Kalila feels the familiar sense of her hairs standing up on the back of her neck. She looks up as a part of her warns her that she's not alone anymore. Upon sensing that, she immediately stands up and scans the room, ignoring the physical burden of the day. She looks around and her eyes land on the tapestries. The patterns slightly shifting in the lamplight sets her on edge.
Then she sees it! One of the tapestries moves just slightly, as though there was a slight breeze. But, there are no windows and only one door. There's no way that was just wind. Kalila's mind then went to the next possible reason that curtain just fluttered: Something arcane just happened!
Her wide eyes remain on that tapestry, and she does her best to walk backwards, slowly and cautiously to the door leading in and out of the room. Her eyes also quickly dart about looking for an improvised weapon to use to defend herself before flicking back to the fluttering tapestry.
If she manages to slowly make it to the door, she would try turning the doorknob to open the door. She would find her palms are sweaty, and her hands are shaking as she grabs for the doorknob.

I'll go ahead and adjust my post to account for the first three bandits' turns.
They are about 30 feet away, and the fall from the precipice is about 20 feet.
Lucky for Cadmus, there's a curve to below the precipice, so if he succeeds on an Acrobatics or Athletics check, he can slide down and not take any damage.

The golden stag doesn't seem to answer his words, but instead just keeps leading Cadmus through the forest. He doesn't know how long he's followed this stag; It's hard to tell how long is an hour in the forest without the use of any time-keeping devices. To Cadmus, it feels like the stag is moving as fast as it can without leaving Cadmus's line of sight.
Evidently, the stag does reach an edge of a hill that drops downward. The stag stops and looks to Cadmus, before looking towards that edge. Could it be that it...wants you to look that way or go that way? Either way, after leading Cadmus there and that moment of silence, it flees and bounds off into the forest away from that precipice!
Should Cadmus move to look over that precipice, he would see a concerning sight. Four bandits surround Meli, two of them are holding her still and restrained!
"Alright boys! We got her! Gag her and let's get outta here!"
Meli is struggling as best as she can against their grips, but they're too strong for her. It doesn't help that there is a net over her, entangling her and making escape that much more difficult!
Cadmus can see the bandits are already moving away with Meli, but with her struggles, they are moving slower than they normally would. The bandits don't seem to notice Cadmus's presence, and one of them simply moves with the other two. It seems he's preparing for Meli's attempts at escape.
