I saw the interest thread, was kind of interested. No way I could read through the thread, though, so is there a plot summary, or just a good opportunity to for a new character to be introduced?
@Demon Shinobi

Bailon and Epsilon Thirteen answered the first question at the same time.

Bailon gave a curt “No.”
Epsilon calmly answered “Yes.”

Bailon gave her pupil a brief, exasperated look. Technically, the answers were correct. But Bailon had been hoping not to be called upon to answer the soldier’s questions.

Bailon’s body language betrayed fear, if only barely. She moved so that she was slightly further away from the soldier than Epsilon was. Epsilon, meanwhile, did not move at all, except for her eyes to follow the soldier.

“Useful to what end?” Epsilon Thirteen countered the request for information in a calm, polite tone.
I do have discord, but usually I rp here.
Permanent OCs are cool, means you know the character well.

I’d still be open to partnerships, and if Nuriko never shows up, maybe you and I could do something.
@Gayspacerock@Nuriko

The best RP I’ve ever had was with a three person group, with more of a partnership than GM/player relationship. I’ve been wanting something similar, but haven’t ever quite got it.

So I don’t know if you two would be open to a trio deal, but I thought I’d put it out there.

I too am a big fantasy fan, medieval or otherwise. I love worldbuilding, but can definitely play fandom as well. My only hangup is that I don’t play canon characters.

I have noticed that Nuriko is listed as last seen 13 days ago, so that might be a little worrisome.
The sounds of swift strikes, and heavy servo-motors echoed in a large, dimly lit underground room. There was a large construction, a little like a crane or arm that was holding a spider-like robot on one end. The simple, triangular robot had four arms on each of its three surfaces, and they were whirling around, difficult to see with their speed. The arm, arching above the field occasionally, and very suddenly moved, bringing the many armed bot to different positions as Android Epsilon Thirteen rushes about it.

They deflected blow after blow, each one punctuated with a sharp, but quiet “Ta!” The tie-bot couldn’t seem to touch them, no matter how it moved about the room, or how many of its twelve arms it brought into play. And still, the fight did not end, because the Android, more powerful though they were, made no attempt to strike back.

“Strike!” Came a voice from the shadows on the side of the field, “You’re wasting my time as much as yours!”

Epsilon Thirteen glanced briefly out of the corner of their eye at their instructor, then suddenly thrust their palm past the machine’s guard, right into the center of its torso. They forced a measured dose of synthetic ki into it through their palm, and it very suddenly grew still.

The heavy duty arm overhead continued to reposition the tri-boy, as if it were still making evasive maneuvers, but Epsilon Thirteen ignored it, and walked back to their master. They were dressed in nothing but their standard issue under garments, not wanting to tear their only set of clothes in a training simulation. They approached Bailon Kresh, awaiting an appraisal.

Bailon sighed, “Perfect form, but I’d like to see how fast you can get. It’s too bad, no matter how fancy the training machine, you yourself are the most advanced technology I can get my hands on.”

“I apologize for my…”

“None of that. It has its drawbacks in training, but it’s precisely why I…”

She stopped suddenly, clutching her cane and staring around almost blankly. Epsilon Thirteen had seen this behavior before, and knew to switch on their scouting subroutines. Several arrows and number displays appeared in their peripheral vision, blinking to indicate new energy signals. Several of them were unusually high for this world, and not far away at all.

When Epsilon Thirteen paid attention again to their teacher, she was already halfway up the stairs and out into the filtered sunlight of the forest floor, where their underground facility’s only entrance was. The Android was beside Bailon in the space of a blink, and the two took flight together as soon as the sky was visible.

Soon they stood at some distance from the fresh craters in the ground, looking at the figure, tiny at this distance, that had already climbed out.

Bailon shaded her eyes with a hand. “I can’t see right, is it…?” Her voice was strained, shaking with anxiety.

“Yes, master. GFA.”

“Shit.”

There was a rumor in a nearby public house of an old merc who had his titan partner holding an antenna for a television. While nobody had the guts to laugh within earshot, it was a source of some amusement around town. The story was of an unusual amount of interest to another of the town's visitors. When Holly went out to see the titan-squandering soldier, she saw someone who reminded her a little of herself. A battle scarred veteran, old for a soldier, but still young for any other standard of measure. How much like her would he be?

"That's a lot of hardware just to get a signal," she said as she approached. "Don't you think you might find a more worthwhile use for that titan?"
Wow, I forgot to subscribe this topic, so I missed people coming in. My bad, and here I was thinking everyone just kinda fucked off.

So I think the best way to start this will be a kind of recruiting portion. You guys can post intros to your characters, putting them in a position for Holly to take notice/approach them. We can do them as short scenes one at a time, or just run them concurrently and assume that there's time in between them. I like one at a time better, because then the people who have already been gathered can be involved in the rest of the scenes.

It'll be first come first serve, so feel free to get posting.
