Out of curiosity, are the guests at the Witchlight Carnival all people from the caravan Miss Light arrived on or are there guests from other sources as well?

There are guests from other sources as well.
On another note: I am ready for the story to progress, unless the discussion between party members continues.

The true power of the Trickster: being able to sense past the fourth wall and know of game mechanics.

And Stargaze is gonna be so confused.

Admittedly, I am also a little confused...which game mechanic is Skobeloff referring to? ^^"
Cascade

Cascade looked more perplexed and thoughtful than hurt at all after Aura gave her answer. The water genasi couldn't help but wonder if she used the wrong word for what was thinking. She snapped out of the reverie when Aura stated that she views everyone in the party as family. Her expression immediately brightened, with a wide smile, and she answers happily, "Auwe! I'd love that, Aura!"

The possibility that Aura could be lying never crossed Cascade's mind. She instead looks to Flicker and Jormund, as she adds, "Flickah, Jormund, you guys are part of my Ohana too!"

She then adds, "I can't wait to introduce you to everyone in Zephyr!" For now, the threat of the invaders and the demon's words were gone from her mind.
Sorry, I'll get a post up. X_X
Sorry it's taking me a bit to get a post out. Been a little busy, and also I'm a little stumped on what the Crow is going to say to Ashley.

Maybe I can help? I had a thought when I read Ashley's post.

"I assume that it also puzzled you at times." she noted, not asked to the Crow. "Human societies tend to be very complicated and ceremonial after all."

Her voice is laced with a bit of cynism. Ashley is a human studying history and even she can't help but perplexed at times after all.

Animals do have their own ceremonial practices. Corvids, particularly crows, do engage in what is widely considered as funeral-like ceremonies when one of their own dies.

Though whether or not the crows actually mourn, or are doing so to assess risks and dangers in the area and learning why one of their own died, only Nevermore could say.
Posted. Sorry for the delay

Oh, btw is this the book we were talking about?

It is. ^_^
I am also still enjoying the RP.
Quick note for DM Posting: I'm going to wait for more people to post before I write anything up for this weekend/week. ^^"

Almost. Allow me to get one last post in and then I believe things can be drawn to a close on this front.

Thank you!

I found this short and I can't help but think that this would be the result if Emily tried to give Nevermore a Griffon form and it goes horribly wrong! XD ROFL!
