Okay, so I already have my first character in mind, but I'm wondering how I can edit his backstory to integrate him into the greater scope of your roleplaying game. I'm open to ideas!



Name: Francis Benjamin Richardson, Psy.D.

Alias: SuperEgo

Age: November 6th, 1995 (age 30)

Gender: Male

Appearance: Standing at 192 cm high with broad shoulders and overall high muscle mass, but fairly long limbs, Frank strikes an imposing figure despite his profession. His hair is brown and short, with a couple of bangs falling loosely over his thick eyebrows and brown eyes (the right of which is green because of his Xestrite power). He has a large but finely shaped nose and a somewhat prominent chin.

Superpower:Mind-reading; it allows SuperEgo to read an opposing person's brainwaves with an effective range of 2 meters from his right eye. Overuse strains the optic nerve, and in extreme cases, can cause permanent blindness in the eye. He mostly uses it to predict motor actions, which is useful in a fight, but at this time, he's unable to accurately read thoughts.

Skills:
High body strength: acquired mostly from weightlifting exercises and calisthenics, and through playing waterpolo in high school and college.
Martial arts proficiency: Another thing he trained in high school: he gravitated from aikido to karate to kickboxing. He's also very well-versed in the weakspots of the human body.
Psychology knowledge: even without Mind-reading, he's very good at using subtle manipulation to wear his opponents out.

Equipment:
SuperEgo armor suit: Nomex base, kevlar breastplate (impervious to gunfire), shoulder, arm and leg armor, Nomex gloves
Kevlar-Nomex trenchcoat with Kevlar shoulder pads, highly resistant to water and fire, worn on colder weather
SuperVisor: fully encasing helmet equipped with a soothing system for Frank's right eye
Gravity mine (pulls in objects and creatures within a 60 centimeter radius and holds them down for one minute, but the effect can be stronger with targets that struggle; one-time use only)
Specialty revolver: six-shooter with flash rounds (flashbangs), pepper rounds (pepper spray), taser rounds and Smash round (release a strong amount of kinetic energy at contact for knocking back powerful opponents)

Personality: One feature that immediately stands out about Frank is his stoic, level-headed temperament. When engaged with a task, he has a remarkable ability to persist even through the most arduous of challenges without showing discomfort or anger, though it isn't without limits. Consequently, he has patience even for the most unreasonable patients. Beneath this phlegmatic exterior is a caring heart and a strong sense of justice, seeing intrinsic value in all people. And that sense of justice being betrayed is one of the few triggers for anger in him.

Biography: Francis Richardson was born to an Orthodox Christian family in Ohio. One of the reasons he took an interest in psychology was the fun he had studying people, the way they talk, the way they walk and why they react the way they do. However, the trigger for him studying the science seriously was the suicide of his high school classmate.

He vowed to save those who found themselves in similar predicaments. Fast-forward to the end of his studies, his marriage to Melanie and his doctor's degree, InGenIous was on the rise. While he was interested in them at first, he started to suspect their activities, due to their use of marketing jargon and a lack of transparency in their biochemical branch's business policy.

For that, he was kidnapped by their agents and infused with Supranormus - a man-made biological substance that grants superhuman powers. The power he got allowed him to escape and relay the information to the nearest interested party before getting captured.
