Nice. I'd like to create a slicer/hacker archetype. Someone who can get the crew (and themself) in and out of computer systems, passed security protocols, and knows how to forge holos. Kind of a one-stop shop. Combat prowess will most likely be secondary.

I'll prob be a hack (pun intended) and use Kasumi Goto from Mass Effect as my template, just uh, in the SW universe :)

@Eviledd1984, not so much protect, but rather sense something happening, trace signatures or something in the air or in a mobile device.

Honestly, this is fantasy dealing with magic, so there could be any number of creative ways that could still be kept somewhat plausible :)

As for the "hacking" part, yeah, I don't plan on making her able to hack through everything or alter TU in anyway that would essentially be circumventing the system rules, etc. I suppose, since you mentioned Sombra, she would be like a support/engineer type character using her hacking abilities as a debuff really. Or, an item that can essentially shutdown certain tech, as mentioned.

But yeah, I'm trying to be careful how I use the term "hacker", since IG it can mean a lot of things. In RL, Blake has actual hacking skills that she uses to test Corporate Security. In TU, she also uses those skills to test Security Protocols, but everything is more symbolic (i.e. like The Matrix, Deus Ex, etc).

I also don't want to make her to diffculat that even I lose sight of what she's supposed to be doing, lol.

EDIT: Or...maybe I just simplify her to be essentially a stealth-based "hacker / infiltrator / thief" who's sole purpose is to get in & out of wherever without being seen, and the ability to evade/escape.

Okay, I'm looking for a bit of feedback on a few things as I'm updating my CS:

RL skill: "Creating several alt skins and inserting code for her avatar in order to disguise/mask her trail within The Universe."

Would this even be a RL skill or just an ability within TU?

Essentially I'm trying to craft her to be support, and a shadow, doing things behind the scenes, etc in TU.

Also, I'm stuck on the "rare item". What would make sense for a relatively non-lethal infiltrator/hacker archetype?

Sort of off-topic, but not really. Does the RPO book cover more detail about certain characters and the Oasis? As usual, movie adaptations always leave you hanging.
