Achilles, still drinking at the bar, interjected gently.

"I don't know much; you said a lot of things. But I know if the turrets fail there will still be hard men ready to defend the community. As many as there are ready to knock it down, hopefully. This morning the Sheriff got a nice pile'f guns for his deputies to sling. Ammo for days too.

"Guess you aren't local, don't know me. Used to be on th'other side. Wouldn'ta switched if I didn't reckon the community way was better."

He shrugged as if it was of little consequence to him. He had chosen his side, it was this fellow's right to do the same.
Well I'm here, obviously.

Maybe do a roll call post, mention everyone's name so they get a message.
Still here, of course.

Just there's been a lot of posts happening outside of the bar and not much use for my character.
I may have gone off the rails with mine. We can say it was a one time thing, or call that the upper limit of her powers that she won't normally be able to reach.
Would it be too much killjoy if someone rationally points out that the vault dweller is making capitalism based deals with several bar patrons?

Achilles wouldn't, at least. He probably doesn't fully understand what communism is.
"Thank you!" Charlotte said enthusiastically to the ghost. "We have to get to class, which way is it?" The spirit pointed silently, and Charlie grabbed Layla's hand and almost dragged her down the hallway toward their destination. They were late, and needed to get to class quickly, but Charlotte was reflecting that today was already a great first day. She had rescued a real live Damsel in Distress, and had made friends with a ghost. Not to mention conquering her first magical foe: the wandering door.

Charlotte burst loudly through the door as the Professor was writing something on the chalk board.

"Oh..." Charlotte deflated a little. "Sorry, we're late."
Let us instead discuss.

What it means.

To have dreadlocks.

Unofficially.
Isabel was dazed, and when she looked back up, expecting to see a gun in her face, she was just in time to catch all of the gun-men surrounding her suddenly flailing and recoiling at nothing. Some shouted in pain, but all stopped firing for a moment.

Looking at these humans, she was filled with hate. They had no regard for life, they feared people like her so much that they would kill everyone here for it. Many were humans, but even then they didn't deserve this treatment.

Her yellow eyes shimmered as her power ramped up. She held a hand out at the nearest agent before they began to fire again. His head twisted itself around, with a sickening wet crunch. He was lifted off the ground, floating limply for a second before flying at speed and ramming another of the assailants and knocking him bodily into a wall.

Isabel rose to her feet and psy blasted another gun wielding crony as she made her way to the door. She lifted another into the air, twisting his arms until they broke and his gun clattered to the ground. He started screaming as he floated toward her, forming a live flesh and bone barrier between her and anyone who would shoot at her.
@Tip, you gonna post? If not, I'll bring us to class.

"Is there a problem, sirs? If there's gonna be a lil'... altercation in 'ere, I'd suggest takin' it outside, away from me an' all the other ordinary folk jus' tryin' to enjoy their drinks."

Achilles stood from his chair to look this man in the face, getting between him and Patrick. They were roughly the same height, and stood nose to nose, but Achilles left his gun in its holster. He trusted that he could draw before this other guy could pull the trigger. If he were good with his gun, Achilles knew from experience with hard men, he wouldn't feel the need to draw first.

"No problem," he intoned calmly, in his customary clipped dialogue, "You're the only one with a weapon out. Put it away and we all go back to our drinks, like you say."

He had been in bar brawls before, but most of the time people left it with fists in the civilized confines of a town. Achilles was actually somewhat surprised to find someone who was willing to escalate the situation to a possible gunfight.
