I think that would be a perfectly agreeable limit, although it puts one of our characters well beyond a normal life span(without looking, I think Kaiden is listed as nearly 700).

So I think my last question is really just for Ambra to give the true answer for: what happens at the end of that lifespan? Particularly as they show no signs of aging.

If I post my character before this is resolved, I will leave age blank.

@13org

I don't think that that will considered canon in this RP. For instance, regarding the last note, Ambra has confirmed that there is no magic(overt sorcery, I took them to mean) in this world.

It is also assuming more traditional dragons, not our much more social dragon shifters.

1500 sounds fine for a maximum, I suppose. Though that makes most of our characters exceptionally young.

I just need it to be set in stone so that we know how characters should treat each other in regards to their age.

@Ambra ( I know you may not see this for a while)

I have a concern about ages:

Dragons live for "hundreds of years," which implies a limit(otherwise you would say they were immortal, would you not?). And yet they don't age visibly. How do they die, then?

What actually is the upper limit of age? I'm not sure what is considered an old dragon. I can see that Kaiden is the oldest(whose age is give) but I don't know if he's super old, or just like middle aged.

Does anyone else have thoughts on the matter, in the mean time?

Guys, one thing.

Romance will be a thing in this RP, so maybe don't have your charries wed off already? :P

And maybe make a couple women, unless it's gonna be guy lovin' round here.

Guys, something came up and i have to poof for like a week. If you get too impatient you can accept charries and start.

Cool, I feel like I get a bit of a reprieve on making my characters.

One of mine was going to be a game warden. His(might change it to female, but I don't know) job is to make sure that there's enough hunting to be had for all, which means enforcing regulations(not always easy when we're talking about dragons) and ensuring that other predators don't encroach on land.
Does telepathy carry the danger of another invading your mind?(think like in the Inheritance series). Basically, can you read thoughts by force? Can you implant foreign thoughts without the victim knowing?

No. They're all european styled. :)

Quadruped and winged, yeah? Horns too?

I assume they come in all colors. Is there any correlation between draconian and human form? For instance, scale color is the same as eye or hair color, or maybe they have skin markings or something?

Can dragons talk? In English, or a completely different language? EDIT: in dragon form, I mean. Of course human form can.
That was a question about mindset, not any literal physical trait.
Do all dragons have a human form? Or are there "wild" dragons as well?

Is either form considered "primary"? Maybe that's a difference between the houses, maybe one values their humanity and another their draconinty. The third might take a middle path.

But that's probably too simplistic.
Cool, so tell us about the three houses, what are the differences between them, who rules each, etc?

Are you born into your house, like it's a familial line thing, or can you defect?

How big are dragons? Are they capable of artistry, forging etc? Do they build houses, or live in caves?

Can we play as humans? What technology level are the humans, and what is their society like?

Why has nobody ever flown across the sea? Did nobody know what was over there?

There's a reference to other dangerous creatures living on Athea, what are they? Is it meant to be that they are dangerous to dragons?

How long do dragons live?

Do they have writing, or just a sort of oral tradition?

Any other expansions on our knowledge of this world would be appreciated.

EDIT: Oh, is there magic? Or are dragons purely biological creatures? Do they all breath fire, or maybe some have different breaths?
So is this an original universe, or a fandom thing?
