Sorry. Very behind on this RP right now as I'm juggling several things. I'll try and catch up soon.

No worries. You’re still good. It’s just your turn in initiative.

Don’t worry about the Hither posts right now. ^_^

Here’s the DM Post for the Elemental Plane of Air for your reference: roleplayerguild.com/posts/5604849
Beyond this DM post are all Hither posts that you can disregard.

Bavlorna's Cottage: Trove of Lesser Goodies (B5)

Gabriel shakes his head and answers Aurora, "I'm afraid not. None of them even looked close to the item I lost," He then grumbles in frustration as he rubbed one of his temples with one of his hands, "If she has it, then she must be keeping it somewhere else then,"

Zavakri speaks up, "We do have two more doors to check on this floor. The scales of fortune are also tipped slightly in our favor: We do know a good deal about the layout upstairs, so we're at least prepared for the second floor, without having to deal with that witch,"

Do these trickets remind Aurora of the ones from the well that the party got the boon from? More so in the matter of being connected to someone like the baubles were to the spirits?

They do give off the sense that they were connected to people. Unlike the baubles in the well though, Aurora does not get that impending feeling that someone would be looking for these items…

Bavlorna's Cottage: Trove of Lesser Goodies (B5)

Upon twisting the sigil until the sand is on the upper end of the hourglass, both Aurora and Rearden hear a click from the cupboard. It has been unlocked!

Should they open the cupboard, they will find that the inside of the cupboard is divided into rows of small compartments, each one stuffed with pouches or other tiny containers. Among the items is a teacup sized ceramic cauldron. Opening this ceramic cauldron reveals a slip of paper with one word written on it, "Spittlespew"

They also find loose buttons of various shapes, colors, and materials, stray cutlery from different sets, unopened love letters not written or addressed to Bavlorna, coiled-up belts that are old and frayed, pressed flowers and loose dried petals, a horseshoe, feathers from various birds, and a chipped teacup.

Sheer luck triumphs over skill again--that's a 19!

Very nice! XD That'll do it!

Having been in Hither for a bit, Rearden does pick up on the fact that this lock isn't just functional, but also symbolic (considering the hourglass). She figures something out:

Maybe they should try turning the hourglass to have the sands fall again?

Should Rearden or Aurora touch the panel, they'll find that it does move while remaining in place.
@Guardian Angel Haruki
Not great, not bad. Total is 10.

I suppose this will also affect whether or not Aurora will see tools to maybe open the lock?

I'll say that the roll will cover the tools aspect as well. ^_^

Aurora does see that this cupboard doesn't have your standard lock that needs to be opened with a key. No, the opening mechanism somehow works differently, but she can't figure out how. This is especially frustrating considering the fact that there aren't any tools here that could help open the lock.

@ctrlsaltdel You are also welcome to make an Investigation roll. ^_^
@Lurking Krog A cursory inspection reveals that the cupboard is locked.

Can I get an Investigation roll from you, please? ^_^

After Rearden points at the door with her staff, the party moves to the door. Whether Rearden or Aurora open the door themselves, or the let Zavakri or Gabriel open it, they find the door creaks loudly as it swings open into the room.

After the door is fully opened, the party sees a large cupboard standing alone in this dark room. Fine scrollwork frames the cupboard's two doors, which are bridged by a circular panel of dark wood. The panel is inlaid with a silver hourglass sigil; The sands currently resting at the bottom of the hourglass.

Other than the cupboard, there doesn't seem to be anything else here. It wouldn't be too far of a leap in logic to think that anything of interest in this room is in this cupboard.

So not worth me making a perception check, then? If not, I'll just make a quick post to move things along.

That is correct. You guys found everything in the Fabric Storage Room. ^_^

@Guardian Angel Haruki I'm under the impression that's all in the room then. I'll get a post up later

Yup. That’s all there is.
Looking forward to your post. ^_^
