Cooling jet- Rin sends out a stream of cool air from his hands, which he often uses when things are overheating. It is not an offensive ability.

Personality
Rin is an imaginative young man who wants nothing more than to make great inventions that can help the world. However, unless it's talking about technology, he's pretty... reclusive. Ever the introvert, he likes to keep to himself mostly. Rin is most at home in the engine room or at his workshop, being left to his own devices and being brought up when his talents are needed. Of course, he's not entirely emotionally detached. He's just not very sociable. Machinery gets him. They're simple, they have answers and simple ways to fix or make them. People are weird and way more complex than a circuit board could ever be.

However, he's always offering his help, especially when it comes to tech. It's part of the reason he got so good at working at it. At despite the fact he's not overly fond of people, he has a deep want to help as many of them as he can, and if his ideas and technological prowess could help with it then even better.

History
Born in Xian itself, Rin was born to Osaka and Mei Tsukuri. His father, Osaka, was a retired Diver, now fisherman whereas his mother worked in an administrative position for the port, keeping a track of which ships was pulling in and out of the docks. Rin had a pretty normal youth, constantly being around his father and mother at the Xian Docks, getting to meet all sorts of characters from around the world. When his parents gave permission, some of the visitors would give Rin tours of the ships they arrived in. Even in those early days, it was obvious what Rin would want to do when he grew up. When Osaka was back from his fishing trips, he would teach Rin how to fish. Needless to say, he didn't get too good at it. While his father did that, Mei would teach Rin a more people-related skillset. How to be kind and respectful. It was a fair and honest upbringing, but his people skills never really went beyond a required level to be at least agreeable with.

His real calling was inventing. He'd always get excited when the Tinkerers were coming to port. A couple of them got pretty well acquainted with the Tsukuri family, entirely because of Rin. One inventor in particular offered tutelage to young Rin whenever he was in town. He could see the spark in the young boy's eyes whenever he was around machines. His parents agreed, and slowly but surely, Rin was taught different tools, mechanisms, materials and everything in between. When he wasn't being given lessons, he would be experimenting and creating. First, it was clever pulleys and rube goldberg contraptions that would help his mother around the house after a hard day of work. Then it was a back brace that would assist his father in lifting.

That's when he struck intellect gold. The rocket boots. It took some time. Any material he used was from old or spare parts that nobody wanted or gifts from his tutor. Of course, no one would test it but himself, and it resulted in many bruises and marks from being propelled forward into tables and walls at ludicrous speeds. One time he managed to make it from his house to the docks in one boost. However, he ended up tumbling across the dockyard and into the water. Thankfully it was a calm day for the Mother Sea when that fiasco happened. His mother was NOT impressed. However, after several months of frustrations, nights sleeping at his desk and a small explosion here or there, he finally did it. Even his teacher was impressed.

When his parents and teacher saw this, they agreed that it was time Rin could set out on his own. Now Rin wonders about, offering his mechanical expertise and selling his gadgets and gizmos for anyone that's willing. He's set out to use his talents to help others and hope to discover and invent new technologies on his adventures. Of course, the greatest treasure to him would be the lost technology of Gaea. The technology could change the world...

Gear
His tools and tinkering kits are usually kept in his quarters or maintenance room. His proudest invention, the rocket boots, are always strapped to his feet, and he keeps a pouch of small, handcrafted aether cells to keep them powered up. Although, if he can damage an aether cell, rendering it volatile, they can also be used as an effective weapon.

Arin chuckled a little. "I REALLY want to meet this crew. That's how much this is worth for me. You don't start this high unless you really want it." He explained. Also a perceptive one, he also took a quick look around. Something about the Black Widow had come about. It wasn't his blade that did it, but some people might think it was him if he had that kind or reputation, which Arin didn't think he did. However, he also looked the woman up and down. Half checking her out, half looking for details. Sure enough, he spotted the hand brushing against the hilt of a dagger that Mosovich really didn't want sticking out of him in the next few moments. He stacked the five coins on top of each other and slid over the pile towards the woman.

"I'll say it again. Five gold for any information you have about that Guild. And maybe an introduction to who you might be." Arin smirked.

Appearance:

Finn stands at a tall 6' 2", and is often described as a grizzled, bear of a man. Oldened and wisened from his experience and age (although he doesn't like to admit it), it's very obvious he's seen his fair share of battles. Other than that, his appearance matches exactly that of the image above, save for his symbols which are placed on his gun axes and gloves, as well as a giant version on the back of his brown jacket.

Background:
Descended from a long line of Hunters and Huntresses, it was only a matter of time before Finn started his own journey. Gifted the axes of his father and mother, called Huginn and Muninn, when he enrolled, Finn excelled at combat and was noted by the Haven professors for his ferocity. With a clean record and above average grades, he immediately began a career as a huntsman. However, he decided to strike out on his own, and became a solo huntsman, journeying through the woods by himself.

Travelling on his own, he learned the lays of the land and learnt how to traverse them pretty well, and use them to his advantage. From snowy mountains to thick forests, Finn saw it all as he hunted Grimm. He returned back to Haven and became a professor for combat for a while, gifting his talents to the younger generation. From there, he passed on the knowledge of combat, being a wayfinder and the ins and outs of surviving in the wilds. Fancying a change of scenery, he became a professor at Beacon and enjoyed his career there. Until Ragnarok came.

Now all Finn CAN do is make sure that the remaining students are safe. His family were huntsmen, they would survive without him. The students were his responsibility before this... plague game. That hasn't changed. The only thing that has changed is he'll just drill into the students after a close call rather than drilling into them all the time. Whatever happens, no student that is with him will die to this before he does. That's a promise.

Weapon:
Huginn and Muninn

Finn wields two axe guns that were passed onto him from his parents. Preferring a berserker style, the twin axes are brutal weapons that punish if they can be chained together in a flurry of attacks, and Finn's skill makes him relentless in his assaults. He can also fit a variety of dust cartridges in there, as well as regular ammo sets. He usually puts one type of cartridge in Huginn and another in Muninn to combo his elemental attacks.

His fire cartridge creates a short-range blast of fire, causing brutal damage up close.

The rock cartridge releases a scattershot of small, piercing stalactites when fired.

The lightning cartridge is a one shot blast that chains to up to five enemies, shocking them and paralysing them on the spot.

The ice cartridge is also short-range and freezes an enemy in place as they're knocked back a couple of steps.

Semblance: "Valhalla Burst"
The more damage Finn takes, the faster and tougher he gets. Think of it like hyped up adrenaline. While it does not increase his physical strength or damage, it does increase his speed and his ability to shrug off attacks also increases. While he may still be taking and feeling the attacks, he'll find it a lot easier to work through the pain or shunt off the impact as his body's speed increases. An average human can run at 10-15 miles per hour. Finn can increase this to 30 miles per hour. However, there is a catch. He can only keep this ability in a fight. The effects dwindle a lot more rapidly when he's using this as an escape tool, but activating the full effect becomes a lot easier when he's running at the enemy.
