-Ruby- So I guess we have to figure out how to beat something that can change how all of our actions work. That'll be a doozy.

Let's find a pattern, should there be one.

I hate that!

'Tis all good now though. I ate Philly Cheese Steaks.

The U.S. is the best.

But other places are cool too.

What? No.

Ha, yes.

The U.S. has one of the worst internet infrastructures in the entire world.

Another reason for me to move to New Zealand.

The problem is that in most areas (at least here), the fiber runs along the length of the road, but switches to copper to actually get to houses. That means no real savings.

Fun fact: internet speeds are measured in megabits, which are 1/8 of a megabyte. Your internet would be .1625 MB/s, or 162.5 KB/s.

It's got something to do with that. I'm just going off what I heard the internet guy say when he came by this morning. I was eavesdropping.

That's comforting.

Oh, wow. That's terrible. How did you ever manage to do YouTube?

I didn't always live out here. Where I used to live, I was in one of the two smaller towns I mentioned, and internet was great out there.

How is it even possible for wifi to be that bad? :[

I live ina super rural area on a back road between two small towns. So few people live out here that they've never bothered upgrading the lines that run to our house. We still have copper wire instead of fiber.
