OOC Gender Restrictions

Straight men looking to write smut with someone else don't do it merely for the artistic quality of the prose they're writing. It's a fulfillment of a sexual fantasy. If they're straight and their writing partner is a man that might break the spell of sexuality of the whole thing, because to them it's only exciting if it's written with a female writing partner. They fantasize about the idea that what they're writing is also turning the female writing partner on. Because they're straight, it simply isn't interesting to them to write that kind of content with a roleplayer they know to be a guy. It defeats the entire purpose.

That isn't sexism. It's heterosexuality.

Hello dear friends,

@RomanAria has decided to step down from her role as contest moderator. As she was the only remaining active contest mod this means it's time for a round of new recruits ready to revitalize the contests with vision, inspiration and regular updates. The rest of the staff has always been pretty hands-off about that part of the Guild so you, potential applicant, would be able to do with the contests more-or-less what you wish, as long as it works.

If this sounds like your cup of tea, send a private message to @Ruby and myself and tell us why you think you're the man/woman/etc for the job.

People who regularly get in trouble with the moderators can save themselves the trouble and need not apply.
