Do you have any guidelines on that, or any potential organizations I could insert a character into? If not, would you mind me creating a faction? I'll probably end up just making an independent, but it's nice to know my options.

Sorry, my fault. I should have been more specific. You can create characters that still work for MetaOps, just not the actual ground team. For example, Skyrte's told me he plans on his character being a pilot that provides air support, like eye-in-the-sky type of thing. The reason for the "no rogue party" thing is that the RP's plot focused and it wouldn't make much sense of how a third party would be able to get involved with every mission. If you can prove me wrong and create a rogue character that can still be worked into the plot, than be my guest. Again, sorry for the confusion.
Just an update:
- @Prince of Seraphs we're still waiting for you to give your character a Code Name.
- The Irish Tree has notified me that he's close to finishing his character, but he's not sure if it will be completely done by today. So, in case he doesn't finish, we'll start without him, and as soon as he's done, his character can jump in.
- I've recently been asked by @Skyrte if he could join the RP as a character that is not on the strike team like the rest of us. I've given him permission and if @Micia and @Milkman would like to do the same, you can.
- Last but not least, we start the IC tomorrow. I'll try to make a post around noon Pacific Standard Time, but I can't promise that it'll be up at that time, just that it will be up that day.
