Current putting yourself out there is scary, yes. but you rob yourself and others of those positive and welcoming interactions you might have. high risk, high reward. you've got this, friend.

Yeah, that makes sense. :P Do you want me to edit my post or are you going to post?
**"Eh?"** Sophie asked, looking up from the pile of books she was already picking up off the ground. **"Hmm... I could make a list of things to do..."** She thought out loud, already placing the books down and heading for the desk. She wrote down a few of the things they needed to do before leaving for the festival and then what they would have to do at the festival. - Get the box of free books from upstairs. (I'll do that.) - Get the sign and the cloth from the closet to the right of this desk. - Print the flyers from the computer. (If you're unfamiliar with how that works, I can do it.) Once everything is gathered up we need to take them down to the festival and find where my booth is located. Once we do that, we can start setting up. - Put the cloth down on the table. - Put the sign on the front of the table. (I can show you how.) - Put a stack of flyers on the table. - Place a few of the free books on the table for display. Use the back of a flyer to write "Free Books!" and place it near them. When she was down she looked up at Lucy and motioned for her to come over. **"I'll leave it on this desk for now, but if you have any questions, just ask. I'd recommend that you go get the stuff from the closet while I head up stairs to get the sign.** She explained and then began to head upstairs. Normally, she was must nicer than this, but deadlines usually send her into this sort of tunnel vision frenzy where she gets way too stressed.
Last day before this RP gets kicked into the 1x1 section. All you have to do is show interest and I'll extend the deadline so you can make a CS. But we seriously need more people. .-. (This is borderline depressing guys. Come on.)
Alright. I think the former would make more sense as Caroline would probably think very lowly of the grunt doing the dirty work. How does this sound for assigned parts in situations like these, I'll RP the baddies, and you RP the good guys. From the way it sounds, I'm more apt to think like Team Auroras. (Not that I think that way, I just don't feel as strongly as you do it seems... xD) And in any case like this, unless one side out numbers the other, ie; three Auroras Members vs one 'good' guy, then we'd have to spread it more evenly because I don't like RPing too many characters all at once and four at a time would be a bit much. Lol.
Alright. Now we need to decide exactly what's going down in the center of this crowd. I know there's a pokemon battle, but is it single, double? It could be Viola and April's Dad versus a grunt and an admin of Team Auroras or it could simply be Viola versus the Admin and her dad against the grunt sort of deal. Then we need to decide exactly what led up to this battle, or battles. My thought are that the admin (Which is [Caroline Snow](http://img-cache.cdn.gaiaonline.com/1b0d8b42164fe2abc6eed3066366a19f/http://i1011.photobucket.com/albums/af236/Memorii-chan/My%20Sprites/IceTrainerBanner-1.png), btw.) battled Viola for her pokemon while the grunt, in the chaos that ensued, tried to make off with the pokemon at April's Dad's 'Daycare.' (There isn't a daycare in Santalune, but let's, for the sake of the RP, pretend one popped up after the events of X and Y and he started it in his home.) What do you think? Putting a picture dump here for things I might use later on. [Vs. Sprites](http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2012/046/a/b/ab3cf87afb4faff99223584dbd20d488-d4p4kj0.png)
April listened to Mr. Pike explain what was going on and turned to see the fire in Desmond's eyes light up. A small chuckle escaped her lips. Somehow, she doubted that she had the drive he did, but she did envy him for it. No, her only concern at this point was what her father was doing there. Why would breeder be needed at a pokemon battle? She was a bit perplexed by this and wanted to go see exactly what was going on. **"I'll go with you."** April told Desmond, still turned facing him. **"I want to find out what my father has to do with all of this."** She explained, smiling softly. She motioned for Desmond to follow her so that she could show him to the gym. It wasn't too far. In fact, it was next door so when they stepped out and turned the corner, there was a crowd of people to meet them, all with their backs turned to them. **"Literally... how did we not see this before?"** April asked, turning to look at Desmond behind her with a raised brow and chuckle. Regardless, she began the arduous task of finding a way through, telling people she needed to see her father to justify her actions, hoping that Desmond was following her or at least making his own path. --- In the Crowd In the middle of the crowd stood four individuals, battles already under way. April's father, Rick, was fighting a grunt with Nina but she didn't look like she was doing too well. On the other hand, Viola was fighting a rather flashy individual who kept twirling after every attack as if it made her seem cute. This battle, however, was leaning more towards Viola as her pokemon seemed much better off and untouched and the ice lady's pokemon, a small cubchoo, didn't seem to like listening to her. --- April As April grew closer, her eyes shot open at the sight of Nina, cuts on her sides, frost on her fur. Her mind didn't even register the other fight, she was watching the pained expression on her father's face and Nina's hard expression of defiance. She let out a quick breath of air, frozen in place. Who were these people and why were they hurting Nina? April had seen Nina get hurt in a battle before, but it still shocked her. Maybe it was the pacifist side of her speaking out, but she hated seeing pokemon get hurt. --- Rick and Grunt **"Come on, Nina! Push through!"** Rick shouted to his companion, his hands shaking slightly. Nina let out a small sound before rushing at the other trainer's pokemon once more. --- Caroline and Viola **"Oh, my dear pokemon! Why do you tease me so?!"** Caroline called out as she twirled, a hint of agitation on her face. This damned cubchoo wasn't doing a single thing she told it to. It kept letting itself get hit and using moves that were completely useless right now like Helping Hand or Heal Bell. It was healing the other team for Arceus' sake! **"Use Icebeam, my lovely cubchoo!"** She called out, twirling again as if it were show, which to Caroline it was a show. She would be hard pressed to let people hear the thoughts going through her head right now, like how much she wanted to smash this little ice bear's head in.
> Hopefully Dahlia comes soon, because Travis is kind of stuck in time trying to give that star milk to her while a bunch of cool stuff is happening. He could just put it down for her to grab whenever she wants to and avoid being stuck altogether. I'm having fun with this so far though. I'm enjoying Lucy and Sophie, I imagine them being pretty good friends. ^-^
**"Oh!!"** Sophie yelled aloud, having completely forgotten all about the New Years Festival. **"Drat! I was suppose to set up a booth."** She shouted, mentally hitting herself. She lifted a hand to rub the bridge of her nose, shaking her head. **"Y-you... wouldn't mind helping me, would you? If you do, I'll let you take more books with you."** she bargained, not to upset over lending more than the limited number of books. **"I wouldn't possibly be able to make it in time on my own and Kiri is sort of useless in that regard."** She continued, hearing a small meow of lazy protest from Kiri. She walked over to the pile of books and began piling them up in her arms to put on the desk so that Lucy could sort them as she liked. **"I need to get the cloth, the sign, the flyers, and the box of free books to give away. I can handle some of it, just not all of it in one trip..."** She explained, turning to Lucy with pleading green eyes. The box she could handle, but the sign was a different story. It would take a whole other person to take down there and Sophie wasn't exactly the most athletic person in town, by far she was probably the weakest next to the children.
We're still looking for more RPers. So, come on over! :3
