Species Abilities:

• His species possesses low light vision.
• Nautolan head tendrils allow them to detect chemical signatures, essentially allowing them to analyze other's emotions.
• As an amphibious species, Nautolans are natural swimmers and can breath underwater. They don't experience any difficulties living full time on land.

Skills:

• He's one of the best around at repairing and maintaining starships and vehicles in general. He's worked on all kinds of vessels, knowing the ins and outs of many of them.
• Yisil works well under pressure, able to tone out all the other noise and focus solely on the task at hand.
• While he's not the greatest shot around, Yisil is a solid marksman with a blaster. He's trained himself to be capable with his blaster pistol.
• He's good at slicing into computers and has some experience in building and maintaining droids.
• He's a decent ship pilot, it comes with working in the field. But he'd rather leave the piloting to the pilots.

Weaknesses:

• He's a bit of a lone wolf and not the most social of people. While hes tries to be friendly to others, he's usually pretty quiet and keeps to himself.
• Despite his training with a blaster he has no real combat experience and tends to avoid conflict in general.
• He has a mild addiction to smoking, most often cigars. It's nothing extreme but its a nasty habit that helps him relax.
• He's a perfectionist when it comes to his work in ship engineering. He constantly challenges himself to get his work done as efficiently and perfectly as possible. He tends to dwell on any mistakes he made.

History:
Yisil has been all around the galaxy, coming from simple beginnings he was born on his species homeworld of Glee Anselhm. A gorgeous ocean planet located on the Mid Rim, he spent much of his childhood years swimming deep in the seemingly endless oceans which covered the world. His family was small and tight knit, he loved homeworld but in time grew beyond it. Tales of massive starships and awe inspiring high tech cities fascinated the young Nautolan. He'd often bombard the merchants and tourists that came to the world with questions all about life beyond the planet. As he entered adulthood his family pooled together their credits and bought him a starship, a basic vessel but nonetheless one capable of traveling the stars.

After saying his farewells he left his homeworld, first heading for Coruscant. The world was covered in a sprawling city, and Yisil spent weeks exploring it. Culture shock would set in as he realized how far he was from home, and how different this new world was. There were others of his kind on the galactic capital but they weren't that common. He already possessed a knack with repairing technology and long held a fascination with starships, it was natural that he would seek a career in the field. Yisil decided to head for Corellia, drawn by its fame for being a site where massive spaceships were built. He'd take up an apprenticeship position underneath, Odon Marcharc, an important engineer working for the Corellian Engineering Corporation. As he set up life on Corellia he took advantage of its beautiful environment, in his days off he'd often swim in the massive seas, which reminded him of home.

For several years he worked under Odon, eventually rising up to be the man's top assistant, going from an unpaid apprentice to somebody of importance within the Engineering Corporation. He'd help build everything from starfighters to freighters and larger ships, all the while suggesting new ideas and features to include in each build. Yisil enjoyed his time working with Odon, the human would grow to be one of his closest friends and his mentor. The Nautolan would eventually be contacted by the Republic and offered a position working onboard their ships. He made the tough decision to take the offer, the higher pay and opportunities to explore the galaxy drawing him in. Odon wished him luck in his journeys, making Yisil promise to visit him down the line. The Nautolan made the promise then departed the world, on the move once more.

Yisil would serve as an engineer aboard multiple different vessels, as the Clone Wars began he'd be drawn into the conflict. Never taking a combat role he'd instead maintain the great ships that the Republic depended on. Some times were more stressful than others, as the ships he were stationed on would sometimes come under fire by Separatist forces. Managing to survive this aspect of the war, he seeked to move on to a less dangerous job. Due to his previous dealings with Jedi and his years of exceptional work engineering starships, Yisil applied to work on the Reclamation.

On the edge of the Ilos system

The massive warship floated in space, stationary as activity stirred inside of it. The original occupants were long gone, any traces of its Imperial roots seemingly wiped other than the eye-striking design of the ship itself. As evident by the insignia painted upon the exterior of the bridge, the Revenant was under the control of a group far different from the Galactic Empire. The Star Destroyer served as the home of the Shadow Marauders, the largest and most powerful pirate band within the chaotic region of the galaxy under control of the Hutts. Smaller vessels hung around the colossal ship, the insignia also painted upon them. Three X-Wings and four TIE fighters swiveled over top of the Revenant, dancing amongst the stars before they darted into the hangar. The Maruaders had no sides to pick, no qualms with taking and using whatever starships they could get their hands upon.

Inside the warship hundreds of pirates mingled, spread all throughout the ship many called it their home. Some had made families here, others simply drifted in and out of it, their fearsome leader in total control of who lived in her ship. Banners and murals decorated the hallways, a large room within the ship having been transformed into a tavern. In the hangar the pirates exchanged stories and memories, their ships parked all around it. A few merchants were allowed free entrance and leave to the ship, those that sold their wares at a discount to the Maruaders. Other visitors were not common, any unknown vessels that decided to approach the Revenant were often treated as hostiles. The Star Destroyer never stayed in one place for too long, traveling intermittently through Hutt Space.

The command bridge was comparatively quiet to the rest of the Revenant, seated in a makeshift 'throne' at the head of the bridge was a Devaronian. She was clad in eyecatching red and black Mandalorian armor, bought off the blacket market. Lalni Vudeiz sat with one leg crossed over the other, watching as a trio of approached her, crossing the walkway. To one of her sides was her fearsome bodyguard, Kur, an enormous grey furred figure with a heavy scattergun strapped around his back. To the other side was one of the most senior pirates, Iakar. Each of them giving a distinct glare of their own towards the approaching group.

"Captain, this is the one we caught sending messages to the Imperials. He wishes to explain himself." A Twi'lek male, simply known as Vib said to her. He was one of the many pirates in her command, loyal to fault and willing to die for her. She always made sure every single member of her pirate band made her that promise. She was their queen after all.

"He thinks hes worthy of even looking at me after what he did? Of breathing the same air I am?" Lalni asked cruelly, directing it at the apparent turncoat. The poor fool was covered in bruises and burns, missing several teeth as he simply stared at the floor. His hands were bound behind him and he was clad in dirty rags.

"What were you sending exactly? Coordinates? Informing them of our latest raids?" She continued to question, raising out of her seat. Standing in front of the traitor, she grabbed him by the chin and forced him to look at her. The man was almost shaking, one of his eyes blackened brutally, he was barely even able to open it.

"It was nothing serious-s. I promise." The man weakly stated. For a moment Lalni just menacingly stared at him, looking down upon him as gears turned within the ruthless woman's head. Her underlings knew of her brutality, how cruel she really was to those that failed her, or worse, betrayed her. Then her fist slammed into the turncoat's jaw, causing him to gasp in pain. The aggressive pirate queen had put strength behind the swing.

"That doesn't change that you still did it. Whats your name, fierfek?" She asked in a disgusted tone, kicking him swiftly in the gut.

"Iaxic, my names Iaxic." The man muttered, following a bloody cough.

"Well Iaxic, why did you betray us all? What did you tell those damned Imperials?" She asked, sitting back down in her seat. The rest of bridge dead silent, no one daring to speak when their leader did.

"I just told them about our recent raids, nothing more. I met one of their contacts at Paradise, they promised me a lot of credits to feed them information they wanted." Iaxir shamefully spoke through a gaped tooth mouth.

"Just credits? You get all the credits you can handle from us. Ask anyone here, they all know how generous I am, and you should too." Lalni replied. Iaxir having been with the Marauders for almost a year now.

"No, they promised protection for my kid, my son. He's on an Imperial world. They said they'd put him through school." He weakly added.

"Your son? Tell me about him." The pirate queen said, intrigued at this development.

"He's only five, his names Cen. His mother died right after he was born. He's staying with my sister, I haven't seen him in months. I just want a good life for him." Iaxir stated, on the verge of tears. Pain mixing with sadness. It did not sway Lalni at all from her furious state.

"I wonder what would be worse. Your son becoming an orphan, or him forever seeing his father as a treacherous fool?" She asked, locking eyes with him, a smile leaking onto her face.

"I beg you, please, mercy." Iaxir pleaded, tears beginning to run down his face. It was a pathetic display. to her side Iakar shook his head, not saying a word as Lalni continued her menacing glare towards the traitor.

"Well, I can't sell you to the Empire. They wouldn't want you. They'd have you killed or throw you in jail. That's if they didn't try to break the deal, but they probably would, knowing them. Maybe I'll let this mistake pass by, let you live and spend the rest of your pitiful existence working to overcome this shame you inflicted upon yourself." Lalni stated, she'd rather not do any deals with the Imperials anyway. Iaxir was silent as he heard her words, for a moment he believed she'd let him live. Those hopes were vanquished a moment later as the pirate queen made her decision.

"Put him out the airlock." She stated, smiling, then waved him away.

The pirate behind Iaxir yanked on the man's arms, dragging him to his feet then away from Lalni. She was done with him. Tears were streaming down the man's face as his fate was sealed. He tried to beg more, hoping she'd change her mind, screaming and trembling as he was escorted to his fate. But there was no chance. Perhaps in his final moments as the air was sucked from his lungs, the sterile coldness overwhelmed his body and he suffocated slowly in the never-ending darkness of space he'd think of he should have reconsidered his treachery.

I don't know, man. That's a pretty sketchy text message that potentially suggests launching an investigation with no proof for a prolonged period of time in order to sink him and his approval numbers.

First off. These two agents did not start the investigation. They did not run it. They were both removed from it as soon as Mueller discovered their opinions on Trump.

Yes, an agent can harbor an opinion, but any eagerness to push forward because of their bias does throw some doubts upon the credibility of the investigation.

They didn't push forward because of their bias. These messages were from before the investigation began. Questioning the credibility of the entire investigation over two dismissed agents is idiotic. Neither one has been involved in the investigation for months now.

1) Good for Rod Rosenstein. So what? This does not mean Rod Rosenstein harbors no political biases or motivations of his own.

He was a Trump apointee. He was the man that pushed for Trump to dismiss Comey.

2) Good for Mueller and his party registration. So what? Joe Scarborough was/is a Republican, but that doesn't mean he follows Republican ideology to a T. Jeff Flake is a republican, but does that mean he's absolutely true to that to every single letter? Simply, the answer is no. People call people Democrats and Republicans "in name only" for a reason. Just because you are labeled or registered in a particular manner does not make you an unbiased party.

True. But Mueller was considered by Trump to replace Comey. His track record of bipartisanship speaks for itself.

3) The public opinion is another 'so what?' moment here. Public opinion does not equate to the correct opinion.

What is the 'correct opinion' then? Your own? It shows that this is a commonly held opinion that Trump is an idiot.

Too many coincidences revolving around Mueller and his investigation. Far too many.

As it stands, I have no idea how long this investigation will go on. My opinion is that they have, and will continue to have nothing (on Trump), but will continue the investigation for as long as possible because the longer they can keep the shroud hovering above the more they can sway a decent number of the general public's thought on Trump and his administration.

Well that's your (biased) opinion. The investigation has given way to indictments of several people. No one knows whats going to happen next in it. Investigations take time.

Yikes. The Justice Department released FBI messages that are clearly anti-Trump. What are your guys thoughts on the Trump-Russia investigation now?

This is a terrible attempt at discrediting the entire investigation via guilt by association.

Two former people on Mueller's team, who were both fired by Mueller for having 'anti-Trump bias', shared opinions in privacy before the investigation began. FBI agents are allowed to have opinions, especially on a man that has attacked the FBI several times.
Opinions commonly shared by the public. An opinion also shared by the Trump appointed Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. Both agents were removed before the press even learned about their 'bias'. They haven't been involved in the investigation for months now.

The deputy attorney, Rod Rosenstein is behind Mueller and sees no reason to fire him. He was the one that appointed the special council.

• Mueller was appointed by the current administration.
• Mueller was last known to be a registered Republican. He has a history of non-partisanship.
• Mueller was interviewed and considered by Trump to be the FBI Director after Comey was fired.

The investigation has led to the indictments of four people. Flynn, Manafort, Papadopoulos and Gates.

Mueller ain't going away.

The real concerning thing here is that the head of DOJ used their power to assassinate the character of two private citizens by leaking their text messages sent in privacy to the press.
