And back I am. Exhausted, certainly, and may need a while for that to wear off, but I'm once more here to read and even write!

Should have been writing posts. Took part in D&D shenaniganry instead. Got to fix that tomorrow.

There's a lot of backlog here on my end. I'm trying my best to lessen it, but replies might be less frequent for a time. A welcome change from the nothing doing I went through though! Thanks partners!

Bio

I suppose it is about time for me to copypaste fill in some information about myself over here just as well. Only took me a few years to getting around to do it.

I am a married individual in my twenties from the country some people dare claim does not exist. The Finland conspiracy is an old joke, you can stop with it now. Not a native speaker of the English language by any means, though I did begin studying it exceptionally early for our country's standards. I suppose it was some sort of a test case. With that out of the way though, what more should I be saying here...
  • I like being nice to people. If one needs to ask why, well that alone is reason enough.
  • I play and Dungeon Master Dungeons and Dragons, both offline and in the past also over here.
  • I enjoy OOC chatter, be it planning the RP or a more casual exchange (not that RP'ing is that serious). I can make do without, but don't be afraid to talk to me.
  • Whatever the case, I'm here to have fun and hone my writing abilities!
I do think that should about cover it, yes.

Thanks for stopping by I suppose! I do also have a Discord account, but I prefer to start anything RP related on the site. At least with people I don't know from the past, that is! But hey, now if you are a longer time contact of mine and happened to read this, now you know and can ask!

Now that the characters have had some time to get to know "potential" new party members, I will be throwing in another post of mine soon.
@The Harbinger of Ferocity
Now that you remind me of the subject, the guard will rise up after given the hit point from Lay On Hands, although their walking will be undteady at best. They will request some assistance and the infirmary will be able to tell that a tendon in their foot has taken a hit. Not quite severed, but damaged.
Well, we do need something. Seems like @Lucius Cypher and @Raijinslayer would be our best bet, given how they've landed in the same room.
@Ryonara
Health problems? I hope they do not prove to be too harsh.
About game related things, we are currently in the keep and thus far I've seen no need to add anything of my own part. You can do whatever your character would find natural in the situation and it would probably, but not certainly notice the new interesting faces. ...I'm being of no help, am I?
@Phoenix
I don't think your assumptions are wrong. It's just that we have yet to see any potential input from @Ryonara about it, but unless they specifically ask for a change I don't see anything wrong.
Well, given that we are still aiming to use said site (unless somebody comes up with a better plan) I guess there will be need to make sure everyone has access to their characters and has the information up to date. Again, I don't have many troubleshooting ideas, so your best bet would be to contact the admin.

On another note, I am now a proud owner of the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide! More archetypes and a better understanding on what lies premade before us. Not a bad addition to my collection.
Trear looked around herself and seeing that everyone else had already had their word, they opened their mouth: "And I am Trear Oakfell, a ranger by trade. Not to brag or anything but I've got fairly extensive knowledge about Kobolds, never liked the little things..." The guard captain raised an eyebrow at the final remark, something that was almost impossible to see from behind his helmet, but jotted all the information down as they had done with the other adventurers prior. Trear did notice this behaviour and didn't like it one bit.

"Hey, what's with the scoffing?" she demanded to know. The guard captain merely shook their head at her outburst, muttered something to themselves and headed off. "I don't think he believed me", Trear added with a sour visage. Little did she know, the guard captain had been quite interested in the fact and would soon tell it to the Governor. In the end, this would lead to her separation from the group... but for now, she stayed around.

The villagers stood around confused, not understanding why the captain had not instructed them where to go next, but corporal Shadekoc saw this oversight and began herding them to the quarters with the exception of Cuth who, they promised, would be led to the infirmary as soon as possible. They had already made their way to the keep without a problem, so they could wait a mere moment as the bigger group was led out of the way right? The same promise was made to the adventurers, they would be back soon if nobody else would be available to lead them there...

"I could have been sure that big monk man was here just a moment ago... well, if you catch him before I'm back they should be able to show the way. Not a part of the guard, that man, but they've been helping like they were", the corporal informed the group before he finally left with the majority of the arrivals, taking a concerned look at the guardsman he had dragged in. "And if you could carry private Slackman with you... that would be appreciated", the corporal added over his shoulder.
@The Harbinger of Ferocity
How curious. I still have access to your character information, so it must not have gone down as your user data did. I wonder what would cause deletions...
@Phoenix
Oh dear. That is... quite something else, isn't it? I hope you can resolve this matter without losing your important files in the process.

About your post, Orchid happens to be a Half-Orc, not an Ogre and there would not very likely be traffic to the outside areas as things are now (so corpse wagons would not move until later). Otherwise, that was quite the introduction you've got there, despite the technical difficulties.
@Lucius Cypher
Your best bet would be to contact the admin. If the system is set up correctly, they shouldn't have any easy access to the information though, but you can always ask. If not, I can always provide you with the currently existing information and you'll create a new user. Try the contacting method first though, the manual transfer is a lot of work. (Perhaps the admin can help with that if nothing else?)
