The Time We Have....

Penny

For a moment, Penny was lost in her thoughts, trying to figure out what the old man was trying to say. She had a feeling that there was something coherent behind his jumbled mess of words, and it made her curious. However, she snapped out of her thoughts as soon as the waitress served the both of them their drinks, and she accepted it with a "Thank you". She looked to Quill as she took a sip out of her beverage and she listened to what he had to say. She blinked at the mention of the skate rink and she answered while rubbing the back of her head, and a blush of slight embarrassment coloring her face, "That sounds fun! But I don't really know how to skate..." She was much more used to dancing on solid ground.

Daniel

Daniel left the hotel, escaping the nagging words of his agent, but his bodyguards followed him closely. Daniel didn't bother putting on any sort of disguise and just walked around as Daniel the pop star, all because of that girl he met earlier. How could she not know who he was? The thought still plagued him. He hoped that maybe if he went around without the disguise, if that girl saw him again, maybe she would actually recognize him. He also was trying to see if any of the other citizens would recognize him and flock to him. He needed the adoration. He walked around the town with the bodyguards keeping themselves inconspicuous and silent.

Candice Ghoste and Carnelian

Carnelian huffed in offense after Soapstone replied to her, "A 'has-been'! Such brazen behavior to call a lady such as myself a 'has-been'! The nerve of it all!" She went silent as Soapstone continued speaking to Bloodstone, and hearing his answer. Candice listened as well, taking her attention off of the snowball that Mars was in (trying to make sure that it didn't melt) and her eyes widened at the mention of creatures. She had a feeling that when he said creatures, he included humans as well as the alien monsters and animals indigenous to Earth. Carnelian and Candice both looked at Aquamarine, catching on that she was just hurt by his words. They both listened to what she had to say, and after she spoke, the both of them followed after her. Carnelian followed because she had planned on going to the temple before the explosion occurred, while Candice only followed in order to get to the motorhome...and to ask Aquamarine a couple more questions before they reached her motorhome. As Candice walked off, she pointed a silent and insulted glare towards Bloodstone before walking off.

Once Carnelian caught up to Aquamarine, she tried to console the gem "Dahling, I'm sorry you had to go through all of that. That was quite insensitive of him!"
Candice pointed out to Carnelian "I don't think bringing it up is going to help," She then looked to Aquamarine and she requested, "I have a few more questions to ask you, before I head for my place. Would be okay with answering them?" She figured it would be best to give her space if she didn't want to answer.
