Candice took in Aquamarine's silent reactions to her questions carefully. She could see that she was at ease, but the laugh seemed a little condescending for some reason. She listened to Aquamarine's explanation on how her healing snowball functioned. After she had answered, she nodded and replied simply "Alright. Thank you," She had realized that they had gone past her motorhome and she stopped near the entrance of the temple after Aquamarine had finished explaining. Carnelian stopped and she asked Candice "Dahling, aren't you going to come with us?" Candice shook her head and answered "No. I'll wait out here, in case Mars needs to be healed or if he wants to go back to the motorhome after he reforms," She clearly remembered how Mars reacted to the sight of Aquamarine and Bloodstone and she didn't want to put him through that kind of stress again. She shooed Carnelian when it seemed as though she was just going to stand there, "Go on ahead. I'm sure you have your own questions that you want answered," Carnelian nodded, unsure about Candice before heading up the stairs and entering the temple.

Penny smiled at first at his comment, however it immediately disappeared when suddenly he grabbed onto her hand suddenly and dragged her out of her seat. She stumbled out and yelped "Woah! Wait, Quill! Our drinks-!" Realizing that he didn't seem to notice, she quickly grabbed a twenty dollar bill out of her pocket, with her free hand, and placed it onto a nearby empty table for a waitress to pick up before Quill had completely dragged her out of the cafe, as payment since it didn't seem like Quill would stop. At first it would seem as though they would just continue on their way to the rink until...

"Hey you there stop!"

Penny looked back to see a man pointing towards them and she noticed that he seemed to be wearing a police officer's uniform...but with no badge. Was this guy just dressing up for Halloween, or was he just not a morning person? She tried to slow Quill down and suggested "Quill, maybe we should slow down. Somebody wants to talk to us..." She had nothing to worry about. The school wasn't expecting her to come until tomorrow. They explicitly told her this in her acceptance letter.

A Take on Mythology...

@Raijinslayer I was thinking for my character, the human self would be a lot like the one human he grew to care about, the Priest he protected (as a kinda-sorta joke to this person, the human self would be female). Basically the Monkey King would've chosen this human form as, in a way, to keep the one mortal person he cared about, and everything they stood for, alive.
I'm thinking the human version would be a gymnast/martial artist/parkour athlete who puts up movies (Assassin's Creed and Spy type movies) on the Internet.

Candice noticed how Aquamarine still seemed to be hurt and even wary. She raised the snowball for Aquamarine to see, and she asked "Alright, I'm not exactly sure how your powers work. How long does Mars need to be in this snowball in order to be fully healed? And if this melts...it wouldn't hurt Mars, would it? Do I need to keep this in cold storage?" Candice wanted to focus on Mars' well being first and make sure that he would be alright. She also wanted to ask Aquamarine about why she protected Mohs Town a month ago, but considering her emotional state, Candice figured it would be an unwise decision to do so around this time. It would be better to ask her questions that tested Aquamarine's honesty at a later date, when she would be less likely to suspect Candice.

Carnelian looked to Candice as she asked her questions seriously, and getting straight to the point. Carnelian couldn't help but smile and she raised the fan to hide her smile. She couldn't help but think that the human girl was very sweet because she was so concerned about Mars' well being (whoever Mars was). Looking over her again, she also added mentally that she needed help when it came to her appearance.
