@SleepingSilence I was specifically referring to the conservative christian movement in MDK's post about them calling pokemon satanic and that Harry Potter encouraged witchcraft, I'm not saying that nobody on the left has ever criticized a video game, I'm plenty aware of all that. But the vast majority of the anti-video game movement in the 90s was a conservative movement there is little debate.

Yep, the backstory needs work, but I'm missing info on the lore such as a timeline of events. and other things. Do you think you can work on that?

Absolutely, it wont be too lore heavy, basically there was a string of world wars after the 50s that basically destroyed most civilisations across the world. Countries still existed, but people moved to where was most inhabitable. And the Island of Izaoyi (where the RP is set) is a small island off the japanese mainland. The academy your characters went to was an american military school but it was bombed and only the 5 in this RP were the survivors.

They're not wholly wrong, in the case of wolfenstein, for the devs of it clearly didn't give a shit about historicity.

You mean a game set in an alternate reality where nazi's pilot armored mechas and have cyborg dogs patrolling their super castle isn't entirely accurate? Someone better alert the gaming authorities before it gets out of hand. Next thing you know the protagonist is going to have regenerating health after a few seconds after being shot, totally unrealistic.

Because if we know one thing about the wolfenstien series, they always strive for historical realism.

But isnt this coming from the same people who are like: why cant games just be games? And only Ess Jay Dubyoos complain about them?

Anita Sarkeesian got ripped apart because she didn't play the games she was critiquing. But if these guys think there is some 'left wing video game bias' which you can only kill white villains instead of non white ones, Nazis and not communists, Christians and not other religious groups then they clearly suffer the same problem.
