H.M. Murdock is a man of many skills and talents, a fact that is evident despite his “eccentric” personality.

(below needs to be rewritten since it is a C&P):

Murdock's primary role in the team is as a pilot. He claims that he can fly anything with wings, and this seems to be borne out by the show. He can also drive a semi, and operate construction equipment. Though he doesn't usually drive the team around, when it's necessary he can be very skilled at evading pursuit. In addition to flying and driving, Murdock is capable of piloting a sailboat. He knows how to ride a horse, parachute, and SCUBA dive. He can pick a lock.

Murdock actually has extensive knowledge of various subjects and keeps up on current events, showing a genius level aptitude. He can speak many different languages. He can communicate in Morse code. He has photographic memory, is a talented actor, and often accompanies Face on his scams. He is also capable of impersonating the voices of famous individuals and mimicking many different foreign accents.

So I did some thinking and I can confirm I'm going with Murdock. But there's only one visualization I have for him...

Heh, I suppose it was.

And Burn Notice is excellent so you should try to get over your qualms with the voice, because considering the character it makes sense. Not to mention the personas he puts on are far more lively and interesting. Not including the last two seasons, but its one of my favorite shows because it does the spy/macgyver thing way better than anyone else.

Believe me, I know. I worry when people say “anime”, “over-the-top”, and “action” too. When I say over-the-top I think zany yet still malleable within the setting’s technical guidelines and tropes. I’m not going to dual wield gun-chainsaw-scythe’s— I’m not out to endorse a RWBY power fantasy or anything. I grew up with syndication of A Team so I know how camp and ridiculous it has to be.

That sounds a lot like giving up to me! Jokes aside, but believe me I've been there. Most of my old crew are fully retired as well between responsibilities, changing interests, and other priorities... it's hard to do. We still do the occasional one-shot but it's kind of melancholic looking back at the last fifteen years.
