After a short time, Ren heard the telltale howling of wolves, a grin spreading across his face; his quarry was near. The sound of rustling leaves and paws thumping against the ground filled the air. In the distance, a group of five wolves were headed in his direction, one of them was larger, adorned with a shiny black coat and silver streaks down its sides; clearly an alpha.

Running at a speed fast enough to keep distance, but not lose them entirely, Ren ran back to his staging area. If the wolves continued in their current formation and trajectory, all but the alpha would fall prey to his traps, which is exactly what the hobgoblin wanted. Climbing onto the pillar of dirt at the center of his staging area he gave a mighty cry of challenge to the wolves, "COME!!! MAY YOUR BLOOD BE SPILT FOR THE GLORY OF GATOVEN!!" he cried as he readied a [Defensive Strike].

Acquired Skills:

• Defensive strike: this goblin has learned that the best offence is a good defence. This goblin is able to take a defensive posture and still make a powerful strike either in the hopes of killing said opponent or to run away easier
• Military Strategy- Centurian position: The goblins have unknowingly used a formation of perfect defense and defensive strikes. This position when used in a funnel or with a group can wreak devastation to the enemy forces
• Gravekeepers spirit: All goblins are able to feel the strength of those that have long since passed. When near a dead body or a skeleton the goblins are able to draw strength without the requirement of being necromancers. Even carrying a skull as an adornment allows the goblins to be stronger, faster, lighter as they draw strength. However, drawing all the strength of a certain dead body or their parts will cause it to disintegrate into dust.
• Knowledge of the 3: Knowing the names of the god and goddesses of the world they live in they can now properly worship them. Ramos god of light and the sun, Duvelna goddess of death and the night, Shirila the goddess of the earth and nature.

As the guards instructed Mason to bring Lulu to the stables, he was stopped by the old woman.

"For your bravery you've earned a proper healing."

As a divine light left the woman's hand, steam began to rise off of Mason's body, staring at his leg, he felt everything reform, connect, and slide back into place. Though this was healing like he had never seen before, it almost felt...... normal. He quickly rushed Lulu over to the stable, "You did good today girl, get some rest, you deserve it." he said, giving the faithful steed a light pat on the neck before sprinting back over to the gate.

"Now may we enter?"

As Mason followed the Old Woman, he stopped in front of one of the guards, "My companions should not be long behind me. Their names are Constance and Dremmick, please see to it that they are directed straight to the castle." he said before continuing into the city. Seemingly without warning, a divine light surrounded the Old Woman before him, transforming her into a beautiful young woman. Mason was shocked, was this appearance an illusion? Was the appearance before an illusion? A million possibilities ran through the young seraph's head, his trance only broken by the woman once more speaking to him, "This young knight here will lead us. Won't you?"

"um... wh- Why yes! Of course milady! Mason said, shaking his head as he marched forward toward the castle.

A feeling of ecstasy flooded Jason's body as the Lizard's squeal echoed in his mind; [Rock Spire I] was proving to be a wise investment. However his moment of triumph was cut short as he felt a mana orb rip through his body, however, the little bastard was paid back in kind as Jason's body slammed down on top of it, ending it's pathetic existence. As he shot his vomit at the second wisp, it launched a mana sphere at the same time, the two shots exploding into a shower of vomit and sparkles as they ran into each other.

Unfortunately, the other slime though Jason was trying to steal it's meal, proceeding to lunge at him.
Thankfully, since he was already prepared to dodge an attack, he swiftly jumped out of the slime's way, simultaneously tossing the freshly killed wisp into it's gelatinous mass, calmly telling the slime "Me friend. Am helping you." as he landed, hoping that it was at least intelligent enough to get the message.

As Jason turned his attention to the wisp, the entire world around him slowed. This wisp was going to die here, and now. Spitting another ball of bile (this time without using magic) at the wisp, immediately preparing a [Stone Shot I], no matter what the wisp did to avoid the bile, it was going to get belted with a rock.

(OOC: If it wasn't clear, no matter what the wisp does, Jason is going to immediately fire a rock at wherever it starts to go)

Though the others tried to heal Nathaniel, their efforts were sadly in vain. Try as they may to heal him, there was simply nothing to heal, the pain was caused by the feedback of his new companion connecting to his nervous system. As the ringing grew worse, Nathaniel's pain began to subside. Slowly sitting up, he realized he could no longer feel the thing that had wrapped around his hand. "It's about time you return what you stole to this kind man..." said one of the older kids with a malicious grin as they grabbed Nathaniel's arm, trying to pry the chitinous gauntlet off of him.

When SUDDENLY!!!

Another one of the older kids was struck in the side by a ball-tailed cat! The group glared at Xuon, "Dude, what the hell!?!?!! He's a fucking thief!!! We're teaching him a lesson!" one of them said in a very aggravated tone of voice.
