Here's my first pass at a goblin gadgeteer:
The doors of the Great Hall were pushed open as two retainers dressed in fine gold threaded tunics stepped inside. They were quickly followed by two more wearing even more finely tailored tunics who made their way in perfectly matched step several paces forward before peeling off to each side, lifting horns to their lips and blasting a short refrain to draw the attention of everyone in the chamber, caring little that they were interrupting Kamahl's introduction.

As the notes died away another retainer, more resplendently adorned than any any of his companions marched up between them. "Presenting Onartu Sustrai María Carmella del Rosario Cayetana Laurens de Laurensia, third daughter of Maximillian Ferdinant del Marcasia Florentis Laurens de Laurensia III, Saritua Sustrai of the Laurensia Freeholdings, Ambassador and representing Council member of the most noble and esteemed Laurensia Freeholdings province," he announed in a loud bellowing voice which echoed from the far walls as he puffed his chest out pridefully before also stepping aside.

Rolling her eyes at the pointless display Carmella quickly strode up the hall with two handmaidens following her closely, leaving the retainers to scurry away out of the room, their duties completed. "I'm so sorry about all that," she said with a pained smile, "My father insisted we make a good impression for our new Queen."

Turning her eyes over the scene, Carmella saw the the war priest standing nearby and the mass of vines criss-crossing their way across the floor. "I'm dreadfully sorry, I appear to have interrupted something. Don't mind me, I'll just be over here." Following her pointed finger, Lady Laurens stepped over to the chair nearby beaering the sigil of her house, something her father had shipped ahead of time to ensure it would be ready for his ambassador's use when the time came.

Flicking her long gown around her hips Carmella lowered herself down as her two handmaidens pushed the chair under her before stepping back either side of their mistress. The Laurensi noble settled back, shifting from side to side as she made herself comfortable on the padded seat before looking over at the gathering with a satisfied grin.
I was thinking some needlessly pompous stuff like 'His beatitude Samael' or 'The Virtuous Samael' just to really get on people's nerve.

Carmella: "How about 'Killer'? Or 'His Nuttiest of Fruitcakes'?"

-(Name Pending): While Aldrich is able to easily brush off insults levied at himself, he does not take kindly to insults or sleights against Gisela or his late father, and such remarks will incite him easily.

'Royalist'? 'Honour Guard'? 'Triggered'?

Pull a sword on him maybe? Just be aware he doesnt know your customs and unless told different will belive that is how you greet others.

Considering the conversation a moment ago, drawing a blade in the Queen's presence may cause an unwanted reaction from the Royal Guards. On the other hand, it would play perfectly into Samael's 'witchhunting' persona.
I was considering freelance or security. But with a particular augmentation I have in mind for the future, I'm currently leaning towards either handling EuroCorp's dirty work, working for the EDF, or for BLCK.

Why not do both, and have him be a BLCK operative working on secondment with the EDF? He could be a 'civilian' liaison from the EPA working with the military to help joint operations between the police's elite Unit BLCK and the EDF, with the ability to advise the EDF when to deploy their forces in areas where the EPA traditional hold juridiction.

Or the reverse, with him representing the EDF within Unit BLCK? Perhaps as a military training officer there to help prepare the elite unit for heavy actions? Or just the flipside of my previous suggestion, the military liaison co-ordinating joint operations in EPA territory?

Another possibility would be that he was Military Police/Internal Affairs (which could have been conceded to the EPA and Unit BLCK due to corporate restructuring), with the authority to press charges against any EDF personnel who he felt was acting against the best interested of EuroCorp Europa.
are we talking about undead people?

~glances in Samael's direction furtively~ ...no?

Definitely no necromancy going on in Laurensia, even though it would probably be really profitable if you could figure out what material goods undead spirits might want to buy. And figure out a way to get paid by them.

And you can't go to war with the church lol.

*cough* Henry the VIII *cough*

...so I meant to replace him/that he never existed.

All record of him and his entire family line erased from history? Man, the Church are really mean to people they don't like.
Accepted, the doctor character tab will see you now.

: ~pops up wearing a nurse's outfit, snapping on a rubber glove~
"Aww, does this mean the highly invasive and humiliating examination has been cancelled too?"
As for the Paladin bit, they can come from the lower rungs but to quote my CS "Samael was born Albrech Sylvester, first son of a high profile noble in Vrenal." He's first grade nobility and had a pretty powerful career in front of him, the fact that he renounced all that actually makes him ooze goodliness even more annoyingly so.

The fact he'd renounced his family name and titles would mean that he had no standing in Court, and so would be treated in a similar way to any lowborn commoner or bastard offspring by the stuck up prigs high born noble houses. He wouldn't be able to claim the station of a noble after doing that unless he'd gained control of those resources some other way.

Hence the suggestion of his heretical family.

Technically this would mean that his province would be under control of the Church, with Samael merely acting as their mouthpiece.

Luckily Carmella would have no such prejudice against him, but the way he kept killing anyone who spoke out against the word of his manifestation of dissociative identity disorder god wouldn't please the Laurensi lady. Mainly beacuse it's far more difficult to sell things to someone when they're dead, except in very special and specific circumstances which Samael definitely wouldn't be pleased about.

Should I replace Montisle with that?
That depends. How much did Corvinus upset the Church with his sinful ways, calling Samael's judgement down upon his head?

Or how much did the High Clerics covet Montisle prosperity for themselves, manipulating Samael into seizing the province to give them access to the wealth?
but I swear I'm not creepy!

That's what all the creepy ones say. Don't worry though, I'm not creepy either. ;)
I figger Lady Luxta is probably a real good person to practice against, given her defensive combat style.

Not really great though, since if you train against opponents who're always defensive you'll struggle against more aggressive opponents in real combat.
...nothing is being recorded, so any information that happens when Anya is focusing on her own augment is basically lost.

So after waiting seventeen hours staking out her target, Anya looks away for five seconds and they slip right passed her...
