Why me? Beast asked himself. The girl from before had since admonished him for pushing people away, or at least that's what it seemed on the surface, and then slinked away as if she were a small kitten hit by her owner. He glared over at her, sharp eyes staring at her before he turned to look at the brunette who had introduced herself as Belle. His eyes went wide, her demeanor surprising him. What was her aim? What did she want from him? to protect these weaklings? His brow furrowed as he glared down at her. "Beast. Just... Beast." He spoke softly, his gaze shifting away from the girl. Then, another one showed up asking about a map. Beast turned his head, confusion gracing his rough features. "M-Map? There was a map?" He asked, a bit incredulous. Certainly he would have seen it... Unless... He sighed, mentally kicking hiimself. He'd left the damn letter on the table back in his home. It probably held the invaluable item somewhere. As if to goad him even further yet another person entered his personal space. He stared at the individual with the much too happy smile. His lips curled into a snarl. "Friends? I do not see friends. I see strangers" He replied, his voice just a bit too loud. The boy replied by asking if Beast would be his friend causing Beast's eyes to narrow in confusion. What did these people want with him? Was he some sort of entertaining show for them? Beast watched the boy do magic tricks, his anger rising. What was this? Was he trying to distract Beast? I'm not stupid like a beast and if you treat me as such... "Did ya like that?" The stupid ape asked him, staring him dead in the eyes. A small smile appeared on Beast's face, an odd occurrence. "I enjoyed it immensely! After all, I'm just a hunk of muscle with nothing going on up there, you know?" Beast replied, walking over to the man, towering over him by at least a few inches. "I know some magic tricks as well. Though, most of them involve getting rid of annoyances." Beast explained, placing a rather large hand on the boy's head and tilted it back so that the boy was looking at him. "Make a fool of me again, and I won't let it end so nicely." Beast explained, digging his fingers into the boy's slick hair. "And yes, I'll be your friend." He finished, chuckling, a loud, throaty sound that originated from his stomach. He let go of the boy and walked back to Belle from before. He began to give her a look as if to apologize but then decided to keep walking away from the crowd. He stood on the very edge of it now, simply watching the old woman, waiting for her to make a move. Then, yet another person decided to test his limits. Irritated, Beast wheeled around to find someone from before, a male. He huffed before turning back, ignoring his nice words.
April She watched the two talk with one another about his upcoming battle with Viola and she couldn't help but have a bright smile on her face. She'd already beaten Viola years ago, not that she remembered it. Viola's badge was the only one she had but she was always interested in watching a battle between Viola and another trainer. She blinked when suddenly the conversation was being directed at her. "W-What brought me back?" She asked, a blush forming at her cheeks. "Yes, I'd like to know why you're back as well. You've haven't been gone a few hours, why are you back so soon? Did something happen?" Rick asked, tilting his head at his daughter and then at Desmond. "W-Well... I uh... I meet Desmond here and decided to help him out by coming back with him and introducing him to you all! Besides, isn't it better to travel with someone?" She asked, smiling awkwardly. She did not want her father or Viola to know that she'd left without adequate supplies, they'd nag her to no end. "Oh? You'll be traveling with my daughter! Well, good luck. She's a hand full!" Rick told Desmond, putting a rather heavy hand on the boy's shoulder. "D-Dad!" April stuttered, her face turning an even brighter shade of red.
Beast jumped a bit as a smaller girl came up to him, speaking to him out of the blue. His eyes grew wide and his faced looked even angrier than it did before. A scowl found it's way to his rough features when all he wanted to do was smile. I should... greet her! Yes, say hello and introduce myself! I'll show them that I'm not as scary as I seem! "What do you want?" He spat out. His word choice didn't exactly correspond with what the girl had asked him or his thoughts. He felt his face flush with embarrassment, regret filling his heart. He hadn't meant to sound so harsh, all he wanted to do was say hello to her and yet... Yet again, as if he was being targeted, Beast jumped as another individual invaded his space and slammed into him. His stance however was firm and he'd barely moved from his position. Frustration was mounting and Beast could feel his blood boiling. One could only take so much embarrassment before one burst. Well, one beast anyway. Narrow eyes glared down at the offered hand. His lip began to snarl before a loud roar erupted from them, a roar directed at anyone in his vicinity. It was dark and deep, like the roar of a male lion, meant only as a scare tactic. "Stay away!" He growled, clearly upset. He swallowed, having realized what he'd done and turned away once again. Maybe... Maybe that was a bit excessive... He sighed, taking a peak at the Graham fellow and his friend. He wanted ever so badly to tell them he was sorry, that he was just stressed. But he couldn't force the words out of his mouth no matter how hard he'd tried.
Yeah, just studying and trying to get work done. I've been slacking off and now I'm playing catch up. It doesn't help that I sort of overloaded myself with several slowish RPs. But, I am keeping all of my 1x1s, no worries there. There are only two of you I think? Just you and Rasindel. So ye. Might take a while but I won't leave you hanging forever, promise. I swear on my most treasured character, Lily. Should I disappear without telling you, she shall suffer at the wrath of Lucifer and die a painful death. .-. Aka, I won't leave you. xD I'm reading for my education class right now and then I'm going to study the slides and then I'm going to try and work on the paper due this wed. and then work on my other paper and read some stuff and... ye. Loads to do. Anyway, how are you?
Scratch. Scratch. Beast sat in the largest chair in the living room of his vast home, the one left to him by his parents, scratching the side of his head as he looked over the letter that had arrived from the Academy. "What is it with these people and letters? This is like the third one they have sent me. I'm tired of reading them!" He shouted, throwing the paper to the ground. "I'm not going!" He continued, turning his head toward the fire place in defiance. "Oh no, no, no. That won't do, Master. you promised!" Ms. Potts responded, making short 'tink's as she hopping over closer to him. Lumière and Cogsworth shortly behind her. "She's right. You made a promise to us!" Lumière spoke, bowing curtly. "Yes, yes. A man always keeps his word." Cogsworth added in a gentle manner. Beast sighed, clearly distressed. This entire situation put his nerves on edge, his heart was sinking down to his down, a look of distress on his face. The three servants all looked to one another, sadness in their eyes. A few moments later, Beast was up and packing his things and within the hour he was in a cab on his way to the academy. It was certainly out of the way to go to, which he didn't mind. He didn't want any more people around him than necessary. Green trees flew past as the driver came closer to the academy. Beast's eyes went up to the rear view mirror where he could see his reflection. Angry dark eyes stared back at him and dark locks of thick brown hair fell into his eyes. He pulled his hands up to his head and pulled the hair into a ponytail, tying it up to keep it out of his face as much as he wanted to hide. He stepped out of the car when they arrived and waved the cab away as it went to unload his things into his room for him. It was his own personal driver after all. The dark haired, dark eyed Beast looked around the academy, eying a group of people at the entrance with an elderly woman. He looked down at himself. Simple khaki pants with a white v-neck short and brown shoes. He didn't... look too scary right? He tried his best to put a smile on his face as he walked up to the group of people but it didn't last very long as his nerves got the better to him. His smile faded and was replaced with a scowl as his heart palpated and his palms began to sweat. He didn't even register the people around him at this point. He was just trying very very hard to keep control of himself and not run out of there with all speed.
Name Adam "Beast" Cunningham Age 17 (Appears to be in his 20s) Story They Are From Beauty and The Beast Family None Crush/Partner N/A Currently Abilities Very Strong, 'Rage' Mode induced by emotions (fear and anger mostly) Personality To call him rough would be an understatement as Adam gets very angry very easily. Many people tend to stray away from him because of this and has caused him to develop a sort of complex. He doesn't believe anyone could ever love or even like a person like him. He has been called cruel, excessive, and brutish. Most people don't see the soft side of him that the people that worked back at his home saw as whenever anyone does happen to see it, he gets so angry that they quickly forget whatever they saw. He does, however, when prompted, talk to others of his own volition but it is particularly rare. History Adam grew up as a lonely rich prince in a large castle like home. His parents died when he was relatively young and he has lived with his servants ever since. One day, an old woman came to his front door but because of her appearance, Adam turned her away, not able to take the ugliness of her appearance. Because of this, the old woman cursed him and changed his appearance as well as those in his service. His appearance changed and he became very rough looking. Whenever he went out, women would shield their children from them and men would look at him with anger or confusion. No one would talk to him and soon he became recluse after all of the grief he got from his appearance. Knowing that the curse could be lifted if the young master fell in love, his servants convinced him to go to an Academy with that purpose in mind. Every now and then Ms. Teapot sneaks in to come and check in on him and make sure he's doing as he promised, finding someone to love. Thanks. Me too. I'm ready for my throat to stop hurting so I can get a good night's sleep for once.
Cool. :D
Alright! That works for me.
Beast will function the same way he did in the movie. He is always appear as 'Beast' until the whole one true love thing happens an THEN he will change back into the 'before the curse' appearance. He won't always look like Jason Momoa. -cries- (Jason Momoa is beautimous.) Kayley is the main character, or at least one of, in Quest for Camelot. She looks like this... She goes along with the other (blind) guy, can't remember his name along with the two headed dragon character. So ye. If you still need a refresher, I'd say look up the wikipedia entry. I had to to find out Kayley's name. xD Also, I will not be doing both. I will only do one so choose which you'd like me to do more. I noticed you had Belle so I was wondering if you'd prefer me not to Beast or what. It's up to you. :P
"Of course, girls! I wouldn't slight you like that! Just come back when you need a refill." He told them, grinning with such forced that his eyes closed shut. Sera simply nodded and took the lantern from him before turning to look at her sisters. "I guess I'll carry it. Let's go looking for the dork, he's probably crying his eyes out by now." She told them, already walking past to head for the entrance to the depth of Faron Woods. She'd been told of the temple deep inside the forest but she'd never seen it for herself, never had a need to. Now, however, she did. Wll, granted Talo even got that far before breaking down. As she walked, she turned to her sisters and asked, "How far do you think he made it?"
