Current Posted a Game Master Guide in the Guides section. If you need help with GMing, refer to it for some handy advice. If you don't need help, then don't read it.

Bio

Hello all. I am an experienced writer who is writing my own fiction stories on the side. I can role play any genre. What I love most is being able to go-all-out when weaving tales with other writers. It just makes the story more interesting, so I can't wait to write with you. :)

I was going to wait for our potential Force Master, but tomorrow (if I have time), I plan on writing Fang attacking the Force Master School.
@Loki OdinsonIf he naturally has it in the game and you didn't have level up or spend any sort of currency to acquire it, then it is Strength. If you had to acquire it, then it is a General Ability.
@Loki OdinsonEven a human can beat a god in this game. The fact that they are normal means nothing.

@Bright_OpsCyndaquil wrinkled his nose at the name, but it wasn’t out of distaste. It was different—much more different from Chris, but any name was better than the one his previous trainer had given him. Dantes continued to softly scowl at the ground as he responded in denial, “Okay…but it’s not like we’re partners or anything. I…I don’t know you too well yet, so in the meantime…”

He looked up at Gredy, his cheeks flushing a little. “We’ll be friends I guess.”
I literally just had to go dig for the Cyndaquil CS lol. I thought I had lost it forever.

Pokemon Name: Cyndoquil
Pokemon Nickname:
Age: 7
Gender:
Height: 4'2" (Gijinka)
Weight: 97 lbs. (Gijinka)
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: You never see them. His eyes are slanted.
Generation: II
Type: Fire
Written Appearance: In his Pokemon form, Cyndaquil appears as a small black mouse with a lengthy snout and yellow underbelly. His fur is very short, smooth and silky to the touch. Along his black are four red spots that are fleshy and hairless. From those spots, Cyndaquil can present his porcupine-like flames. His body is always very warm to the touch, his temperature naturally being higher than most non-fire Pokemon. As a Gijinka, Cyndaquil appears as a little boy with slanted eyes and an interesting cowlick that always stands on top of his head. He'll wear loose fitting shirts and pants to keep himself cool for he finds it very easy to overheat. As a Gijinka, Cyndaquil can blend in easy for he looks just like any Human kid.
Visual Appearance:

Personality: Cyndaquil is a timid Pokemon who knows he's small and naturally doesn't like being taken advantage of. He is a quiet Pokemon who isn't entirely talkative. His actions speak louder than his words, and so one will find him or herself communicating more non-verbally with him. He's young and still adapting to this world of trainers, tournaments, and even seeing Pokemon that he may not have ever seen in his natural habitat. It's all overwhelming and deep-down he's frightened. He just needs a strong trainer to befriend and boost his confidence.

@CriticalHitApproved.

@Stern AlgorithmI see Dantes and Weedle getting along like brothers.

@Saltwater ThiefApproved.

@TalijaKeyNope. Thank you for the reminder. Two didn't mention me and so I didn't even know there were CSes through the sea of OOC, and the other one I just forgot. O-O

@Saltwater ThiefWhy not just have him overhear a cry that sounds familiar, curiously run in its direction, and sees the van take off? With Vix being missing, if he has a hunch, he could always go to Jaden and ask him where his Pokemon is. If he doesn't know, then that will probably bring suspicion that she was kit-napped. Boom. Simple. Done. Not even complicated. Move from there.

I'm growing exasperated with this topic, so please don't ask me what you should do again. If you can't figure it out, then I don't know what to say to you but to not post and let the scene move forward until you have a way of getting involved. If you can't see your character getting involved do to whatever situation, then just don't get involved.

Lastly, I'm not "other GMs." I am the GM of this game. So if you think there's some mechanical trend that all GMs employ, there isn't. Every GM is different and you have to learn to work with and adapt to each one. We're not made on assembly lines so if a GM has a certain way of doing things, then it's either adapt or get out. That's just how it is.
Okay, now that I've had some time to think, I'm not a fan of having another blank post just sitting in the thread. So, I'd like to rewrite it, but before I did that I wanted to toss a few questions about so we don't have another debacle.

@Holy Soldier I would like Seth to be aware of the Vixnapping and react to it. However, part of your original contention seemed to be my assumed observation of it, and I'm not 100% sure if that was just because I had her in the wrong location or because of that and because I'm not supposed to notice it. So; can Seth become aware of it, or should he have no idea?

Assuming the answer is that I can be aware: (If not, ignore everything below here)
How fast is the van moving? I ask mainly because if my initial guess is correct and it's heading down the road at 40 or 50 mph, following it on foot is impossible and I won't consider it.

For the sake of an alternative/avoiding player redundancy, if the Club were to be asked (by either Seth or an NPC I'd drum up as part of the crowd who's more Club friendly) for a business card or contact info or some other variant of getting an address, what would be the result?

@Raijinslayer since my post is already in the thread where I'd put this, how would you feel about some nonverbal communication between Jaden and Seth? I know you said you had a Pokemon who could alert him to Vix's plight, but maybe an exchange of looks to say "Something is wrong, look alive" perhaps?

I had a problem with the way you went about having Seth notice because it was illogical and due to that issue, it made everything else you wanted him to do unlikely.

There's nothing you guys can do about the van. It's going to drive off and it won't come back until it has dropped off its load. Where is it going? Your characters are going to have to use some logic and find out.

As for Vix's situation, it really should be Jaden who should be worrying most about his Pokemon. It is HIS Pokemon after all. I know you have RPed with Feisty before, but you can't allow that relationship to seep IC into the game because your character is still a complete stranger to Feisty and Raijin's characters. I'm not telling you not to get involved. I'm telling you that if Jaden actually gives a damn, then he needs to be the leader on this, and if your character cares, then he should be support.

As for the Pokemon Club giving him their business card, absolutely not. He and Jaden have already announced their distaste for their business. Why would any businessman or woman give out their card to someone who spits on their business?
