Don't forget, they made another new hero named Screentime. A meme loving superhero who got his powers from exposure to internet gas. He has the ability to basically be a smart phone.

Alright, I almost used beaming tech to aid Stephen's escape from Pegasus, thinking the space station would be like DS9, then it occurred to me that we might not have tech like that.

Does that mean we can't have a holographic Doctor like on Voyager?

Also if force field are expensive enough that you only find them on big ships does the same apply to energy shielding?

You can have The Doctor and energy shielding if you want to, but you would have had to have picked it up from some other more advanced alien race.

Name: Krull

Race: Goralian

Gender: Male

Age: 103 years

Background: Krull began life humbly, as all Goralians do, clawing his way up the birthing pits. From their he only did what came naturally, war. You see, as a whole the Goralian race is a savage, war obsessed race who put the "Honorable War" above all things. And so he went, collecting trophies and siring strong children until the day "The Sky Fell" nearly fifty years ago. When the revelation came that there were other things they could kill, the Goralian people gladly lept at the chance to add new skulls to the trophy racks. Unfortunately that meant attacking anyone who landed on the planet. When someone was finally able to crack the language barrier an agreement was struck up fairly quickly, come onto the ships and fight our wars. And fight they did, HE did. Krull was one of the first to accept the offer and since then he has traveled through the stars, bouncing between mercenary companies and random buyers. It's been only recently that he has joined the Starfire Company.

Personality: Brutal, savage, and oddly noble, Krull is a paragon of Goralian values. He will never stab one in the back, or shoot you in the back for that matter as that is both cowardly and dishonorable. Battle is his only calling and meat his preferred currency, literally. Krull holds currency in low standing, instead he prefers the barter system back on Goral. At the end of the day, Krull wants 4 to 5 things. Battle, trophies, meat, and woman....sometimes men.

Gear:
-Scavenged Armor and Gnarl wraps, Traditional Goralian armor. Minimal plating with focus on the torso, groin, and the knees down. Strong enough to block small arms fire entirely but falls short to higher caliber weapons.
-Hammerburst, primitive by most civilizations standards the Hammerburst is nonetheless effective at bringing individuals down because of the considerable force behind the slugs which have been known to knock people off their feet regardless of armor.
-Cleaver, a multipurpose tool, the Goralian cleaver is meant to slice through meat, bone, and some armors.

Personal Ship: N/A

You have clearance, Clarence.

Also what level of interstellar technology is generally normal? Like Star Trek levels, shields, phasers, transporters, holograms, force fields, that sort of thing or are we a bit more primitive like Firefly or Cowboy Bebop?

Also, a type in my CS, Stephen's 5'10" not 5'1". Just to mention.

Force fields exist, but they're advanced enough that you'll only find them on large ships, like cruisers. Lasers also exist but they haven't been around very long. If you were to just pick up a random gun off a battlefield, there would be a 50/50 chance of it being either laser or ballistic. Holograms are close to Star Wars level where it's all solid blue and static-y, so you aren't going to throw up a hologram of yourself and have everyone start shooting at it like in Halo. Mind you, this is just the Human technology level. Other races could easily have more or less advanced technology and that is all up the creators of that race. Beyond that, tech like teleportation is non-existent.

<Snipped quote by Guess Who>

I figured he'd be working for or with the Starfire Company (someone's gotta get those boys their weapons) and probably end up doing mercenary work for them too. If that doesn't appeal to you I can change it no problem.

It's all good. Just wanted to confirm that that was what you intended.

@Guess Who
If you are still taking I'd like to give this a go. I've had a race in the making that would be fun for this...at least it should.

Go right ahead.

Yes the inspiration for some of this was the Borg.

Also I was wondering exactly what kind of FTL technology the humans have? There are a number of different TV shows that use different FTL engines which are based on theoretical scientific theories and operate in different manors, I was wondering which we were using.

Your character is accepted. To answer your question on FTL technology, it basically is the same to that of the FTL drives from Mass Effect. The only real difference is that instead of Element Zero being subjected to electric current, it is Oppenheimium.

Good to go, @Raxacoricofallapatorius. Just a question though. You mentioned that Deraen is an arms trader and I was wondering if that means he is not a part of Starfire Company. It's fine if he isn't, but this will be where most of the action is. Also, thank you very much for the blurb.

Thank you for your interest @The Cook and @The Grey Dust. I shall be sure to look for your CSs when you two post them.
Ryan hadn't been looking directly at Acacia when she made her comment toward Truth, so when she mentioned knowing how he wanted 'to go off and find something better anyway,' he looked toward the girl in confusion. Why would she think that? "Huh? Wh-" he began before cutting himself off. It was then that he noticed who Acacia was talking to. "Oh, uh, nevermind," he quickly said before Acacia could ask what he was about to ask.

Ryan quickly began to wolf down the rest of the cold rabbit on his plate, as spending the day in town with the pretty Russian woman sounded like the most fun he would have in a while. His mouth still filled with food, he lifted the empty dish in the air and proclaimed, "I'm finished," though the food in his mouth caused it to sound more like, 'Ahm finshd.'

Rising from the couch, Ryan walked his plate from the upholstery to the kitchen, quickly swallowing everything in a large, painful gulp. He breathed in a small gulp of air before letting out a large sigh, making up for the lack of air the mouth-breather was getting with his main passage for air so well blocked. "Alrighy, I'm good to go, Ace."

Looks good, @Zetsuko. You can move it to the Character tab.
