"Well, that's difficult. The city moves, you see. Flying," they moved a hand above their head as if to demonstrate something flying, and made whooshing noise. "Runs on the energy of the people. It's magnificent, actually, but it hasn't flown by here in months. I can't be of much help if you want to go looking for it."

"Yes," Bailon interjected finally, "Sorry we couldn't be of any more help, but good luck to you, have a nice day!" She said this very quickly, in a higher voice than normal.

"Oh. Fairwell to you!"

They waited until the soldiers were gone and out of sight before flying away themselves.
Name: Eroebus

Age: 24
Kingdom: Vespora
God/Goddess: Hades
Occupation: Street charlatan.
Short Bio: Starting from the ripe old age of thirteen, Eroebus found work among a mercenary company. They were quite wealthy, and he had some decent training after they saw that he had survived his first handful of skirmishes.
Eroebus worked with them for nearly a decade, picking up the usual habits of gambling and drinking in off times, and quite handily portraying the Vesporan sellsword stereotype. He was forced out of he company after an injury to his shoulder. Though he recovered, he was no longer able to lift his shield all the way and, unable to form a phalanx properly, he was considered a liability.

Now Eroebus is among Vespora’s unusually high population of crippled veterans. Without a family trade or business to fall back on, he found that he could carve a niche out for himself in big cities by passing off pizar, an exotic card game, as a form of fortune telling. He works the streets, giving fortunes for coin. His deft fingers allow him to doctor the results when he lays out his cards, showing what he wants people to see.

Eroebus currently works in the capital of far flung Adlan, though he finds it a little tougher of a crowd.
Two questions.

Can I request a variation in the power for Hades’ champion. I don’t think of Hades as a particularly dark god, so much as maybe a little grim. I was thinking instead of shadow control, maybe the champion can slip back and forth between the material plane and the underworld. As they become more powerful, they could delve deeper, and stay there longer.

The second thing is: are we only using Greek gods? The time period and cultures won’t be inspired by Ancient Greece?
I was hoping to take Hephaestus, though I was thinking of leaning more into the metal working side.

How’s this, they can treat any metal as though it were red hot from the forge. So, soft and maleable(although still requiring some force to shape). They don’t actually heat the metal, just when they interact with it(even indirectly through a hammer) it is workable.

Before learning control, they would constantly break metal objects, as they lose structural integrity.

Well never mind, I seem to have taken too long posting. I’ll pick one of the others.

Ah, I like a lot of them, it’s hard.

Hades, I will reserve. If no one else has any particular designs on that one.
I am interested.
"Yes, some. It is a peaceful place, ruled over by a single monarch. We have not had need for war in some time. It has been peaceful for as long as I can remember." Another technical truth. The planet's almost barbaric level of warfare ended before Epsilon was released. In fact, the end of the war was responsible for their position now.

Bailon jabbed Epsilon in the back, but they kept talking.

"I'm afraid, though, my guardian and I live simple lives, out of the way. I don't know much about city life, or politics."
@lightningalpha1

Forgot to mention(and I don’t think it works when you edit it in).
You still looking for anything in particular, or just something original?

How would you feel about royalty/nobility x sworn knight/protector?
@PaulHaynek

Would it be inappropriate or infeasible to introduce my character by a request in the story, in which they have to be rescued or something similar?
