So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopowner and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really. But, sure enough, I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show.

Fun fact: the only reason I ever started putting the two together was because in that particular version of UDC, the players who were using both Barbara and Starfire made them way older than Dick, so I had to basically pull a whole 'nother romance out of thin air. And the more I wrote it, the more I liked it. In comics canon, yeah, I go Dick/Babs all the way. In my own head-canon, though, that's another story.
I could get behind Bruce/Dinah. It'd probably be healthier for Bruce since Dinah's already on the right side of the law, and it'd allow him to dunk on Ollie. And anything that is bad for Ollie (comics-Ollie anyway), I approve of.
Let's not act like Dick doesn't have an ass that would bring all the cougars to the yard...
Personally I like the idea of Batman and Black Canary.

Bruce Timm always was a bit of an uneven writer, honestly. Without Dini it became all the more apparent that he leant on Batman’s superpower of making everyone in the same room as him suddenly stupid and incompetent whilst every woman simply wanted him without significant cause. His relationships in Justice League were just horrid and very poorly written.
In fairness, it's because he was covered in vaseline...

It has in C-a-H already when a character stabbed himself with adrenaline syrettes after a gun shot wound. Because I'm that damned one dimensional with my exclaimations that it has to leak into all of my characters.

As someone who has GM'd several large games (never again), the piece of advice I'd have here is to not burden yourself with unrealistic expectations. For yourself or for us.
Even if you make an effort to read every post, you're not going to key on every detail. So there's still likely to be moments where someone goes "Holy crap, how did @Byrd Man get THAT into a post?" and you're going to have no idea what they're talking about, because you read that post and completely missed the one sentence that off-handedly mentions Constantine finding a time travel bath tub, going back to 1937, and changing his name to Adolf Hitler -- thrusting all of us into a noir film version of Prime Earth/Earth-616.
...plus I'm really hoping that you don't notice my subplot to have Kai-ro become an amalgamation with Roma and rule the 7 Realms with an emerald fist from the Starlight Citadel...
