Rheese Laudat

While Rheese did his best to politely ignore the slight blunder in front of him, he couldn't help but grin slightly.

"Oh, that's neat. So by someone like you...I guess you're referring to the psychic thing you did with your umbrella?" Rheese asked. Despite travelling with his parents, he had never met an actual psychic before.

He heard the Pokeball in his pocket open and before he knew it, Wooper was spraying him in the face with water. The little blue Pokemon jumped in the air with glee when he caught the glare from his trainer. While Wooper didn't have a preference when it came to his Pokeball, he had an uncanny sense of timing. Any time he sensed Rheese wouldn't see it coming, Wooper would pop out and entertain himself.

"C'mon man, now I have to meet with the professor soaked like this!" Rheese chastised Wooper whose grin didn't fade. Eventually he just wiped his brow with a sigh and looked back at the other trainer. "Oh, right. My name's Rheese and this is Wooper. First impressions aside..." Rheese glanced at Wooper. "It's nice to meet you."

Professor Bonsai

As per usual, Professor Bonsai was buried in in files and papers ranging from new findings to personal memos. He was shaken from his work by the sound of the door sliding open.

"Oh, hello." Bonsai said as he saw a young man enter the door. "Is there something I can help you with? Oh! Of course, you must be one of the new trainers coming in today!" He said, answering his own question. Shuffling through the files he had on the side of his desk he managed to find a folder of new trainer files.

"So, uh...which one are you?" He asked timidly.

@LuckyBlackCat Catching new Pokemon will be handled like it is in other RPs, just so long as we're in an appropriate biome for them. I'm thinking of just using a tier system (IE: we just scale up about five levels for every town we get to or something similar) As much as I'd like to use battles to level up, it could get pretty cumbersome really fast.
