Makes the real Captain America not as special.

We don’t want to overuse and undermine the significance of the super soldier serum.
I feel like we should probably keep super soldier serum to a minimum, though.
Are there no other famous wizards in Mythology?

Nah. People just don't care about Baba Yaga, Medea, Gwydion, Vainamoinen, Atlantes, The Telchines, etc.
Trying to find what I need to read to decide on? Link to the CS/Post?
Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know I'm still here; I've run into a busy patch the last 2 days, don't worry though, I'm still here!

I had an idea, that Kingpin was injected by a variation of the Super Soldier Serum which is the reason for his gigantic and perposterous size... thoughts?

Alternatively you can go with the x-gene.
I'll be sure to reread what you guys have done in regards to the Merlin Prime

You guys

I don't know what the heck you were smoking...

Especially considering Lost Haven is specifically told being located in Maine... in America.
Groovy, you should give me something to steal around Spider-patrol time.

ORIGIN AND BACKSTORY
Felicia Hardy was born to two loving parents to a middle class neighborhood in Queens, New York. However, tragedy would soon arrive at the doorsteps of the Hardy residence when Felicia’s father, Walter Hardy, had to flee for the safety of his family. This of course was due to the fact that in his past Walter Hardy had been known as a grifter, thief, and con artist who was known internationally as “The Black Cat”. Wanted for his crimes over his storied career of heists and cons, Walter’s crowning achievement was the theft of an experimental super soldier process— a job he never finished due to a moral turnaround at last minute thus hiding away the contents of the process in one of his many hideaways. Unfortunately for Walter, The Kingpin’s criminal syndicate were on the trail of one of his many identities and fearing for his family’s life he disappeared as he began to lead his pursuers on a wild goose chase for over a decade.

However, as noble as this may have been it was not without consequences. Felicia was distraught throughout her youth which led her to act out in angst, sadness, and anger. Despite the foundation of her childhood friends such as Mary Jane Watson, Felicia’s knack for getting into trouble outweighed her friend’s positive influence. Felicia coped with picking locks, using her wit to charm others, and getting into rough fights throughout junior high with other girls. Her mother Lydia became distant as she threatened her daughter with the consequences of juvenile activities and the fact that Felicia was turning into a misguided version of Walter— a fact that only made her mother impose more rules and threats by the time she made it into high school. Mary Jane tried to keep in touch as the two friends ended up at different high schools but it seemed Felicia was on a downward spiral.

However, one night over the summer after her freshmen year Felicia found herself ensnared. The Kingpin’s associates had finally made the connection with The Black Cat and Lydia Hardy. In order to flush out Walter they extorted Felicia’s mother and kidnapped Felicia. The truth behind her father’s disappearance was revealed and Felicia found her whole world destroyed. As her father came out of hiding to save his daughter with super soldier serum in hand something wicked happened. In order to ensure Walter’s loyalty and that he wasn’t giving them a dummy serum they did the one thing they could that made sure of the authenticity— they tested it on Felicia. Felicia’s next moments were pain, agony, and mutation. Felicia refused to die from the agonizing process.

Following the incident Felicia found herself intimidating in being trained to work for these criminals by the threat of them killing her father if she sought help, attempted action against them, or acted unfavorably. Felicia Hardy would become the second Black Cat and would serve them as their “acquisition specialist”.

Returning home to her mother, things evened out. However, things grew tenser at home as her mother starts to date widowed police detective, Harrison Thompson. She finds a friendship with his daughter, Jesse – and a rivalry with his son, Flash. But Felicia carried on… and her story continues.

POWERS & ABILITIES
  • Artificially Enhanced Physiology – Felicia has been modified due to a “super soldier serum” that has given her strength, speed, durability, agility, reflexes, and senses to a high level that is either peak human or near-superhuman. These come with a cost of altering Felicia’s brain although it seems her morality is still in-tact.
  • Probability Manipulation – Felicia has the ability to manipulate her own personal “probability field” to modify chance to play in her favor. This was a latent x-gene that mutated during her transformation process.
  • Expert Thief – Felicia is a skilled thief skilled in stealth, picking locks, escapology, evading alarms, and cracking safes.
  • Hand-to-Hand Combat – Felicia has been trained in martial forms during her time working for The Kingpin. Such training has led her to combat reflexes, superior technique, and so forth.
  • Firearms – Felicia has basic-to-intermediate firearms training.

I thought the DCAU finished before Damian was even introduced in the comics? Oh wait, you mean the new animated stuff right? :)

Speaking of that I finally got around to watching Son of Batman (never bought the DVD when it came out) and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
