Current @Ladypug Just ask Geralt. I’m sure he’ll give you enough reasons.

The value of a hypocrite’s criticism doesn’t depreciate because of their lack of awareness. It’s the best opportunity to grow, and not become just as oblivious. It’s also hilarious asf to witness.

yes from a science standpoint they’d implode the moment their facility was compromised and there’s no way they can walk the ocean floor with just suits on. If this tried to be remotely accurate the movie would have a 15 minute run time haha.
Happy Monday everyone.

I saw this movie trailer and thought about you all lol

@The Fated Fallen But of course! :)

@Nyxira Yeah were still going with that. As mentioned by Uruna, the table is situated close to the glass. Doesn’t mean Cap had to be sitting at it, but was standing right by that table that Voice put the original two drinks on.
Also, here’s the closest representation of how the HQ floors are designed that I could find (minus the dancers on raised platforms—at least until Atrigan starts drinking, if that slacker ever shows up :P)

Unlike the picture shone above, the walls are completely covered with the aquatic spacing, and if desired, a section can be compartmentalized, then detaches from the wall, making it become the mobile aquarium for the user.

Looks like we’re mostly in agreement! After Fated’s turn, we’ll basically go almost in the order we’ve been going in:

1. Me
2. @Nyxira
3.@LunarisDaFox
4. @Jasper19
5. @baraquiel
6. @The Fated Fallen

@Nyxira No worries! Looks like the main reactions to go for are the responses to Captain Weaver’s question, then Voice’s intro and question, followed by Uruna’s ninja attack XD

I think after you post, we’ll wait for @The Fated Fallen to get a post in.

Afterwards, we can have it more structured with a posting order. How does that sound for everyone?

@Meleck Have you seen that thing? Alexander would be more than welcomed to help fix the food truck if when it needs repairs!
@LunarisDaFox

Are these drinks free?

Everything we do is usually on the company dime... or rather... the USS’ dime. But technically, the standard currency is recognized as a credit. All wireless transaction.

But when/if we make transactions in Nautilus’ underwater community, it’ll all be dealt in a crystalline coinage called roens.

Captain Weaver was flanked by Trident members in what felt like a blink of an eye. She resisted the urge to step away, grab some fresh air out on the balcony, and jump into the ocean all together. That wouldn’t be very Captain-like now would it?, the Admiral would say.

“Oh, don’t concern yourself with lil ol me.” She said to Val, letting the country twang in her voice hang loose. The Droquilian was known to be a bit mischievous, but he had a way of putting her at ease. “You should be worrying about yourself. You stayin’ out of trouble?”

Classic deflection from Weaver, but she wouldn’t get off that easy. Izumo Yuriko introduced herself soon after. She knew all about Izzy, or Voice, as she received a thorough briefing about her from the Admiral. Weaver introduced herself in kind, restraining from making a salute. Voice was USS after all, but the Trident was an informal attachment. Aside from Captain, there really wasn’t a ranking system.

“Well, there’s no getting passed any of you.” Weaver nodded as Voice mentioned the staging area. “I’ve a speech to make after Rear Admiral Omarkei makes his introduction, whenever that is...”

It was odd that the Admiral hadn’t shown his face yet, but he was a busy man. He didn’t have to be here, but he insisted, and perhaps that’s why she was so nervous about going up on stage. The speech didn’t have to be good, it had to be the best, because that’s what she always gave him.

“Whoa!” Weaver nearly jumped out of her boots from the sudden knock against the glass behind her. She turned to see the Quirinian Uruna, floating majestically in the aquatic space. The glass was so well-polished that it almost looked like there wasn’t a barrier between them. Sinclair thought back to when she read Uruna’s dossier, and how intrigued she was about her medical skills. She hoped the Quirinian won’t have to use them too much in the coming days...

“You’re all so nice to come talk to a stubborn ol goat like myself. I’m doing fine, really. Tonight, I want y’all to let loose and enjoy yourselves because tomorrow’s a big day.” Captain Weaver realized that her mood got a whole lot better and felt a little bit more confident about making her speech.

I should have a post up by tonight.
"CHINO"
YOJI LARA CELESTINO

Time: Afternoon
Location: Central Point - Entre Dos Islas
Interaction: @Baraquiel @Pilatus
Link to Yoji’s character bio.

Yoji listened as Alison revealed a bit about herself. Several words sparked his interest, but one in particular resonated with him the most. Alone. A feeling of dread came and went, and he quickly tucked such feelings away like most do. No, he did not want such thoughts to fester for long, not for him, or for anybody else. Instead, he focused back to the other things she mentioned and found light in that.

“Ho ho! A singer in our midst!” Yoji’s eyes lit up. “I will not embarrass you and ask you to sing what you are working on. No, no! I would never do that! But... should your Teofilo Tonkatsu feed you well, and give you life and inspiration, I will not hold you back!”

As if on queue, her plate slid down the kitchen table toward Yoji. He scooped it gracefully like he did a thousand times before, setting it down in front of Alison. The sliced pork cutlet sizzled with marinated tonkatsu flavors, resting comfortably between toasted buns.

Yoji finally introduced himself after Paige did. He laughed when she talked about taking a dynamite nap after eating her sandwich. When she asked if the cups were for sale, Yoji gave a big smile. He couldn’t help but blush with pride.

“No, I’m afraid these are just for serving here...but if you’d like, I can sell it for...eh... 5 dollars!” Yoji nodded his head, as if convincing himself that that was a fair price. If his uncle were there he would’ve slapped the back of his head and yelled: 20 dollars! Heck, the fact that somebody even asked was a surprise. I guess they’re not as sucky as I thought.

Paige’s order came before she could make a response. The plate slid down to Yoji, who grabs it to the rhythm of the instrumentals playing in the speakers, and lays the Super Cuban down in front of her. The array of cooked vegetables layered in seasoning and saucy goodness was perfectly symmetrical to the Cuban breads stacked between them.

“Here you go! Hopefully the sandwich will be as dynamite as your nap!” The cooks whistled in agreement.

Minutes later, a man’s raspy voice could be heard from somewhere off in the distance. It was incoherent, but it sounded loud and aggressive. Yoji turned from the dining side, over to the to-go side of the food truck to get a better look. A man in his late thirties with long, unkept blonde hair, was stomping around in dark blue pajamas. He had one slipper on his right foot, and the other was bare.

“UNLEASH THE KRAKEN!” The crazy man raised his hands and glared at the heavens with bulbous eyes.

Yoji looked back at Ali and Paige and shrugged as he said, “Someone should tell him it’s already been released.”
