"Let's," Fazra replied in a growl to Cyrano. Her polite demeanor was gone, replaced by a sudden battle fury. Though when the armored man announced his heraldry, a small voice in the back of her mind acknowledged it. She did not know the place he mentioned, but a Sir is a Sir, as far as she cared.

She charged down the tunnel, keeping toward the right to leave room for Cyrano beside her. The spider creature that accompanied the knight had spun a web to capture the undead thing. It wasn't enough to hold it, but it destructed it enough that it didn't bring its axe up in time to catch Fazra's hammer as it swing into the thing's head.

The helmet caved in, and the sound of crunching bone could be heard. The dead thing staggered, but did not fall, despite the grotesque angle its neck now bent at.
Fazra grunted in response, her head was already tilted as she tried to triangulate the sound she had picked up on.

"You saw nothing coming this way? Whatever I hear is from the direction you came."

When she walked down the tunnel a short ways, she found that the sound echoed from a smaller offshoot tunnel from the Road. Down it, she could see a light, small but quickly growing as it approached. It had the flickering quality of a flame, so she took it for a torch.

Fazra lifted her hammer so that the light from it shone brightly down the tunnel, and called "Who goes there?"
Aud waved her hand at Ig's condolences, but kept one half of the board with her, holding it by the truck so that the jagged edge faced outward. It would make a half decent weapon if she needed it.

When they found the creature at the center, she wasn't sure if she would need a weapon. It had a wicked looking blade on the end of its tail, but it was also weak, and when she saw it, she realized that the fluid spread along the corridor must be its blood.

<Controllers?>

"Controllers of what?" she asked aloud. Even as she spoke, she realized that the voice had been in her head, she covered her mouth with her free hand as the thought struck her. Was the creature in her mind right now?

<Controllers of what?> she repeated, but only in her mind, in case the creature only spoke through telepathy.
Name: Audrey Springer

Appearance: A skinny girl with nut brown skin, and shiny, straight black hair cut in a pixie cut. Her almond eyes are vivid green, and her face is often without makeup, though her head is rarely seen without a hat. Her face tends toward the deadpan, and she dresses for comfort, usually in favorite ripped jeans and loose tops in the summer. Fall and winter will see more intact jeans and flannels.

It is not at all uncommon for her to be adorned with scrapes or gashes, and occasionally even stitches. They're usually found on her arms, from breaking her fall while skating.

Age: 18

Personality: Generally friendly and conversational in disposition, but her refusal to be stepped on often makes her come off as "bitchy." She's quick to remark that the same behavior in men would be considered normal. She does have to admit that she has a temper, and is easy to get in a fight with. This, along with her general vulgarity tend to get her in trouble, but she's quick to forgive her friends(not so quick to forgive an authority figure).

History: Audrey has somewhat hands off parents. Her father(a materials engineer who works in green energy) is usually working. Her mother is a Japanese national and is often across the Pacific working for a partner of the lab her father works for. Audrey is proud of the work her parents do, and is known to wear T-shirts from her father's lab. The absence of her parents has made her an independent child from a young age. She got into hobbies and habits that they wouldn't agree with, but weren't present enough to forbid.

Skills: Skate boarding, high pain tolerance, scrappy.
Audrey was on her longboard today, cruising on one of the best patches of unused asphalt in the city. The lot behind the mall had a decent slope, and she could get a lot of mileage out of a few kicks.

It was a good thing it wasn't her trick board, or else she would likely have lost her balance as the earth shook beneath her. But the longboard was stable, and she just stood up straighter and tried to ride out what she originally took to be an earthquake.

But an earthquake shouldn't have caused that rent in the lot, and as she looked at it, something metal suddenly materialized, flashing lights and fires and all. Her mouth gaped as she subconsciously leaned to veer towards the crash site. Some others were heading there too, an when she arrived at the craft, someone was trying to get a stuck door open.

Aud cruised right to the edge of the crater, where she jumped off her board and let it fall into the hole. She picked it up and, motioning quietly for Ig to move, she jammed one end into the crack and used it as a lever.

It wasn't ideal, but even as the wood of the longboard started cracking with her whole body weight being pushed into it, she could see some progress in moving the stuck door. With a huge last effort, the door opened about three feet wide, at the expense of the board which gave way as well, cracking raggedly in half.
The masked creature drew more words in the air.

"Im mutt-ee. Moot. No, Mute. And not "im" but I am. You are Eh-Cho and you do not speak because you are mute. I understand." Fazra hefted the hammer back over her shoulder and lifted the goggles once again so she could look at the two properly. The other was taller than her, and looked to be made of moving stone. A gargoyle? She had seen one once, but half of his head had been crumbled away and he was unintelligible. The gargoyle posited that Eh-Cho was communicating by the light, and seemed to have come upon the realization a little faster. This did not bother Fazra, some people were smarter than her. Few were stronger, though, that was her pride.

"Apologies. I am Ser Fazra Roadborn, Knight Errant from Sungrave. Cyrano, Eh-Cho, you are both well met." She used the courtesy speak that she had learned to represent her station as an anointed knight, as well as the nickname that other knights had saddled her with in place of a surname.
I have not forsaken you. I'm reading what's happened in my absence right now.

EDIT: I have to go take care of something, but I'm going to finish and post today. Promise.

So, a few things I was working on. Hawlin(I believe, correct me if I'm wrong since I didn't check) and I were working on something to bring some necromancy in to his character. There seems to be a few people going that direction, but I think that's okay, given the themes of undead we've been looking at. I'm going to bring a new NPC and artifact to the table very soon which will explore the incorporeal side of necromancy.

I'm also going to get the second group moving, so if Mathias and Lila move their direction, have no fear of them being frozen.

We also have a Farmgirl.

No, she does drugs too, definitely. Probably meth.
Probably Audrey's too...
@t2wave

So, the GM has gone, I don't really know for sure how things will be run.

I suppose if anyone has a problem with t2wave's character, speak now or forever hold your peace.
