So, Logos will be visiting Illy soon to more or less demand recompense for the intrusion into his domain and the theft of humans. Meimu, in particular, can balance the scales by agreeing to plant, protect, and encourage a single flower from Arcon onto Galabar; namely, a diamond flower. The flower will grow and spread on its on... and namely, it'll encourage the growth of trees made of diamond as well. In a few thousand years, there'll be an entire forest.

What's the catch? There's always a catch.

The process slowly changes the landscape into what you see, turning the ground under the flowers and trees into crystal and giving it sort of that giant's causeway hexagonal look. Not only that, but creatures who enter the woods wind up coming into contact with spores which change their entire physiology.

A crystal creature looks much like it did before its infection, but every muscle and organ of its body has been transformed into clear crystal. Through crystalline skin and bone, a faceted heart is visible, pumping translucent blood that refracts light and makes the creature glow from within. These creatures are seemingly mindless and will stay within the confines of the diamond forest, often staying as still as still as sentinels until some threat endangers the borders of the woods. They no longer need to eat or sleep, and seem deathless unless shattered.

Logos's sort of 'Fuck you' to the Changing Planes and the Desert.

Vulamera would be okay with the Diamond Forest, but she would never be happy about the creatures who enter becoming almost mindless. That's an insult to her domain!

She would be almost violently against Logos on this, and nothing could change her opinion on it

Gotta admit: it'd make a GREAT backstory for the eventually medieval civilizations. It sounds like something out of a Tolkien fantasy: eons ago, when man and Insidie were young, the Gods waged war across the skies...

Vulamera would probably get involved. Then she would attempt to drag those she considers her allies (read: Vakarlon, Lifprasil, and Kyre) into it. If they refused, however, she would be understanding of their wishes, and wage the war alone with Logos.

Zeph is pretty protective of his desert and the surroundings. Not sure if it's been outright mentioned, but not even Hain live in those places. He keeps them out.

He'd go out of his way to remove whatever things Logos dumps down there, and depending on circumstances might be pretty pissed at what amounts to a random provocation.

But by all means feel free; just know that it will most likely escalate IC.

So, question: how much of a dick would Logos be if he created something similar to the concept of the Ashlungs and dropped it... roughly on the border of of the desert/changing plains.

It would be a pretty massive dick move, but he can sure as hell count on Vulamera's support. Heck, she might even imbue them with an improved intelligence, to give them an edge over enemies.
