had in in ancient times. The most common is card wager, the winner wins the card that the loser wages. Depending on the rarity of the card, this could be dissapointing or devastating. There are other important things that can be wagered, but that will be revealed later in the RP

In a Duel, both players start with 100% hitpoints, as they inflict damage on each other the percentage will go down. Only attacks made directly against the other player (including as a transformed creature) will effect hitpoints unless an effect states otherwise. The character who hits 0% first is the loser. A player can also forfiet the match. Another way to lose is to simply run out of useable cards in a match. So you must use your limited supply wisely.

Lost Empires Overview IV: Mythic Rings and BattleMage Profiles

Not everyone in the world can duel, and those who can are only able to duel with others who have the ability. So no one can use their cards on an average person, the conduit stone was built with these safeguards in place. Mythic rings are the equipment which allow people to duel, each ring has a small piece of the conduit stone inside it, and also holds the spirit of an ancient battle mage from the mythic wars.

The mythic rings are not easy to obtain, there are only about 100 or of them in the world, they cannot be destoryed, and they cannot be stolen, the only way to obtain one is to win one wagered in a duel (which you would need a mythic ring in the first place to duel) or to be given one with the original owner verbally handing it over to you.

Battlemage profiles give you a passive boost to your abilites in battle depending on whose spirit youve inherited in your ring. The effects are usually minor, such as a climbing ability or added accuracy with projectiles, but you will gain more effects as you win duels.

@Ryougu actually I just realised you were first, I should offer you priorituy on the first battle
